Chapter 21 - Different from what you have imagined

Sato DxD might be a pervert, but Sato Fairy Tail wasn't such a person. Instead, he worked hard to learn many magics.

As expected, without a doubt, his qualification was average.

Yet, even if he was average, it didn't mean that he was bad, or rather, even if he couldn't master magic to the level of a master, he could learn any type of magic, but as expected, the result was just normal, and it wasn't even exceptional.

Once again, it was just average.

However, it was all fine, he thought, since having the qualification to become a magician meant a lot, especially in this world, which had always reeked of danger.

Still, what about his origin?

Fortunately, unlike those of the original characters on the Fairy Tail, who had lost their parents, been kidnapped, or experienced many other tragedies that forced them to go to the Fairy Tail, to seek a place to live and grow up, while he was an orphan, he lived at Magnolia, where he lived at the church orphanage.

Why did he say that he was lucky despite being an orphan?

It was because Magnolia was a famous town, especially when it was also where the famous, strongest guild in the kingdom had its base, the Fairy Tail.

As he lived in this world, it was impossible for him not to know about Fairy Tail, and because of that, why should he hesitate to join?

After all, it was clear that everyone in Fairy Tail was more or less a good person, and he also had a certain ability to become a magician, so he didn't hesitate to join, and he was accepted by the leader of Fairy Tail, who was also kind and gentle, always took care of children, Makarov Dreyar.

No, it could be said that he was a good guild leader, and his eyes were sharp enough that he could gather all powerful magicians who had all good talents.

Still, nevertheless, while he knew that it was good that he had joined the Fairy Tail, it didn't mean that he was all safe since there were many troubles in this world, such as bandits, robbers, evil magicians, cultists, and all others, so he had to master a magic.

So, which magic should he learn?

While there was a lot of magic in the Fairy Tail's library that he could learn and all magicians could more or less learn all types of magic, people's time was limited, and it was impossible to learn everything, as his talent was average, so he decided to choose a simple, yet a powerful magic, known as the "Giant."

Yes, it was a magic that was mastered by Makarov, the master of the Fairy Tail, and also the reason why he was considered one of the strongest magicians on the continent.

Still, if there was something that made him confused, Sato wondered why none of Makarov's family had learned this magic.

Regardless, as Sato wanted to learn, Makarov happily taught him since it was good to know that someone worshipped him and wanted to learn his magic.

Nevertheless, this magic was simple, as the "Giant" was just a magic that allowed the user to become a giant.

However, size is power.

As long as he grew big enough, he could more or less smash anyone, yet this was also the reason why he wasn't jealous of Sato DxD.

"...." Sato DxD.

Still, while he had a way to fight, especially after he learned the Giant, it wasn't the magic that he wanted to learn the most.

Instead, the magic that he wanted to learn the most would be "Archive," the new type of magic that involves the use of Magic Databases.

It allows the user to convert information into magical data, which can be stored, enabling the user to gain access to previously stored information, including that which is rather ancient and narrow down the location to find it, as well as information on certain people.

If he had to say, it was like the internet that was connected by using magic.

Naturally, by using this magic, he gained the knowledge of many things, transferring it directly into his mind, making him learn many things, as he only asked the person with the knowledge, and transferred it into his mind.

Frankly, only smart people could use this magic, but while he didn't think that he was the smartest, his mind was flexible, especially since he came from the modern world, so when a certain accident happened, which made him grow weaker, he decided to change his job to both crafters for magic items and potions.

The result might not have been as good as that of those who were talented, but it was good enough for him to live quite well-off, as it was rare for people, or even magicians, to learn to become crafters and/or pioneers at the same time.

As his wealth increased, he began to explore other businesses, trying all types he could think of, which led to a peaceful and stable life that continued to grow since he only tried those that he was sure would succeed.

Moreover, with all the knowledge that he got from the Archiver, he became simply a living library.

Lastly, he also had the backing of the Fairy Tail, and he was also one of the main members, considering how he grew up in the guild, so the others thought of him as a part of a family.

He might not be the richest, the most handsome, or even the strongest, but his life was good enough, and he could also become a "giant," so without a doubt, he led a life that everyone envied.

Still, when he thought that he would continue to live like that unexpectedly, he awakened his unique ability that had always been possessed by the character of a reincarnated story, which enabled him to share his ability, knowledge, talents, magics, and everything except for transferring tools or items with others.

"DxD..."

He couldn't help but think of the magic of his female friends, who had made her one of the strongest magicians in Fairy Tail.

'If he used that magic on the world of DxD...'

He felt that Sato DxD would live an even nicer life, but even so, this also made his ambition, which had long died, grow fiery, thinking that there was still a chance for him to grow stronger.

At the same time, he also got the key to becoming stronger.

Energy.

As long as he had enough energy, he could grow even stronger, and also had a chance to connect himself to another Sato, who "probably" reincarnated in another world different from DxD and Fairy Tail.

Yes, while Sato DxD did a teasing and a fendom play with his new family, Sato Fairy Tail focused on himself, trying to grow stronger, learning more about his ability, especially if he could make someone feel less guilty due to a certain accident in the past.

As he thought so, he felt his shoulder was shaken.

"Onii-chan! Wake up, Onii-chan! I have told you not to sleep at your office! It isn't good for your body!"

"..."

It felt weird when he was called this way, but as he was used to it, he opened his eyes and saw a beautiful woman with short, silver hair and a petite body, yet with two features that made it impossible to hide her womanly qualities.

"...Lisanna."

While he felt helpless from her nagging, he didn't try to complain as she cared about him, but then, he saw her stare at him in a daze.

"What's wrong? Why did you look at me like that?"

"No... no, it's just... I feel like you have become more handsome and healthy..." Lisanna felt Sato had grown more handsome and stronger.

"Is it? Have you grown to learn how to praise others now? It seems that you aren't a child anymore."

As he rubbed her head softly, Lisanna pouted and complained, "I am not a child! I have grown up! I am also legal to marry now!"

"..."

Sato couldn't deny that, but it was hard to change his idea as he grew up taking care of her.

Still, when he was about to stand up, Lisanna quickly reacted. "W-Wait! I will prepare your cane!"

"No, it's fine."

"Huh?"

Lisanna then widened her eyes as she saw him standing up straight, as if he were a healthy, strong person and had never had a disability.

"I can walk healthily now."

Yup, from now on, he can walk like others.
