Chapter 49 - Two lovers

Unlike before, when Sato hadn't gained his ability, he was so nervous about facing many things that he ignored everything in his surroundings, so that he could have a comfortable life. He knew well that, being average and an orphan, he had to put in extra effort.

After all, unlike Sato DxD, who could increase his training and study speed twice, giving a double result, or even more, Sato MHA lacked the confidence to change his life, as everything about him was just normal.

He was like Midoriya, who, despite having gained the power that made him the strongest, was still nervous, geeky, and probably was still lame somehow.

Yet, this was normal, he thought, as he was in the middle of the process of changing.

It would be weird if he suddenly thought that he could take over the world right away.

Still, without a doubt, he was in the midst of the adjustment, trying to gauge at which line he should cross and shouldn't, as to whether his overall improvement, whether it was his strength or everything, was possible for him to dominate this world.

"Are you not nervous, Suzuki-kun?"

As he was in the middle of listening to the explanation of Present Mic about the scores that the robots would give the points, Uraraka, who sat next to him, asked him a question.

Are you nervous?

That was probably the most stupid question that could be asked of Uraraka at this moment, as it was clear that she was so nervous. Her face was all smiles, yet her womanly body trembled and shivered, like a young fawn that had just been born, unsure about the world outside.

Regardless, he had no need to comfort her, but probably, he had nothing to do, so he just talked to her, "I am nervous, but I don't show it on my face."

"Really?"

Uraraka looked at him with doubt, as she could tell that he wasn't nervous at all.

"Really, really."

Yup, he wasn't nervous, since, compared to the danger that came from fighting the All-For-One and using the "Take-Over" magic on that last villain, he felt that this entrance exam was nothing at all.

Even if he failed, it also didn't matter, as even if he didn't become a hero, there were millions of times for him to make money based on the knowledge that all Sato shared.

"I just have to give my all, so all I can do is just do my best."

"Why do you want to become a hero?"

"...you asked me that?"

"Ah, if you are not okay, then you don't have to answer!"

Uraraka panicked, thinking that she had asked him a private question.

"No, it's fine." Sato didn't mind explaining his reason for becoming a hero. "My goal or purpose to become a hero isn't that grand or lofty, such as helping people or becoming the best hero..."

"Then? What do you want to do?"

"Er... I just thought that being a hero would give the most income and a comfortable life." Sato showed an awkward smile and said, "It is horrible, right?"

"No, it's not!"

"...." Everyone.

"You two over there, if you want to flirt, do it later, okay? I am still in the middle of explaining." Present Mic looked at the two helplessly.

"I-I am sorry!"

As Uraraka panicked, Sato also bowed his head to apologize.

Regardless of what had happened, she looked at his side profile, feeling comfortable for the first time, as she was afraid her purpose to become a hero wasn't quite good and had always felt inferior for it, so when she knew someone had the same idea as her, it gave her a sense of kinship, feeling closer together.

"M-Me too. I-I want to make a lot of money, so I can make my parents happy."

"Then, let's do our best together."

"Oh!"

"....." Present Mic.

Still, as the explanation finished, Midoriya turned around and felt the young woman, who had caught his attention earlier, was quite familiar.

"Is she...?"

"Stop looking at someone's girlfriend, idiot!"

"G-Girlfriend?!"

"What else do you think their relationship is?" The rude young man with spiky blonde hair snorted as he looked at Sato and Uraraka, who walked together to the changing room, ready for the practical room, feeling a bit envious as he watched how two people would work together toward their dream of becoming heroes.

"Go and explode!"

"Kacchan... that's so old..."

"Shut up!" The young man, whose name was Kacchan, snorted and murmured, "You Quirkless should have just given up rather than doing stupid things."

If Midoriya wished to enter a normal faculty at the U.A. University, he wouldn't say much, but to enter the hero department?

Didn't he just seek death?

Yet, hearing those words, Midoriya clenched his fists as his eyes were filled with determination. "I won't give up..." He had received a power from the one that he had always worshipped. That person had entrusted everything to him, and because of that, he would do his best to work hard, so he wouldn't betray that expectation, and told him that he didn't choose the wrong person!

Still, as the true lover of the MHA had their confrontation, Sato, who had changed into his sports outfit, started his workout, moving his body up and down, walking before running in a place.

His act was weird, but as everyone was a competitor, it was impossible to ask, except for Uraraka, who also happened to be in the area where his practical exam was held.

"...what are you doing, Suzuki-kun?"

"Hmm?" Sato just glanced at Uraraka, but he didn't stop his action. "It is related to my Quirk."

"Ah, I see!"

Why did he do those strange actions?

Naturally, everything related to his Quirk, so what was running in a place had something to do with his Kinesis.

"By the way, what's your Quirk, Uraraka? But it's fine if you don't want to answer."

"Ah, no, it's fine. My Quirk is Zero Gravity. I can remove gravity and make anything I touch float."

"....." Sato.

"W-What's wrong?"

"It's strong."

"R-Really? Hehehe..."

"....."

As Uraraka laughed sheepishly, feeling happy that she was being praised, Sato sighed helplessly, wondering if such a pure girl existed.

"So, what are you doing?"

"Well, you know, the gate in front of us will open soon, so those who are faster to enter the gate and destroy the robots will have a higher chance to get points, right?"

"Yes."

There were several areas for the practical exam, and all of them were created in the shape of miniature cities, which were built inside the gigantic walls that could only be entered through the metal gate before them.

As long as the gate was open, it meant that the exam had started, and by then, those who could enter first had a higher advantage.

"...so you are trying to increase your speed?"

"Yup."

How?

Before Uraraka could ask this question, Sato reminded her. "Go and focus since the exam is going to start. Instead of thinking about me, you should think about how to defeat those robots as soon as possible."

"O-Oh!"

Sato was correct; it wasn't the time for her to think about others, especially when she lacked confidence.

Yet, without a doubt, she was curious about what he would do.

"Don't get close to me later. You will be blown away."

"Huh?"

While Uraraka was confused, she followed his words. Then, as expected, what he had said before was correct, as she opened her mouth wide, as he did as the gate was opened and the teacher's announcement was made.

"START!"

"RECIPRO BURST!"

At that moment, Sato released the kinetic energy within him and burst into incredible speed, which blew everyone away!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!

Only one young man was stunned silly.

"T-THAT'S MY TECHNIQUE!"
