Chapter 1 - Getting fired

"Thank you for all you have done for our company for the past 10 years. Sadly, our company is looking to go toward a new direction with new faces on board. I am sorry, and have a wonderful evening. Good day," the hr woman had said, her name was Susan, if I remember correctly, she had a dismissive look on her face.

'I don't know why, but that really ticked me off. Why does she try to pretend that the boss cares or that she does? I'm actually being fired. Does she know I made a secondary backdoor in the software? No, I check they don't know, I looked up and said with a frustrated face, "Stop with your fake sentiments already, I didn't need this job. I'm very happy to leave this sh*tty workplace and tell the man on his high horse that he better use a different software because its patent is in my name. And I am taking it back, see you never" as I got up to leave but I was stopped abruptly one of the security guards put his hand on my shoulder as Susan picked up her phone and started calling someone maybe her boss not that I cared so I said "What scared that I will sell the software to someone else? Oh, the horror." While rolling my eyes.

Susan glared at me and said, "I don't want to do this, but...you give me no choice," as she took out an old-looking book with a unique-looking pen and began to write. The book glowed ominously, then suddenly, Susan collapsed as if her mind was shattered.

"Um... Susan, did you just give yourself a brain aneurysm because I tried to walk away with my software?" I'm just baffled that she would scoop so low. I looked to the side where the guard who had his hand on me, I saw his blank expression turned to one of fear as he let go of me and walked over to Susan.

"Su...Susan, are you ok?" the guard said as he got closer to her body, which was still slumped on the chair; her eyes were rolled back. The guard reached his hand to check her pulse as soon as his hand touched her neck, she started to convulse violently. In turn, he jumped back in fear. Of course, seeing all this, I decided to snap the guard out of his stupor and tell him to "call the ambulance, are you stupid?" while snapping my fingers.

The guard, I think, realized his mistake and called the emergency services as he pressed the button to call the other guards. 'Is he new? Most of the guards in this building are trained to keep calm and collected,' then I got my thoughts disrupted as I suddenly felt that I had been lifted into the air, I realized my surroundings, I was no longer in Susan's office but in the hallway outside.

"Hey, I can walk, you know, put me down," I said to the guards who were carrying me as they took me to my office space and placed me on the ground. The guard on the right said, "Take your stuff, you have five minutes." I stared at both of the guards for a second and gave a small smile, 'I know exactly what I'm going to do.' For some reason, they looked afraid, but I don't care, well, maybe do they know what I'm about to do, no, don't overthink it as I turned around to face the door, my smile widened. I know I don't usually smile, but this is going to be fun.

I went into my office and closed the door behind me so they won't see what I am about to do. Walking toward the window, I looked down, and I saw my car directly below, as I was not too far from the group, just 2 floors up, I opened the window, pulled out my car keys, and pressed the button to open the sunroof. I turned around to face my computer, plugged in my USB, and powered it on. I log in to my development app, use my backdoor to my software to automatically delete it from the company's server while saving a usable copy of the software on my USB drive, saving all the data and transactions the company made while using my software in a separate folder. It also made sure all the user accounts were unusable, while this was loading, I decided to start putting my stuff in my car, and since I basically bought everything in my office and kept my receipts, I can take everything, right? So I started unplugging every electronic device like my mini refrigerator, coffee maker, speakers, etc.. and tossed them out the window and into my car, each landing perfectly, which I found odd, but I didn't have time to think. I needed to continue. I looked over to my PC, seeing that it was almost done, so I grabbed my office chair and tossed it into my car, then grabbed a box, placed all my posters, pictures, and room decor, and tossed it out the window too. I looked around my room and saw that I only needed to put my desk, with all its items inside, into my car, oh, and my PC set up, but I needed to grab those small items on top of my desk and place them inside of it. Of course I did exactly that, what did you think I put my Pc away? not yet, cause it needs 30 seconds to finish transferring the software, so I took that time to put away those small objects. Now that I am done, I look at my computer and press the apply and save button, and press done afterwards. I looked at the time, it's been 4 mins, so I shut down my Pc and quickly took down my setup and started tossing it out the window. I started with my desktop, then my monitor, the mounts, but when I was about to grab my desk to throw it, the guard kicked open the door and yelled, "What is taking so long, Damn it!". I looked at the guard, then picked up my desk and lobbed it out the window. "What the? What are you doing?" I tear the window out of the wall and leap out the newly formed hole in the wall.

Landing inside my car somehow, I look around after confirming all the items from my old office are in my car, which they are, and I proceed to place the window in the passenger seat. Now that I'm done, I put on my seat belt like a law-abiding citizen and, of course, press the gas pedal as hard as I can.

As he sped away, the guard in charge of him looked on with shock from the hole in the wall while he watched a few others chase him on foot but give up after they saw that man drive through the main gate,e leaving a huge hole where it once stood.
