Chapter 3: The Frozen North
When Rudra opened his eyes, he was surrounded by an endless expanse of white. Snow. Bitter cold. His breath was shallow, his body numb.
> "What's happening?" he whispered. "Why is this happening to me…?"
He collapsed, unconscious, in the unforgiving snow.
Luckily, fate had not abandoned him completely. A caravan of merchants happened upon the area, their dogs barking and uneasy. They followed the trail until they found a small figure — a boy covered in blood.
One merchant, Richard Wan Taguls, lifted Rudra into his arms.
> "Doctor! Quick, we need help!"
At the nearby settlement, the doctor examined the boy, his expression grim. "His condition is critical. His organs are failing from the cold. I don't know if he'll survive…"
"There must be something we can do!" Richard pleaded.
"There is… one thing. There's a flower called Brahmakamal. A blue lotus, incredibly rare. It only grows deep in the frozen forests nearby."
Without hesitation, Richard set off into the icy wilderness.Richard had begun his journey to find the mythical blue lotus—the only hope to save the boy clinging to life. He reached a nearby town, asking locals for information wherever he could. But after hours of searching, all he had to show for it were wild guesses and empty rumors.
Frustrated and disheartened, Richard was about to give up and head back when a voice called out from a nearby alley.
"Are you looking for something, mister?"
He turned to see a woman dressed in strange, tattered robes. At first, he assumed she must be mistaking him for someone else. But as he took a step to leave, she repeated the question—this time with certainty.
"Blue lotus, yes?"
Richard froze, his eyes narrowing.
"You… how do you know?"
The old woman gave a crooked smile and pulled out an aged, faded sheet of paper from her robes.
"You're searching for something rare… something sacred. This map will lead you there."
Richard raised an eyebrow.
"Can you lend it to me?"
The woman shook her head.
"Only for twenty silver coins."
"T-Twenty silvers?!" Richard stammered.
"That's more than two months' profit for me!"
She gave a quiet chuckle.
"You're searching for something beyond ordinary. If it were cheap, it wouldn't be real."
Richard narrowed his eyes. He thought she might be a con artist, trying to exploit his desperation. He turned away.
"No thanks. I'm not that easy to fool."
But then she spoke again, her voice calm and strangely knowing.
"It's worth it… especially for the boy's sake."
Richard spun around.
"What? I never told you about the boy."
The woman only smiled.
"You didn't need to. It's written all over your face."
He hesitated. Then, reluctantly, he handed over the coins and took the old sheet.
"One last thing," the woman said as he turned to leave.
"Only the sun will show you the path."
Richard frowned but nodded and walked away. As he traveled further, he unfolded the sheet—only to find it completely blank.
"Damn it… I knew it. I've been scammed," he muttered, turning back to find the woman—
but she had vanished without a trace.
Disappointed and angry with himself, he continued walking back, the weight of his failure growing heavier with each step.
But then he remembered her last words:
"Only the sun will show you the path."
Curious, he held the sheet up to the sunlight—and suddenly, like invisible ink revealed by flame, a hidden map began to appear on the back of the page.
Richard's eyes widened.
"It's real…"
A smile broke across his face, and with renewed hope, he began his journey into the frozen wilderness—toward the bloom that could save Rudra's life.!while searching for blue Lotus. He braved wild beasts, brutal cold, and starvation. After days of perilous travel, he returned, half-frozen, clutching the shimmering blue lotus.
The doctor worked through the night, brewing a concoction from the flower.
Richerd is that boy goona be okay
Doctor hope for best but I must say that boy bestowed with good luck it's first time that someone got success to get those rare flowers even I saw tham first time in reality.
Thirteen days later, as snow piled outside, Rudra stirred for the first time.
"…I promise, Father. I will grow strong. I will get revenge."
The words sent chills through Richard. There was something more to this boy — something fierce burning beneath his broken, fragile body.
