It's been a while since we heard about the prophecy of the Purple Ninja, and what it means for Nova. (I wouldn't be surprised if some of you forgot about it. XD)
Getting some good angst here. >:3

*In the jungle, Nova is sitting on top of the tree where she had spoken with the Overlord.*
Nova let out a heavy sigh as she ran her fingers through her hair. "I can't believe I seriously made a deal with that bastard." She looked down on the ground from where she was sitting.
"I just hope to the First Spinjitzu Master, that he holds his part of the deal....if not. I at least hope the deal I added can come back to bite him in the ass." Nova went on to look at her hands. "I still don't like that he can't take back this power boost he gave me."
Nova punched a fist into the branch she was sitting on, breaking it apart with ease. Along with it turning to dust because of decay, as she used double jump to get on to another branch. "The worst part is the stupid side effects it's giving me, motherfucker really has me under his control right now. Unlocking my true potential only made it easier for him.....as he had planned from the very start....and that stupid prophecy."
Nova sighed as she thought back to the prophecy.
"Only when the darkness rises once more, shall be then, the purple ninja are to make a choice. Between darkness or light."
She then thought back to the scroll Misako read up for them about the purple ninja.
"It is said here that the Overlord once created a small shadow with his darkness and hid it away. Until it is ready to return and join him in taking over Ninjago once and for all. But when that day comes, depending on what that shadow chooses, it will unlock its true potential in darkness and be given a choice between the darkness, which would mean joining the Overlord, or the light in which the shadow will go against its creator and join the light."
"I became the purple ninja, I unlocked my true potential in the darkness that the oni cast on Ninjago City, the Overlord will return in a few years and start taking over Ninjago." Nova went over every event so far that had happened, and would happen in the future. "I hate destiny."
Tears started forming in the corner of Nova's eyes that she hadn't noticed until she felt them running down her face. "This isn't fair at all, none of this is!" She tried wiping away the tears, but they just wouldn't stop coming.
"STUPID PROPHECY, STUPID DEAL, STUPID DESTINY, STUPID LIFE, STUPID MOTHERFUCKING OVERLORD!!!" Nova screamed out in despair as the tears kept running.
Nova was so lost in her sorrow and despair, that she didn't notice her powers running wild, and was turning everything within 50 feet of her to dust or to stone. Only to be crushed by the shadows turning into large deadly spikes.
Even a few clones had come out of the shadows and gone all crazy and killed everything in sight that moved.
Nova only snapped out of it as something bright was flashing in her face, she rubbed her eyes before she took notice of the butterfly from Lloyd, had slipped out from under her hoodie and the light from the lighting was hitting it.
She gently took the necklace and held it close to herself, slowly starting to calm down.
"What have I done?" Nova first now took notice of her surroundings, and everything but the tree she was on was all gone, turned all grey with no life or even nature.
"..... Nya was right, I should have stayed back with Pixal." Nova looked down at her hands. "And I was right...my powers are a danger to anyone and everything. I thought I got control of them already, but I was wrong. I don't have control of anything, I never had in my whole life. Not in my old world and not in this one."
"And with the power boost from the Overlord, I'm only gonna become more dangerous for the team....most of all Lloyd." Nova slowly got up from where she was sitting while having the shadows and clones go back to normal. "After Sea Bound, I'm gonna need some space away from everyone..... I could maybe go and see Sensei Garmadon, have him help me get back the control of my powers."
Nova put the necklace back under her hoodie when both of the clones she had sent out, had now returned with info on where everyone else was at the moment.
Nova took a deep breath before she turned on her mask, that way the others couldn't see that she had been crying, let alone if her eyes changed color. "Better meet up with Lloyd before he heads out."
*In a cave, Lloyd puts on camouflage.*
"What's that for?" Twitchy asked.
"Camouflage." Lloyd answered, looking over at him.
"You're going out there? Are you nuts?" said Twitchy.
"I don't have a choice, Twitchy. My friends need me, and I could use all the help I can get." said Lloyd until they heard movement.
"Survival mode!" Twitchy quickly curled into a ball.
"Heard you needed help, greenie." Nova was leaning against the entrance of the cave while wearing her mask.
"Nova!" Lloyd quickly rushed over and pulled her into a hug. "Thank the First Spinjitzu Master, that you are okay, I was so worried about you after we got separated."
Nova let out a sigh and a giggle as she returned the hug before pulling away. "It takes more than three Golems to take me down."
"Wait, why are you wearing your mask? I don't think that is gonna help much in hiding in this jungle." said Lloyd, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Well we can't all here be the green ninja, and be the right colors to hide in a fucking jungle." Nova started poking at his chest with each word.
"Okay, okay I get it. Should have thought that more through." Lloyd chuckled as he gently took the hand that was poking him.
"What's all that for? Camouflage?" Twitchy asked, looking at Lloyd and then over at Nova.
"Oh great." Lloyd groans in annoyance, to which Nova lets out a giggle.
"You're going out there? Are you nuts?" Twitchy repeated.
"Twitchy! I get it. You've been knocked down a lot. But that doesn't mean you have to stay down. You're stronger than that." Lloyd and Nova exit the cave, leaving Twitchy Tim behind.
"Ocea, are you actually okay? Your mask might be hiding your face, but it can't hide the tone in your voice." Lloyd gave her a questionable look, whenever she was alone for a long time. She would always return in a more upset mood, from what he had been noticing so far.
".... I was worried I wouldn't be able to find any of you in this jungle. I can't use my powers, otherwise I would have found you all so much faster." Nova rubbed the back of her neck but couldn't get herself to look at him.
Lloyd had a feeling she was hiding something again, so he walked in front of her and placed a hand behind her ear, and to Nova's surprise. He was able to find the hidden button that turned off the mask, so he now clearly could see her face.
"I-You-How did you know?" Nova stared at him in disbelief, no one had ever found out how to turn on or off her mask, so for Lloyd to somehow know was a big surprise and also a shock to her.
A soft smile appeared on Lloyd's face as he moved his hand from her ear to her cheek, gently rubbing his thumb against it. "You showed me once how to turn them on and off when you were trying to fix them when Harumi broke it, and I took notice when you went to turn it on and off a few times. After that it wasn't that hard to figure out."
"You and those sharp eyes of yours, sometimes I wonder if you're just acting dumb." Nova gave a soft smile in return while slowly leaning her face against his hand.
Lloyd let out a small chuckle before his face turned more serious. "Nova, tell me what's really going on. I can see that you've been crying reasonly, you haven't cried since back at those caves."
Nova looked into his eyes before trying to look away, but he wasn't letting her as he moved his hand to her chin and had her look him straight in the eyes again. "Come on, butterfly. We both know it isn't healthy that you keep your feelings bottled up all the time."
Nova wanted to tell him everything, but she couldn't since she needed to keep her deal with the Overlord. For both of their sakes, this was her own mission. Her final mission, and she couldn't let anything ruin the plans she had in store by making that deal.
"My new arm just got stuck in the worst way, making it very painful for me. For a second there I thought I couldn't fix it, even the effect from my powers was making it worse. To the point I couldn't hold back the tears." Nova gently took his hand and removed it from her chin.
Lloyd gave her a questionable look while raising an eyebrow, not believing that was the real reason. "Nova..."
"Let's get moving already, we are wasting time here, and we need to save the others." Nova turned her mask back on as she started moving again.
Lloyd let out a sigh, but decided to drop the topic for now. "Okay."
*Some time later, in the jungle, Lloyd and Nova are making their way to the village, but find that Zippy had followed them there.*
"Oh, no. Not you again! Shoo, shoo, get, go!" Zippy pushes the coconut at Lloyd, who picks it up and throws it away, then turns around to find Zippy right in front of him with the coconut. "How - you were just -"
Nova couldn't help but let out a soft laugh at this. "Damn, he's fast."
Lloyd let out a sigh, giving a shrug. He prepares to throw it away again, but catches sight of the Keepers. "Hey guys, catch!" He uses Zippy as a distraction to get to the cells with Nova right behind him.
"Lloyd! Nova!" said Nya in relief.
"Hey guys, how's it going in there?" Nova teased.
"It's about time." said Cole.
"We got here as fast as we could, so stop complaining." Nova crossed her arms.
"Oh, Lloyd." said Misako, relieved to see him.
"Mom, Master Wu! Are you okay?" Lloyd asked.
"Fine, fine." said Misako smiling at him.
"Well, let's get out of here. This place is crawling with islanders. We gotta go quick." said Lloyd.
"We can't go anywhere without Jay." said Nya.
"I had a feeling we were missing someone, that explains the peaceful silence." said Nova.
The others gave her an annoyed look, though Kai and Cole did share a short nod that the others didn't notice.
"Well, where's Jay?" Lloyd asked.
"We don't know. They took him somewhere else." said Wu.
"Why? Actually, no. We don't have time. Let's just find him." Lloyd turns to the explorers. "You guys head for camp, get the catamarans ready." He turns to the others. "You check that way, Nova and I will check this way." As they split up, Clutch stays back and pulls Dwayne in another direction.
*As the ninja search the village, Zippy distracts the Keepers and causes chaos. Later, they regroup, but no one has found Jay yet, and Clutch is missing as well.*
"You're kidding. Nothing?" said Lloyd.
"No sign. And we looked everywhere!" said Nya.
"What happened to Clutch?" Lloyd asked.
"Wait, where's Nova?" Zane asked.
"Oh, great, now we're missing more people." said Cole.
"You don't think he'd be foolish enough to go back for that artifact?" Kai asked.
"Even Clutch isn't that reckless. Is he?" said Nya.
Everyone looked at each other until Lloyd spoke up on what everyone else was thinking. "Nova went after him!"
*At the throne room, Clutch takes out the Amulet while standing on Dwayne.*
"Hold still, Dwayne!" said Clutch.
"You stupid idiot! Put that Amulet right back where you took it!" Nova growled as she was holding her bow ready to shoot him.
"Clutch! Don't!" shouted Lloyd arriving with the rest. "And Nova, put down your weapon."
Nova felt another headache as she sent a cold glare towards Lloyd, but he couldn't really see it because of the mask. "F̵̮̾͗̈̕i̴̗̻͒́n̵̨̢̤͉͐͑̏͠e̶̡̥̙̜͒͜."
" Leave it." said Cole looking up at Clutch.
"This is a valuable cultural artifact! It deserves to be studied, at my place." said Clutch.
"If you wanna k̴̬̞̮͉̲͑̈́͛̍͝e̷̜͂͛̆͘͝e̸̝̩͇̓̃̈̑p̸̨͈͕̠̈́̀̑͜͠ your eyes, you better f̷͕̫̌̈ṳ̶̏́c̸̩̜̿̎k̵̂́ͅí̸͎n̸̹̓̓g̶̻͒̀ put it back right now!" Nova growled as her fingers under her gloves changed into claws.
"Nova, calm down!" Lloyd went on to grab Nova's wrist, stopping her from doing anything stupid.
"We don't have time! Leave it!" shouted Nya.
"I am inclined to agree. Any second the Keepers are likely to -" The Keepers goes on to electrocute them all.
"Gumdrops." mumbled Clutch.
*The ninja wake up to find themselves tied on poles on the beach.*
"Oh boy." said Lloyd, slowly waking up to see that he was hanging upside down.
"I'm getting really tired of your bad luck of getting captured, affecting me too." said Nova.
"I'm getting a little tired of being zapped." said Nya.
Someone throws a spear at Cole and Nova's pole, zapping them.
"Me too." said Cole.
"What the fuck man! I swear if my right arm are b̷̩͙̼͋͊̄̽r̵͍̎̋̅͗ỏ̸͇̲͎̖k̷̡̧͖̆͗̚͠͝ě̴̟̳̇̄̈́̕n̵͍̆͊̒̀ after this! I'm gonna m̴͔̲͌u̴̧̙̓́r̶̺͆̀ḏ̸̥̎ė̴̡̆͜r̸͉̰̔̄ someone!" Nova growled.
The Keepers pass by with Jay on a palanquin. "Jay!" Nya shouted out.
"Nya! Master Wu!" shouted Jay in joy.
"Where are they taking you?" Lloyd asked.
"To his death." said Nova.
The others looked over at her with a cold glare.
"I'm just gonna shut my mouth." said Nova, not wanting them to really think that was the case of her telling the truth.
"I have no idea! But it's okay. They don't wanna hurt me, they want me to be their king! They keep calling me "Gift of Jay" and giving me things." said Jay excited.
"Uh, then why are your hands tied up? That makes no sense!" Nya questioned.
"Well, since you're on such friendly terms, could you maybe get them to let us go?" Cole asked.
"And tell them to stop zapping us!" said Kai.
Nova gave a slight nod, since she wasn't sure how much of her arm was actually broken right now, from all of the zapping.
"Oh, good idea! I'll try. Ahem. Guys? Okay, Gift of Jay wants you to untie his friends, okay?" said Jay, trying to convince the Keepers.
"Why are they putting you on a raft?" Lloyd asked.
"I don't think they want to give you anything, Jay. I think you're the gift." said Misako.
"Me? No, how can I be a gift?" Jay asked.
"Yeah. Who'd want Jay?" Kai asked.
A small snicker escaped from Nova as she was trying to hold in a laugh.
"Um, me?" Nya answered while sending a cold glare towards Kai and Nova.
"Keepers, hear me!" Mammatus realizes that the Keepers cannot see him, so his servant gives him a stool, which he stands on. "Ahem. Long before time had a name, we were charged with protecting this world from the wrath of Wojira."
"Wojira!" shouted the Keepers.
"Wojira?" Lloyd questioned.
"An ancient myth, a storm spirit. Some cultures believe it was a giant serpent." Misako went on to explain.
"For countless generations, we have fulfilled our duty as the First Spinjitzu Master tasked us." Wu gasps. "Now, for reasons we know not, Wojira awakens. Wojira rises! So we send her this gift, the Gift of Jay!" said Mammatus.
"Wojira!" shouted the Keepers.
"To placate her anger, we pray Wojira will take this gift, and go back to sleep." said Mammatus.
"Uh, guys? Come on, this isn't funny!" shouted Jay.
"Jay? Jay, hold on!" shouted Nya.
"Let us go!" shouted Lloyd.
"You're making a huge mistake!" shouted Cole.
"We need to do something!" shouted Nova.
"We're friends, remember? I'm Gift of Jay!" shouted Jay.
"Guys, relax. This whole Wojira thing, it's a myth! It's not real." said Clutch.
"Shut it Clutch, before I fucking make you!" Nova growled.
"Whoa! What's that? Guys? Guys? There's something out here. There's something big out here! Aah!" shouted Jay in fear.
"I guess someone did want Jay." said Kai.
