Chapter 21 - The Empire Bleeds

"Revolutions don't start with fire. They start with fear dying quietly in the hearts of the broken."

06:00 AM – Drone Surveillance Feed, Above Bangalore

The city looked the same.

People walking.Markets opening.Traffic crawling.

But underneath that surface?

A silent detonation.

Every screen lit up with real Crown footage.

Whistleblowers long erased.Trial videos sealed in vaults.Original Red X reports from five years ago.

The city had been lied to.

Zayen's father wasn't a traitor.

He was betrayed.

Zayen wasn't a killer.

He was programmed to become one.

But he escaped the script.

Now?

He was rewriting it.

Underground Crown Facility – Emergency Lockdown Level

Kabir and Neha moved like ghosts through the panic.

Guards fled.Doors were sealed.AI cores were melting from inside — infected by the Phoenix Protocol Kabir had unleashed.

They reached the command center.

On the central monitor:

CASSANDRA SYSTEM CORE: FAILINGIDENTITY OVERLAY: NEUTRALIZEDSTATUS: RED X — NO LONGER CONTROLLED

The city's AI grip had shattered.

Crown's biggest weapon — public perception — gone.

Neha looked at Kabir.

"You were their best tool."

He replied without smiling.

"Now I'm their last nail."

Zayen & the Clone – Inside Crown's Highest Tower, Top Floor

The clone stood before a final terminal.

If he pressed the key, every remaining trace of Red X could be wiped.

He looked at Zayen.

Zayen didn't speak.

The clone typed slowly.

Then stopped.

"If I do this, I die."

Zayen nodded.

"So did I. A long time ago."

But he took the clone's hand.

Together, they pressed the key.

Not to delete.To broadcast.

Everything.All the files.Crown's blueprints.Clone experiments.The names.The deaths.The truth.

Sent to every device.

07:09 AM – Across India

The broadcast rippled.

From Kashmir to Kanyakumari. From boardrooms to tea stalls. From firewalls to living rooms.

The story of Red X became public domain.

And for the first time in history…

The myth wasn't owned. It belonged to the people.

08:12 AM – Kabir's Last Message

A new file dropped anonymously.

A voice-only recording.

"My name is Kabir Sharma. For years, I was a blade in the hand of liars.Today, I break. If I vanish after this, don't look for me.Red X was never a killer. But I was.And I have one last mission — to erase the real enemy."

He ends with coordinates.

But by the time authorities reach the location — he's gone.

Zayen – Disappeared

No trace.

The real one?

The clone?

No one knows.

But people start to wear chalk checkmarks on their jackets.

Graffiti of a red X appears across skyscrapers.

And late one night, on a digital billboard:

"Truth is a weapon. I just made it yours.— RΞD X"

Book Two ends. The city breathes. But far beyond the skyline…

Something watches.
