Chapter 3 - chapter 3Bloodfire and Lilies

Rehani returned home. The palace stood atop a hill, seeming to merge with the sky, like a piece of heaven. Rows of crimson-clad maids lined the surroundings, each step they took adding to the royal splendor.

Rehani entered her room and sat on the grand sofa, trying to calm herself. Yet, the red aura surrounding her did not fade. A gentle breeze lifted her hair, and her red cloak spread behind her. Slowly, she attempted to regain control.

At that moment, a maid entered, holding a crimson message. Rehani looked at it in astonishment. The message read:

"Do not fear, Master. The flames of blood will melt the skies. All those in white shall perish. The golden fountains shall be destroyed. Then you shall die and return home."

Rehani's eyes widened. The red aura around her flared brighter. Her hair lifted in the breeze, the red cloak trailing behind her. The maids trembled in fear.

Her father entered, offering calm reassurance.

"What's happening, my daughter?"

Rehani cried out,

"I can't control myself. I've seen a vampire."

Her mother came closer.

"What happened, darling?"

Her father laughed softly after a moment. Rehani, frustrated, gave them a farewell glance and lay down on the sofa.

In her dream, she returned to her childhood. A boy with a red jewel in his hand approached, offering her a flower. When she cried, a white cat came to comfort her. A gentle smile spread across Rehani's face. That boy's name was Jhow Kim Sim.

Scene cut: Jhow Kim Sim sits alone. Behind him, maids fan the air. He smiles, thinking of Rehani, imagining a kiss in his heart.

Next scene: Rehani sits atop a grand royal swing on the rooftop. Six maids fan the air with crimson feathers. Red curtains flutter in the wind. She smiles, and the shadow of phoenix wings looms behind her. Her red gown is grand, royal, and blazing like fire.

A maid approaches and says,

"The Korean prince invites you."

Rehani realizes who it is. After the maid leaves, she thinks aloud,

"I agree. Tonight… we will meet."

Rehani readies herself in a red, China-style royal gown. Her back is bare, her hair flowing freely, and she sits in a majestic palanquin. The palanquin sways lightly in the breeze.

Scene cut: On the balcony stands Kim. Rehani notices his hair, once short, now grown long. Behind him, dark wings appear. There is no red cloak. He slowly approaches, embraces Rehani, and kisses her forehead.

Behind Rehani, crimson phoenix wings unfurl, blazing like fire. She laughs and hugs Kim tightly. He gently smooths her hair.

Rehani and Kim stand under the red moonlight. Suddenly, they both laugh. Their laughter breaks through fear and emptiness, spreading like a blessing.

Kim steps closer, holding a single flower—a spider red lily. Smiling softly, he places the flower near Rehani's ear. Startled, she gently reacts.

Kim says,

"This isn't just a flower, Rehani… it's the beginning of our story."

Rehani smiles faintly,

"I understand… and I love it."

Kim gently takes her hand. A shadow of worry crosses his face as he says,

"Rehani… I am a king of the night. I cannot step out during the day. Will your parents accept our relationship?"

Rehani stays silent for a moment, then exhales softly,

"I know it's not easy. You are a king of the night, I am human. But our feelings are real. As long as we stay by each other's side, no obstacle can stop us."

Kim nods slowly.

"I just want to see you safe. I don't want your parents to suffer for us. I want us to be together… but will everyone accept it?"

Rehani looks into his eyes with unwavering determination.

"Our love is true… and true love surpasses all obstacles. For now, let's just enjoy this moment."

Kim pulls Rehani into a tight embrace. The sky is calm, the red moon shines bright, and the gentle fragrance of the flower drifts around them. They both know challenges will come in the future, but at this moment, they are together—and there is no fear.

Rehani and Kim stood together on the balcony, bathed in the light of the crimson moon. Around them, there was silence—only the soft breeze, the faint rustle of phoenix wings, and the lingering scent of flowers.

Kim spoke softly,

"Rehani… I am the king of the night. I cannot step into the daylight. Do you think everyone will accept our love?"

Rehani looked at him and smiled,

"If love is true, no obstacle can stop it. I want to be by your side."

Kim remained silent for a moment, then handed her a flower—the Spider Red Lily, placing it gently near her ear. The crimson reflection of the moon lit up her eyes.

Rehani smiled,

"This is the beginning of our story."

That night, Rehani sat alone in a hidden gallery of the palace. Suddenly, a scent of fire filled the air. Behind her, her phoenix wings unfurled, and her red aura grew brighter. She sensed Kim's presence.

Kim appeared—tall, mysterious, with dark wings spreading behind him. He approached Rehani slowly, extending his hand to touch her. They stood together under the red moon, enveloped in their emotions.

Kim spoke suddenly,

"Rehani, dangers await us. Vampires… creatures of the night… many will try to stop us. But I will stay by your side."

Rehani smiled softly,

"I know. As long as we are together, nothing is to be feared."

That night, they sat quietly, holding each other's hands, admiring the crimson moon above and the red petals floating in the wind. The phoenix wings behind Rehani spread like a wall of fiery red, shielding them from every fear and obstacle.

The next day, Rehani ventured into the palace's hidden library, seeking the ancient knowledge of her phoenix powers and the origin of her red aura. Kim stood by her side, guiding her, protecting her, teaching her how to control her growing strength.

And so, the story continued—a tale of romance, mystery, phoenix magic, and the dangerous world of the Night King, Kim, where love and power intertwined.
