Nora's eyes stretched as she looked at Ian. "What was he doing here, he clearly said he won't come, well she never actually told him about where she was going," she thought. She sat down in front of me, glanced at him, her eyes questioning him. "I hope you don't mind? Ian decided to tag along," Zach said when he caught her eyes.
"You guys can have a conversation, now you have a date. You should order, waitress over here," Zoe beckoned to the waitress, while she passed the menu to Nora who was sitting stiffly beside Ian.
"What would you like to order?" The waitress asked politely. "I would like some buttered pecan ice cream and some cupcakes please," she replied softly. The waitress nooded and left to get the order.
"You must be Nora, everyone in my class talks about you, I must say, you are very pretty," Eddie, Jasmine date said looking at Nora as if she was a delicious meal. "Thanks," she replied curtly and she glanced at Ian who was in front of her.
"Here you go," the waitress came back with Nora's order. "Thank you."
"Urgh..I wish I was eighteen already then I can drink as much beers as I can," Jasmine grumbled.
"You can always drink it without anyone knowing," Eddie suggested
"Ohh, Eddie I wish I could but I have a very strict friend and I'll die if I ever try it,_ Jasmine sighed as she glanced at Zoe.
"That's a bad thing to say Eddie, you better not think of doing it or else I'll fork your eyes out," Zoe frowned.
"Yes mom," Jasmine saluted while Zach chuckled. They all started talking to their partners except Ian and Nora and she was starting to feel uncomfortable both from Eddie's gaze and Ian's glare which she was not sure was directed at her, so she decided to excuse herself and go to the restroom asking for direction from the waitress.
Eddie looked at Nora's retreating back and bit his lips, Ian noticed this and his eyes narrowed. Eddie looked at Ian and smirked before looking at Jasmine.
In the restroom, Nora splashed water on her face and she looked at the mirror, this guy was so hellbent on making her miserable, why did he have to be everywhere, he clearly said no when she asked so why now and she splashed more water on her face before taking the tissue beside the sink to clean her face and she applied lip balm on her lips before putting it back in her bag, she was about to leave when she heard the door click.
"I need to use the restroom babe, I'll be right back," Eddie said before perking Jasmine on her cheek then he stood up to go to the toilet. He came to stand in front of the female restroom and he looked around before entering then he locked the door.
Nora looked at the person that entered and the hair on her skin rose as if to warn her of something. She tried to shake it off then she smiled, "You must have missed your way Eddie, this is the ladies restroom.
Eddie chuckled, "Hey Nora, did anyone ever tell you that are so beautiful, more beautiful than your friend Jasmine?" He asked ignoring what she said earlier. He moved closer to Nora grinning. Nora soon realized that he was up to something she quickly ran to the toilet stall close to her but he was faster than her and he dragged her with her hair.
"Let go of me," she screamed so loud but at the same time a loud music filled the whole place.
"Scream as much as you want, no one is going to hear you, I told the waitress I saw to play some music. That is the power of money, now be a good girl and let have a little chat, what do you say?" He laughed like a maniac.
"They will notice I've been gone for long and they will come look for me," Nora said still struggling to loosen his grip on her hair as she looked at him fearlessly but deep down her heart was pounding out of fear. She spotted a mop close to her and she tried to grab it but Eddie realized what she was about to do and he dragged her by her hair and pushed her to the floor and she fell down.
At the table, Ian couldn't sit still, he decided to go look for Nora. He had a feeling something bad had or was going to happen.
"Could you please call Eddie when you are coming back?" Jasmine asked and Ian only nodded.
"What's taking Nora so long?" Zoe asked looking worried. "I'm sure she will be fine," Jasmine said.
"I just wanted us to talk you crazy bitch, you think you are smart, well you are not. I told you to be good but look at you," Eddie said as he roughly grabbed Nora's hair and she winced in pain as she felt something drip from her head.
Nora chuckled, "You dimwit, this is a public place do you think someone will not come to the restroom ever again and my friends are there, they will notice I've been gone for too long."
"Hmm..that's true but I locked the door and there is a sign that the restroom is being repaired because of some reasons so no one will be coming soon," he retorted.
He looked down at her lips, "Look at your sassy lips, making me want to smooch them but I'm a good person I don't play rough," Eddie laughed and Nora spat on his eyes. He put his second hand on his eyes and put it in his mouth.
"Your saliva taste good, I wonder how your lips will taste," and he put his finger on her lips and she bit him hard making him yelp in pain and he smashed her head on the door again, standing up.
"You are only going to make things hard for yourself," he said as he walked towards the sink and suddenly there was a knock on the door and Nora quickly ran to the door and opened it but before she could run out Eddie pulled her back and held her mouth to prevent her from shouting but the door was already opened so the person at the other side opened it with a kick and to Nora's delight and Eddie's horror it was Ian. Before he could think of anything a punch came flying on his face and he fell releasing his grip on Nora's hand and she quickly ran to the other side but she didn't leave.
"Leave Nora, now," Ian said coldly as his cold blue eyes pierced into Eddie's soul...
