"What?"
Kaso thought he'd misheard. He rubbed his ear and looked at Whis with disbelief.
Whis gave him a mild, amused glance but repeated seriously,
"I'd like to take the little girl to the Realm of the Gods of Destruction for training."
Kaso froze.
He wasn't being dramatic. This was a big deal.
In the world of Dragon Ball, angels like Whis were not just attendants to the Gods of Destruction. They were their teachers, supervisors, and handlers — divine beings of untouchable neutrality, forbidden to intervene in mortal affairs or choose sides.
Angels did not train mortals.
The only exceptions Kaso could remember were Goku and Vegeta. And those two were… well, Goku and Vegeta.
So if an angel offered to train someone...
There could be only one reason:
That person was being considered as a candidate for God of Destruction.
Kaso's heart skipped a beat. His expression lit up for a moment — then he forced himself to calm down.
If Ausbi'er really became a God of Destruction Candidate, that status alone would bring unimaginable benefits.
For starters, it would elevate her standing above virtually every mortal in the universe. Even Frieza would think twice before crossing the Saiyans — after all, who would dare offend a race backed by a future God of Destruction?
That was just the short-term advantage.
But Kaso had also long suspected that Saiyans — especially ones like himself and Ausbi'er — had extraordinary bloodlines. Their power grew not just with training, but in proportion to the threats they faced. In Dragon Ball GT, the Saiyans even unlocked Super Saiyan 4, a transformation beyond imagination.
Kaso believed he and Ausbi'er could eventually reach that level — or even surpass it — on their own.
But if Ausbi'er could learn from Whis?
If she could master techniques like Ultra Instinct?
Then she'd leap light-years ahead of the curve.
Kaso's expression turned serious.
"Does Lord Beerus know about this?"
Whis smiled.
"He has no objections."
He shot Kaso a knowing glance — so the kid did understand what this meant. Good. That saved him from having to explain the whole divine hierarchy.
Kaso let out a soft breath.
"In that case… we should ask Ausbi'er."
"Hmm?"
The little girl was still slurping down noodles, looking up with sauce on her cheeks.
"You called me, Big Brother Kaso?"
"…"
Both Kaso and Whis stared at her, speechless.
She hadn't heard a word of their conversation.
What a dummy.
Whis cleared his throat and smiled warmly.
"Young lady, would you like to become stronger?"
"Yes!!"
Ausbi'er nodded furiously, her face instantly serious.
She still remembered how Kaso had once been beaten bloody by Nappa just to protect her.
She hated being weak. She hated being a burden.
No matter how hard she trained, she still couldn't keep up with Kaso.
But she never gave up.
She wanted to protect him, just like he'd always protected her.
"I can train you," Whis said gently. "If you come with me, you might grow strong enough to surpass Kaso. But you won't be able to return here for a very long time. Are you willing?"
Ausbi'er blinked.
Then turned her gaze to Kaso.
She didn't want to leave him.
But the fire in her Saiyan blood began to burn.
Kaso met her eyes and smiled.
"Whatever you decide, I'll support you."
He already knew her answer.
"I want to go!"
Ausbi'er clenched her fists and turned to Whis with burning determination.
She loved Kaso, but…
She needed power. For him.
To be worthy of standing at his side.
Kaso ruffled her hair.
She was eleven now. Same as him.
It was time to let go a little.
"Here. Take this."
He handed her a capsule from his pocket.
"It's got an entire warehouse full of your favorite cup noodles."
Ausbi'er's eyes lit up.
"Wow!! Big Brother Kaso, you're the best!!"
She practically snatched the capsule from his hand, instantly forgetting her hesitation.
Kaso: "…"
Whis: "…"
Did she just forget her big emotional goodbye over food?
Before she could change her mind, Whis raised his staff.
"Farewell for now, Kaso. We'll meet again."
In a flash of divine light, Whis and Ausbi'er vanished from Planet Sadala.
The house fell quiet.
Kaso stood still, his mind drifting through memories.
They had come so far.
From wandering through the cosmos… to building a home… to saying goodbye.
He clenched his fists.
"Power…"
A low roar echoed across the sky.
His energy surged upward like a tsunami.
The air twisted. Space groaned.
The sky split with a sound like glass shattering.
All of Planet Sadala trembled under his pressure.
All over the planet, Saiyan and Lolita detectors screamed with alarm.
"Power level… 300,000…"
"…500,000…"
Then—
Boom. Boom. Boom.
Detectors exploded across the planet.
Just a year ago, Philiya had designed new detectors that could measure up to 500,000 power level.
And now?
They were all junk metal.
All around the cities, Saiyans leapt into the air, eyes wide.
"Is it… an invasion?!"
"No… it's coming from…"
"It's from Kaso!"
Realizing that, they slowly descended again.
If it was him, then there was nothing to worry about.
They were in good hands.
