Where It All Begins

About a billion years into the future...

The human race has come a long way. After surviving cosmic wars, forging interdimensional alliances, and pushing its limits beyond comprehension — humanity now proudly stands among the Top 10 most powerful races in the entire multiverse.

---

Alhuwalia Clan – Genesis Vault

In the heart of the Alhuwalia Empire lies the Genesis Vault — a sacred chamber where children of elite bloodlines are tested for their hidden potential.

Today, dozens of clan families had gathered. Hope, pride, and anxiety hung thick in the air. One by one, parents watched their children place their hands on the glowing Potential Orbs, waiting for fate to speak.

...measuring potential...

Congratulations. Your child holds Galactic-Class Bloodline Purity.

Crowd:

"Whoa! A Galactic-level bloodline?! That family just hit the jackpot!"

The parents burst into tears, hugging their child tightly.

"We're proud of you, son. So proud."

---

At the far end, seated calmly on a throne of obsidian alloy, was Ashok Alhuwalia — the clan's current president. His eyes barely moved. He gave a small smile and spoke just one word:

"Next."

A young boy stepped forward.

Name: Moon.

Age: just 8.

Eyes full of fear, heart full of confusion.

He slowly placed his trembling hand on the Blue Orb.

...measuring potential...

Failed.

Gasps filled the hall.

"Wait… Did it fail because his potential is too high? Like… Universal-level?!"

Ashok raised an eyebrow.

"Bring the Red Orb."

Moon, still shaking, obeyed. He placed his hand again.

...measuring potential...

Failed. No readings detected.

For the first time, Ashok's eyes sparkled. A sly, almost greedy smile spread across his face.

"Bring the Black Orb."

He didn't blink.

The red orb was removed. The black one — rarely used, feared by many — was brought in.

Moon stepped up again. One last time.

...measuring potential...

Failed. Nothing. Not even a spark.

Ashok's face dropped. The smile twisted into silent fury.

---

Crowd:

"Wait… isn't this the orphan whose parents died on a failed mission?"

"Like father, like son. Useless."

Laughter echoed.

"He has a twin brother, doesn't he? Bring him."

Ashok ordered coldly.

Moon's twin brother, Kai, entered.

Unlike Moon, Kai's face was blank — emotionless.

He placed his hand on the Black Orb.

...measuring potential...

Failed.

Silence.

Ashok stood up.

"Get these filthy brats out of here. I will not let the Alhuwalia name be tainted by cursed blood.

Their parents already disgraced the clan by dying with stolen resources. Now these two show up with zero potential? Disgraceful."

The crowd nodded in approval.

Moon and Kai stood frozen. Their eyes welled up.

Orphaned at just five, mocked ever since, beaten, starved, shoved aside like they never mattered.

Their parents — Jacob and Tanya — were once respected warriors in the side family, loyal guards who died secretly serving Ashok's own mission.

But no one remembered that.

And now... even the little they had was being ripped away.

They were dragged like trash to the slums — exiled, abandoned, and left to rot.
