The pack house was a few 100 kilometers away but due to their super speed the time consumed would reduce drastically. As soon as Dai reached the main gate of the pack house she saw Katie her PA who swore an oath to her father to take care of her and the pack forever so she could be considered Dai's beta "Katie stats" Dai said pushing open the big Iron gate by a strong force that sent It crumbling "Boss you should not go In there, I heard from inside sources that a we have been ambushed by rogues and they've set most of the pack house on fire and also village samaria was burnt to ashes over 5 million wolfs lost In casualties" Katie reported as Dai made her way to the main hall "why would they suddenly attack" Dai muttered more to herself than to Katie as she pushed open the doors but what she saw next left her scarred for the rest of her life, Her face turned as pale as a sheet of paper as a horrific scene was in front of her, Raging flames everywhere most pillers has turned to ash it's a surprise that the building hadn't even collapsed yet but what affected her the most was that in the middle of all the chaos was her parents. Her mom was lying in a pool of her own blood and her dad was facing her with a knife through his chest "Run....d....dai" Alpha Damon said weakly before collapsing heavily on the ground "DAD!! MOM!! No!!" Dai screamed as her knees gave way, she collapsed tears pouring repeatedly out of her eyes when she noticed someone standing calmly at the edge. Dai raised her head to get a good look at the person so inhumane as to stand and watch her parents their Alpha and Luna getting murdered but who she saw left her with mixed feelings of anger, disappointment and shock "L...L....Linglin w...w....why?!?!" Dai asked her sadness overwhelming her other emotions but before he didn't answer he just lowered his head and Dai felt overcome with anger same with Katie" you Dog what do you mean by this?? Why would you chose to be a traitor and betray our Alpha and Luna. they took you in when your family was wiped out by rogues but now you are siding with your parents killers??!!! have you no dignity??" Katie said through gritted teeth as she convinced herself not to act rash as the palace was crawling with rogues and her top priority was to keep their future Luna safe "I never wronged you Lin why.... I considered you one of my most trusted friend, my most trusted aid..." Dai asked feeling extremely weak as she was overwhelmed by this sudden wave of continuous bad news and events all in one day "I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU" Dai said putting emphasis on every word. Linglin felt shocked by the coldness in Dai's gaze he involuntarily shivered as he had never seen this side of her all he had ever witness was her smiles and laughs but now she looked haggared the spark in her eyes had dimmed greatly, This version of Diamond shook Linglin fiercely It was like a wake up call for him "What have my parents ever done to you that you had to kill them??? Dai wailed pitifully while Katie was fighting off some rogues to clear a path for them to escape but then the Rogue Head that killed her parents was heading towards the wailing Dai with a dagger "DAI behind you!!" Katie shouted with all her might intending to snap Dai out of her trance but it was already too late the Rogue Head was already to close for Dai to react In time Dai closed her eyes ready to join her parents ..... but after a few minutes of feeling nothing Dai opened her eyes to see another shocking sight......... "L....Li...Lin n..... n.... no" Dai stammered as she saw Linglin had taken the knife for her "I'm so.. sorry D.. Dai... I... I was clouded by g.. greed but you have to LIVE AND FIGHT, FIGHT TO AVENGE YOUR PARENTS" Linglin said with as much strength as he could muster before he coughed up a large chunk of blood, "L...Lin" Dai called speechless as she saw him smile at her he touched her hair and said "Forgive me" with that he collapsed lifeless. Dai was awaken at that moment and her pupils turned into a bright shade of gold as she transformed into her huge wolf sihe detached the Rogue Head head from his body before killing all the rogues in the hall, she howled loudly in anger, anguish, pain, sadness.... her howl was filled with a strong sense of anger and reluctance but she snapped out of it when Katie reminded her that It's best to flee as the rogues came prepared suppressing her intense rage for rogues she ran, she ran with Katie fleeing into the woods.
As they passed the lake Dai felt a pull, something drawing her towards the shimmering lake, Katie gave Dai a look that said "GO BUT BETTER BE QUICK" when she saw Dai hesitate. Dai howled lightly before running straight for the lake "Dazemond" she called after changing to her human form not knowing Katie followed her and was hiding not far away "Dai" Dazzy called without looking at her his eyes fixed intently on the lake as he backed her, he had received the news of what happened and as much as he wanted to comfort her he knew he needed to get this over with "Dazzy I.... I have to leave a.....and I don't know when I'll come back" Dai said hesistantly "I know" Dazzy said his voice devoid of any emotion that left Dai confused "What's wrong..... Daz..." Dai asked as she was walking closer to him but he cut her off saying "Don't come near me!!" as he walked further away from her before saying "I DAZEMOND LAWSON OF THE EASTERN PARTS OF CALLISTO HEREBY SEVER THE MATE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN I AND DAIMOND CRYSTAL OF THE EASTERN PARTS". "wh...wh....what ... argh" Dai said holding her chest as she directly fell to the ground "I never loved you Dai you were just a fling to me, a challenge.... the girl so unattainable and being your mate made It easier for you to fall for my act but I hated every second of being mates with you." Dazzy said finally turning to look at Dai on the ground, A brief feeling of shock and regret passed through Dazzy when he noticed the girl that always smiled in every bad situation, the girl that fought away darkness never letting it taint her light was broken, At this moment Dai looked so weak and vulnerable as the light in her eyes diminished fully disappearing fully as if it was never there to begin with but that still didn't make Dazzy waver he kept saying the most hurtful words to Dai totally crushing her heart. meanwhile Dai felt like her soul had left her when Dazzy rejected her, she just lay on the ground whimpering like a badly wounded dog as she felt her heart shatter into a million pieces and for a moment everything around Dai froze as she thought "what's the point of life?.... when you've lost everything!!.... she should just leave life behind and go accompany her parents" but It was exactly when Dai raised her clawed paw to strike herslef that Katie appeared quickly holding Dai's hand stopping her from doing something stupid "DAI YOU CAN'T DIE HERE!! WHAT OF YOUR PARENTS EFFORT!! LINGLIN SACRIFICE!!.... YOU HAVE TO FIGHT IT... YOU HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO, SO YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO BE WEAK.. GROW THE FUCK UP"Ktie shouted snapping Dai out of her trance "TOUGH IT OUT DIAMOND CRYSTAL, YOU'RE A PURE BLOODED ALPHA WOLF" Katie said half stern half commanding. Dai used Katie's help to get up with teary eyes. she said "I DIAMOND CRYSTAL OF THE EASTERN PART OF CALLISTO ACCEPT DAZEMOND LAWSONS REJECTION" Dai saw a flash of pain and hurt In Dazemond's eyes but she did not care, her broken heart had been sucked by a vacuum and a deep dark black void replaced it "I'LL NEVER FORGET THIS BETRAYAL, WE'LL MEET AGAIN LAWSON" with that being sai Dai transformed with Katie and Took off deeper into the forest.
Dai had to endure, push forward and fight. she had to keep going but she'll never forgot what happened to her at age 16, as it was the year she majority of the people she loved and it was the beginning of a new era for DIAMOND CRYSTAL.
