Chapter 3 - Let's go home

A few weeks after the group arrived in Sans, they were currently finishing up their most recent quest. They have been working almost non-stop for something big, a house. It had helped that they all had ranked up to C rank while doing quests, and that helped them make extra money. Today was the day they were able to afford a house and since Leon's only preference was that it was outside of the city, he left choosing the the smaller details to the ladies. This was the first time since they met that he had placed his full, unwavering trust in them and none of them would allow that trust to be broken.

After viewing a few houses, they came up to one that seemed almost perfect. It had a large yard, a big kitchen, ten rooms, and a large bath. Everyone was in agreement on buying this house, but that raised more questions. Why was this seemingly perfect house for sale? When they asked the representative showing them houses, she simply replied with "Nobody likes how big it is for some reason."

In unison the girls screamed. "We'll take it!"

As they walked around their new house, they made mental notes on things that would need to be fixed, moved or changed. You could visibly see them shaking with excitement. Indeed, they were all excited to show off their find to Leon whenever he got back.

While the girls were house hunting, Leon was doing a different kind of hunting. He had accepted a job at the guild to hunt down a slime that had been attacking adventurers. This was one of the only creatures he had not had the chance to face, since the ladies were always against it.

With his curiosity about slimes completed, he completed the quest and headed back to the guild. There he found the ladies waiting for him in front of the guild. Making his way to them, he noticed someone wearing extremely shiny armor who was talking to them in extremely flirtatious voice. It was clear what he was trying to do and, for reasons unknown to him, it bothered him.

Putting himself between the ladies and this random creep, he asked the girls if they were okay and if the man was bothering them. Seeing them all nod in agreement, Leon asked the man to kindly leave.

"Sir your bothering them, so ple-". Before he could continue, the man had drawn his sword and pointed it at Leon.

"I am a member of the four heroes party!" He shouted, trying to force his status on everyone. "Get out of my way so i can have a conversation with these fine women."

The man had honestly believed that, since he was traveling with the heroes, he could get away with whatever he wanted. At this point people started to notice the commotion going on.

Sighing in a tired and irritated tone, Leon once again told the man to stop.

"Please stop talking to my wives like that before you end up pissing me off. I don't want to hurt you and accidentally damage the area."

Laughing at his words, the man mocked Leon. "I will talk to whoever i want, whenever i want. So move now, so i can take home one or more of these whor-"

With that, just like the elite goblins sword, Leon snapped the mans sword and sent him flying. Everyone was staring at the could of dust where the man landed. Well everyone other than the four standing behind Leon, who only had lust in their eyes. This was the first time he had called them his wives, and they were all extremely happy about it. Even if it was only used as a deterrent for the creep.

As the dust settled, Leon slowly made his way over to the man. He was planning to use a healing potion to alleviate the pain, since there was a massive hole in the mans chest plate. Not only did Leon flick this guy away, he was trying to hold back to not kill the guy.

Stripping the man of his armor, he lifted the mans unconscious body and proceeded to dump the potion in his mouth. Though this was the mans fault, he wouldn't learn his lesson if he died. The man coughed as he regained consciousness, asking "What just happened?".

"The consequences of your actions." Leon stated in a slightly irritated tone. He looked back to the girls, who were smiling brightly.

As he walked back to them Becca asked, in a sarcastic tone. "I thought you didn't care about us?"

Leon shook his head. "Of course i care about you, but your not my property. If you decide to move on to something you deem better than you can. However, i would still burn this world to the ground to protect those important to me."

Hearing what they wanted to hear, the ladies started giggling and rushing Leon back to show off the house they had bought while he was gone. Wondering why they were all giddy, he realized he had called them his wives in the heat of the moment, and that there was no chance for him to get actual sleep for the next few nights.

As they walked towards the house, Lynnette told everyone to stop. She grabbed the other ladies hands, then turned to face Leon. In a soft and loving voice she said "Lets go home."

Leon smiled at the four standing in front of him. This had been the first time in along time that he had an actual place to call home. He made eye contact with all of them and returned the line. "Lets go home."

Roughly a week after the incident at the guild, life seemed to become peaceful to Leon and the ladies. As he was grilling meat for dinner, ho hear pounding on the front door. Looking out the window, he could see a large group of people standing in their yard waiting.

He opened the door, and a man in front stepped forward and started introducing himself.

"I am Lou Xian, one of the four heroes summoned to this world. Are you the one who took a cheap shot at one of my party members?" From the tone in his voice, Leon could tell this would not go well. "That would mean you are also the man who brainwashed four women and had your way with them."

As Leon scanned the group, he locked eyes with the man he had sent flying.

"Listen, I'm not saying any of that is true, but what if it was true?"

Hearing that, the man flew into a rage and drew his sword. "Release those women now or else, you vile piece of shit." The man screamed.

Sensing the tension in the air, another of the four stepped forward to ease the situation.

"Put your sword away! All your going to do is make this situation worse."

She turned towards Leon and apologized. "I am sorry, he has a habit of jumping to conclusions. My name is Lexia Brightman, also one of the four heroes."

Without breaking eye contact with Lou, he introduced himself to everybody. "My names Leon Smith. If your four would like to come in and talk, then i can clear this up while my wives cook dinner."

Lou sheathed is sword and followed the group inside. Closing the door Leon called out to the ladies to come and meet the heroes party.

They all made their way to the living room, as the ladies stood by the door. Leon started to introduce them. "This is Rebecca, Carla, Efil, and Lynnette. These four are my wives. As for what you came here for, your party member was trying to use his position to get into their pants. I asked him to leave nicely and he attempted to call them whores."

"What do you mean attempted?" Lexia asked

Carla stepped forward and explained. "Leon sent that asshole flying after insult not only him but us as well."

Efil stepped forward to continue. "He was warned several time to leave us alone. even before Leon showed up."

Lynnette, adding to the conversation, crossed her arms and said "He could have killed him if he was the same Leon when we met. You should be thanking us for not going after the heroes party for extortion."

Another of the heroes party spoke up. she asked "Wait, your saying that wasn't your full power? You broke adamantine chest plate armor though. Oh sorry my name is Anna Yoshido."

The last of the heroes complimented Leon. "Holy shit dude. Your incredibly strong if that's true. The names Ivan Stretkov."

Leon, now looking confused, answered the barrage of questions.

"No that wasn't my full strength. Honestly i only flicked him, and i still held back. Sorry for changing the subject but" He looked over each of the heroes one by one. "Your from China, your from Europe, your from Japan, and your from Russia. Did i get that right?"

The four looked at Leon is shock, letting the silence linger until Lexia asked the question on all of their minds. "Wait i thought you looked familiar. Your hair and eyes might have changed, but I'm sure of it. You were summoned with us weren't you?"

Everyone in the room looked at Leon, waiting for the response. Leon sighed and nodded his head. It was now clear to the girl, just why he was so strong.

After a few moments of silence, Lou asked in a shaky voice. "Then what happened to you? You weren't with us when we landed in the capital."

As the memories passed through his mind, Leon looked at the floor before taking a deep breath. He then went on to tell them what happened. About how he wasn't supposed to be summoned, sold into slavery, even meeting the dying god. He took off his shirt to show them the scars he acquired with his time in this world.

Everyone just stared in shock as the flood of information filled their brains. The four heroes seemed more emotional than the rest. After all, they were sent to the capital, given special training and treated with the utmost respect and given the best equipment available. Not once since entering this world had any of them actually struggled with anything. Meanwhile, he was barely surviving in this world.

Carla, sensing Leon's feelings, walked over and sat in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. The others followed suit, surrounding him with hugs and showing him how much they appreciate him being alive.

With a soft tone, Efil bowed and wrapped up the conversations. "I'm glad we got to meet the heroes and as much as i would love to hear stories from your old world, i think its time your you to leave. Please remember to set that one member of your party straight before he does something worse to tarnish your reputations." With a nod, the heroes stood up and headed out the door.

Now that the heroes were gone, Leon put his shirt back on and quietly proceeded to the door after them. Once he got to the door, he turned back to the women and apologized for hiding the information from them. "I should have told you all sooner. I am sorry." And with that, he left.

Walking through Sans, he noticed a bar peeking out from one of the buildings. He decided it would be a good way to loosen his mind and help him straighten his thoughts. After finishing his drink he stood up, turning to leave. There he saw Rebecca standing in the doorway, tears forming in her eyes. She finally asked what he thought he was doing, so se sighed and explained it to her.

"Now that they know who i am, it will only bring trouble. So I'm leaving, before any of you get hurt."

A loud slap echoed through the bar, causing people to stare in confusion.

"How dare you. How can you just up and leave us like that? We would be in danger anyways, at least with you there we would be protected."

She was crying so much her eyes had become bright red. She launched herself at him, hugging him as tight as she could so that he wouldn't leave her behind.

Hugging her back, Leon whispered in her ear. "I'm sorry for being selfish. From now on, i will do everything i can to make sure you all stay safe. Lets go home." Wiping the tears from her eyes, she nodded in agreement.

When they got outside of the bar, Leon felt something was off. He couldn't tell what it was but one thing was for sure, they were being watched. Looking around, he noticed a hooded figure, standing in an alleyway between two buildings, sword already drawn. Sensing what was about to happen, he turned to Rebecca and told her to get the others and go to the guild.

Once the two stopped talking, the figure started sprinting towards Leon. Pushing Rebecca out of the was and drawing his sword, all in a single motion, he blocked the incoming blade.

"Well, Lou, i can see you have some strength behind that title."

Indeed, the one attacking them was one of the heroes, Lou Xian.

"I'm going to kill you and release those women from your brainwashing! You insufferable asshole."

With a deranged look in his eyes, Lou kept swinging his sword. Hoping it would connect with something. Slowly getting annoyed at the situation, Leon stayed on the defensive.

"Lou, what are you doing!" Lexia yelled as the rest of the heroes started to appear.

"I'm doing gods work. He is evil. Why else would he brainwash those women?" He declared resolutely, pointing his sword towards Leon.

Finally getting sick of the situation, Leon yelled to the others. "Either you get his now, or i will have to deal with him my way."

Shivers ran down each of their spines as they imagined what would happen. They ran to retrain Lou, but he quickly sidestepped them.

With a voice cold enough to freeze hell itself, Leon resigned Lou to his fate. "Fine then," he said. "My way it is. I'm sorry i have to do this."

Sick of the games, Leon finally went on the offensive. First, he broke Lou's sword, then he shattered his hand with a sickening crunch. Lou could only stand there and scream in pain, as Leon slowly and terrifyingly walked towards him.

"This is for attacking me." He said, snapping Lou's left arm and a few ribs with a kick to his side.

"And this is for putting one of my girls in danger." With a loud crunch followed by a pain induced scream that echoed throughout the city. Leon had broken Lou's right knee. Finally deciding to put an end to the torture, Leon grabbed the front of his cloak and lifted him off the ground.

Lou attempted to break free, you could hear the pain and fear in his voice as he tried pleading with Leon. Holding back, he punched Lou in the center of his face. With that finished, he walked over to deal with the other heroes.

"Next time i have to deal with him, you will be down a party member and a hero. The rest of you seem to have good heads on your shoulders, make sure to keep him out of trouble and out of my view."

They all nodded in agreement. Their faces painted with fear, shock and amazement. With that out of the way, he started towards the guild to meet up with Rebecca and the others. As he walked, he thought of various ways to apologize for his selfish attitude. After a few minutes he found the perfect way, so he decided to buy some wine on the way and hope they accept his apology.

As he walking into the guild, the memory of their first meeting flashed in his mind. He saw the same group of women standing there waiting for him but this time when they saw him, they all rushed to hug Leon. They all stood there in his arms crying. Before he could say his apology, however, they all started apologizing for letting him just leave without saying anything.

He showed the girls the wine, smiled and offered a compromise. "Lets drink, and forget this happened." However, they all told him they appreciated the thought, but they declined.

It was then he realized they were all staring at Rebecca, which confused him. Since she was normally the one who started the parties. She looked both nervous and excited, the words she spoke hit Leon like a brick.

"As much as i would love to, i cant. Since, you know, I'm pregnant."

The guild hall erupted in cheer and joy. Everyone started to congratulate Leon and Rebecca, and the party continued to rage on for hours.

As their party continued throughout the night, someone across town had waken up. As he recalled what had happened earlier that night, he started to become enraged. Realizing their party member had waken up, the rest rushed to his side to check on him.

"Lou, what's wrong?" Anna asked as she was checking to make sure he didn't have any serious injuries still. Sadly the only thing answer they received were just insane ramblings.

"He must have cheated! There is no way i would lose to someone like that. someone who brainwashes women, lies and cheats. I will kill him, even if its the last thing i do." He spoke quietly so nobody could hear him, but it was clear that the look in his eyes were not that of a sane person.

Though the party thought he was fine. So they all proceeded to their rooms, while Lou sat there. Not knowing he would make a horrible mistake if they didn't pay closer attention to him.
