Chapter 253 - Chapter 252: Arrival of Fierce Beasts

Behind Qian Renxue, a magnificent figure unfolded - Her Martial Soul — the Twelve-Winged Angel. Twelve wings unfurled in majesty, each feather shimmering in complex symbols. The face however was still not clear.

The six soul rings behind her martial soul shone, but one of them — the sixth — shone brighter, throbbing like a living heart. It resonated with the Auspicious Emperor's essence, pulling at the invisible threads of destiny that bound it.

The Three-Eyed Golden Lion whimpered weakly as the fusion deepened. The Auspicious Emperor's third eye flickered desperately, trying to resist — but it was futile. As golden-white luminescence that poured into Qian Renxue's body like a flood returning to the sea.

Her sixth divine soul ring quivered violently — then, it stabilized.

Qian Renxue had a thought ' My Sixth Soul Ring feels complete now.'

The light surrounding Qian Renxue intensified once more before collapsing inward, vanishing into her. For a moment, her veins shimmered beneath her skin like molten gold, tracing divine runes across her arms, her neck, and the edges of her wings — before all of it faded.

When the radiance finally settled, the once-mighty Auspicious Emperor lay motionless, her chest rising and falling shallowly. The draconic scales that had adorned her body were gone. Her claws had dulled, her aura diminished. She was still a rare soul beast but no longer the Emperor of Soul Beasts. The Golden dragon king bloodline that was once within her had been absorbed, by Qian Renxue.

Qian Renxue slowly opened her eyes.

She gently stepped back, brushing her hair aside as the last motes of light faded into the night. "Well," she murmured, glancing around the forest with a small, mischievous smile, "that caused quite a commotion…"

Her head tilted slightly as she sensed distant soul power fluctuations.A soft sigh escaped her lips.

"Time to run."

The next instant, her figure blurred , vanishing beyond the treetops.

Below, the Star Dou Forest was silent once more — save for the gentle whimper of a weakened golden creature, whose third eye had dimmed into a lifeless hue.

Seconds after Qian Renxue's departure, an explosion of soul power erupted from the core of the Star Dou Forest. The tranquil moonlight above was instantly drowned by a storm of spiritual pressure so vast that even the night sky trembled.

From the direction of the Lake of Life, countless beast roars echoed — each trembling with fear and submission. Then, like a thunderbolt, several overwhelming auras streaked through the sky, crossing miles in seconds before descending upon the scarred land where light had once burst.

At their forefront was Di Tian, the Beast God — the sovereign of all soul beasts, the one who reigned over the Star Dou Great Forest for hundreds of thousands of years. His presence alone distorted the surrounding space; the air itself bent beneath his will.

In his true form, the Golden eyed Black Dragon, his massive draconic body extended for nearly three kilometers, scales glistening like black mirrors that reflected nothing but endless darkness. Each breath he exhaled was a gust that could sweep mountains aside. But as he reached the site, his form contracted — black scales folding into robes, claws reforming into hands.

In the blink of an eye, Di Tian stood tall upon the scorched clearing: a majestic middle-aged man clad in a robe as dark as the void, laced with golden lines like rivers of molten metal. His hair was black, but one golden strand framed his face, glimmering faintly beneath the moonlight. His eyes — deep golden pupils sharper than blades — radiated a pressure that could silence the entire forest.

Behind him arrived Bi Ji, the Emerald Swan, her gentle emerald light a rare serenity amid the chaos. She had a 550,000-year cultivation. She transformed into a gentle woman wearing green dress.

The Bear Lord, a Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear with a cultivation of 450,000, a very powerful soul beast often also known as the exterminator of forests.

Yao Ling, the Myriad Demon King, a 500,000-year-old mutated Tree Monster whose gnarled roots crept across the ground as it moved.

Scarlet King, the ferocious Three-Headed Scarlet Devil Mastiff, radiated killing intent as his three heads growled in unison, shaking the trees around them.

Zi Ji, the Abyss Demon Dragon, her slender form wreathed in violet-black mist. The temperature around her dropped sharply, and her dragon eyes flickered with suspicion and dread.

And finally, towering behind the group, Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape arrived together, their roars echoing like thunderclaps through the ancient woods.

Even among such monstrous beings, the atmosphere was heavy with fear and disbelief.

Bi Ji lowered her head, her expression sorrowful.

"I can still sense her life… weak but alive. The Auspicious Emperor —."

A suffocating silence fell upon the gathered kings. The Auspicious Emperor — the symbol of fortune for all soul beasts — was their hope, their safeguard. Her existence was tied to the fate of every beast across the continent.

Zi Ji stepped forward, her eyes flashing violet.

"Who dares do such a thing? To harm her is to defy the will of the Star Dou itself!"

Di Tian stood silently before the fallen Auspicious Emperor his anger slowly increasing. The once radiant golden fur of the Three-Eyed Golden Lion was now dim and pale, its once resplendent draconic scales gone, replaced by the soft, fragile sheen of an ordinary beast. The crimson glow of her third eye was faint, flickering like a dying ember.

Slowly, Di Tian turned his gaze toward the Scarlet King.

"Scarlet King," his voice was calm, far too calm for comfort. "I recall giving you a simple order — to keep watch over the Auspicious Emperor."
