Chapter 1 - Starlit Hearts: Week After the Blood Moon

Two weeks had passed since the night skies bled crimson and the Blood Moon war reshaped their world.

Now, the world had found its breath again. Life, in all its reckless beauty, had dared to move forward.

Today, in the heart of Holand City, the team—survivors, warriors, legends—decided to be something else for a change.

Just… people.

And what better place to be people than Celestial Park, the largest amusement center on the continent, famous for its gravity-defying rides and food that broke every law of both physics and portion control?

Scene 1: Kazimir & Riah – The Lovers Reforged

Kazimir's gloved hand brushed against Riah's as they strolled past a glittering carousel. Though his black coat shimmered faintly with spatial energy—ever a reminder of his true nature—today, his eyes were softer. Grounded.

Riah, clad in a casual cropped white top and high-waisted flare jeans, smirked. Her long fiery hair was braided loosely over one shoulder, and her golden eyes glinted with challenge and affection.

"Don't tell me you're scared of the Sky Drop," she teased.

"I've fought gods," Kazimir replied without blinking. "But that contraption looks like it's held together by hope and old screws."

She laughed—a real, full laugh. "Oh, my mighty Void King, undone by a theme park."

He leaned in slightly. "I'm only undone by you."

A group of teens passing by—two girls and a boy—slowed down, whispering.

"Is that them?" one asked. "The couple from the Blood Moon incident?"

"I heard she burned a whole field of Parasite-born soldiers with a scream."

"She looks too pretty to kill anyone," the boy muttered.

Riah turned and gave a gentle wave, then winked. The teens flushed and squealed.

Kazimir smiled slightly. "Still causing chaos."

"I'm reborn from it," she replied, slipping her hand into his.

Scene 2: Jessie and Neve – The Ice and the Spark

"Five minutes," Jessie said, reclining on the sun-warmed bench with her sunglasses tilted down. "That's all I need. Just five minutes without hearing anyone scream."

Neve munched on cotton candy beside her, her silver-white hair in a high messy ponytail. "We're in a theme park, Jess. Screaming is the main soundtrack."

"Can't I pretend it's bird song?"

Neve giggled and leaned against her sister's shoulder. "You're really bad at relaxing, y'know."

"I'm relaxed. This is my relaxed face."

"You look like someone's about to get vaporized."

A couple walking by paused when they noticed them.

"Wait, is that—? Oh my god, the white-haired girl from the astral footage?"

Jessie lifted her hand. "No autographs, but yes, I was the one who time-sliced the Void Reaper in half."

The civilian couple blinked, then nervously laughed, unsure whether she was joking.

Neve smiled sweetly. "Don't mind her. She's allergic to crowds. And feelings."

Jessie groaned. "Kill me now."

Scene 3: Tyrone and Lihanna – The Budding Flame

Tyrone shoved the oversized stuffed dragon into Lihanna's arms, blushing furiously.

"You didn't have to win it," she said, eyes wide, brushing a lock of braided hair behind her ear.

"I didn't win it." Tyrone looked to the side. "I threatened the claw machine."

Lihanna snorted. "You're the most violent gentleman I've ever met."

They walked in silence for a moment, her holding the plush like it was sacred.

"Hey," he said quietly. "Are you… okay?"

Lihanna turned, her gaze flickering. "After the Blood Moon, or after the dreams that still come?"

Tyrone nodded once, serious. "Both."

She paused, then smiled faintly. "I'm trying to write my own story. You being in it… helps."

He cleared his throat, ears red. "Y-you wanna ride the Tunnel of Hearts?"

Her brow rose. "You asking me on a fake date inside a fake boat under fake stars?"

"I prefer symbolic journey through shared emotional vulnerability," he mumbled.

Lihanna laughed and tugged his sleeve. "Lead the way, writer boy."

Scene 4: Kamaki & Felicia – The Twin Edge of Serenity

At the edge of the park, near the koi pond garden, Kamaki and Felicia sat cross-legged on a raised platform, sipping iced tea from oversized mugs.

Felicia was dressed in a powder-blue sundress, her short curls dyed faint lavender at the tips. Kamaki wore a sleeveless hoodie and fingerless gloves, ever the silent sentinel.

"You don't have to watch everyone like you're expecting an ambush," Felicia said lightly.

Kamaki's eyes scanned the crowd. "Habit."

Felicia took a deep breath. "You're allowed to breathe. The war ended, Kami."

Kamaki finally looked at her, eyes softer than usual. "When I see you smile, I do."

Two little kids walked past, pointing at them.

"Look, that's the girl who throws ice spears!"

"No way! She looks like a fairy!"

Kamaki gave a rare, faint grin. "They think you're a fairy."

Felicia swirled her tea. "And you're my dragon."

Scene 5: The Moment That Brought Them Together

The group reunited near the base of the Ferris Wheel.

Kazimir and Riah stood together, her head on his shoulder as they looked up at the ride.

Lihanna and Tyrone arrived last, breathless.

"Did you guys… kiss in the Tunnel of Hearts?" Neve asked mischievously.

Tyrone looked betrayed. "Who told you—?"

Riah raised a hand. "The ride has a camera. The whole park saw."

Lihanna buried her face in the dragon plush. "Why is this place a surveillance state?"

Jessie chuckled. "Because warriors need memories too."

The attendant called out, "Alright, final ride of the night! Couples go together, group of six max per wheel cart!"

Riah immediately grabbed Kazimir. "Ours."

Tyrone and Lihanna hesitated, then walked hand in hand.

Jessie looked at Neve. "Guess that leaves us, Frostbite."

Neve smirked. "You love me."

"Nope. But I tolerate you better than most explosions."

Final Scene: Above the City

From the peak of the Ferris Wheel, the city sprawled out beneath them like a glittering web of dreams.

Kazimir looked out, his arm tight around Riah's waist.

"We could've died," he said quietly.

"But we didn't," she answered. "And now we get to live."

He tilted his head to look into her eyes. "With you… it's the only version of life I want."

Riah kissed him, slow and eternal, as fireworks exploded in the sky, casting their silhouette in hues of light and promise.

Below them, laughter and joy painted over pain, and for once…

The world didn't need saving.

They could just be.
