Chapter 12 - Blame and Guilt.

THALIA

"Then what do you want from me, Lena? Why are you even here?" My blood was boiling merely staring at her, and her smirk deepened.

"To make you suffer," she said without hesitation, and I blinked my lashes at her.

"Wait… what?" I gasped, air almost trapped in my lungs.

I calmed myself, trying to collate my words. "Lena, had you been the one who set me up with the diamond bracelet?" I questioned, even if a part of me knew she had been the one who had put me in trouble, I still wanted to confirm from her mouth.

Her smirk curled as one of the devils as she moved closer to me. "Yes, I did," she pouted her lips mockingly, and my chest tightened.

"You should be smart enough to have figured that out already," she flashed her gaze at me.

What?

"Wh-why?"

"Why would you do that to me?" Tears sprang to my eyes as I stared at my sister.

What had she become? This wasn't the Lena I knew. What happened to the old her?
