"HOLY F—KING SH*T!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Amidst the roar of the dragon, a louder scream echoed through the chaos.
Dr. Kondraki stood frozen—eyes wide, jaw slack, emotions flooding his face:
Shock. Disbelief. Despair… and rage.
"It's over… All my work is over!"
Suddenly, his strength gave out, and he collapsed to the floor, overcome by despair.
Across the battlefield, the monstrous black dragon clashed furiously with the mech piloted by Professor Kain!
ROOOAAARRR!!!
The dragon lunged toward the mech.
Before it could strike, Kain raised the mecha's arm and fired a barrage of crystal projectiles from SCP-244.
Da-da-da-da!
The hail of crystal bullets struck the beast—but to no effect.
The dragon didn't flinch.
Instead, it grew even angrier.
ROOOAAARRR!!!
A concussive wave burst forth from its mouth, cracking walls and shaking the ground.
Far away, Leon Lake realized the battle was turning.
Grabbing SCP-239 by the arm, he sprinted toward the C-12 emergency corridor.
Meanwhile, Dr. Gears appeared beside the collapsed Kondraki and administered a fast-acting injection. Kondraki stirred, regained consciousness, then helped carry the immobilized Dr. Clef as the two escaped—sheltered by a swarm of butterflies.
And just like that, the battlefield was reduced to one dog and one dragon.
ROOAAARRR!!!
The black dragon's attacks intensified. Its enormous form devastated every structure it moved through.
Forced back again by crystal rounds, the dragon leapt into the air.
Then—it lowered its head.
An eerie power surged in its belly.
"Oh no!"
Professor Kain activated a defensive barrier just in time.
ROOOOOAAARRR!!!
A storm of fire engulfed the entire field.
Everything in sight was scorched into ash…
…everything except Professor Kain.
Even within purgatory itself, the dog and dragon continued their deathmatch.
Kain and his mech danced between flame and fang, dodging by fractions, retaliating with pinpoint strikes.
"Come on, you overgrown lizard! Show me what you've got!"
He fired another round of strange ammunition.
BOOM!
The burst of flame was drowned out by another earthshaking roar.
The dragon emerged once again, unfazed.
Kain blinked.
"Seriously? This is like peeing on a god."
ROOOAARR!!!
More explosions, gunfire, barking…
The livestream audience held their breath.
A towering dragon.
Explosive firepower.
Relentless bullets.
A dog in a mech suit.
It was a perfect cinematic storm.
No one could look away.
"This is INSANE!"
"This is the greatest fight scene in fiction!"
"Mechs vs dragons! SCI-FI VS FANTASY!"
"Professor Kain is a LEGEND."
But on the battlefield, things looked grim.
"Damn it, nothing works!"
Kain's expression turned serious.
His firepower couldn't pierce the dragon's hide.
The beast was shrugging off everything.
Backed into a corner, Kain froze.
Then—a flash of inspiration.
"Wait… this damn dragon is just a child's imagination, right? And in stories, the hero always wins…"
"The hero… with a sword?"
Just as he said it, a lightsaber materialized on the mech's left arm!
It hadn't come from SCP-244.
It hadn't come from Kain.
But it had come.
Kain burst into laughter.
"HA! That's what I'm talking about!"
He charged.
With a single, clean slash, he pierced the dragon's hide.
ROOOAAAARRR!!!
The dragon wailed in agony.
The blow tore through its tail.
Now the tide had turned.
Professor Kain's mech danced across the beast's body, slashing, dodging, weaving.
Within a minute, the lightsaber pierced its chest.
The dragon let out one final cry.
And then—its head fell.
Vital signs: terminated.
Kain stood triumphantly on the fallen beast and murmured:
"...You think anyone would mind if I tried to eat it?"
The livestream exploded.
"HOLY SH*T, THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!"
"Lightsaber mecha vs fire-breathing dragon… I've peaked as a human."
"Someone give Kain a goddamn Oscar!"
"Ultimate sci-fi/fantasy crossover moment."
Even in the Extraordinary Chat Group:
Deadpool: "Okay, my healing factor has officially been outclassed."
Tony Stark: "Told you. Mechas are the only real romance."
Steve Rogers: "Strength still matters. Without that lightsaber, it wouldn't have worked."
Hulk: "...SCP-239 made all of this. She's the real MVP."
Stark Tower
"YESSS!" Tony Stark jumped up. "He did it! He actually did it!"
He turned to Rhodey with wild eyes:
"I'm building a lightsaber into my mech. JARVIS, pull up the design schematic!"
"Sir, we currently lack the technology to fabricate a lightsaber—"
"I DON'T CARE! Make one!"
"…As you wish."
S.H.I.E.L.D.
"This is ten times better than any mission we've ever run," Natasha Romanoff muttered.
"I want a mech too."
Nick Fury glanced at her.
"You think S.H.I.E.L.D. has anything close to that?"
Natasha sighed.
"Nope. Because we don't have a Level 4 reality bender."
Everyone paused.
They understood.
None of this—the black dragon, the lightsaber, the turning tide—was random.
It was SCP-239.
"What about Dr. Clef?"
Fury's eyes narrowed.
There was more to this than Clef's madness.
What had caused it?
As Professor Kain stood victorious, the scene shifted.
Leon Lake was seen dragging SCP-239 into the secure vault of the site.
Clang.
He closed the outer vault door, but not the blast shield.
Whoosh—hah…
SCP-239 gasped, hands on her knees, her face glowing with excitement.
"The evil dragon's true form is revealed… what now, Necromancer Leon?"
The screen suddenly went silent.
Leon pointed at the "spellbook" in her hands, saying something off-mic.
She smiled, flipped through the pages, and ran toward him with excitement, pointing to something inside.
Leon nodded and gestured toward the emergency supplies on the wall.
SCP-239 ran off, gleefully collecting items and chatting nonstop.
But then…
Leon slowly stepped behind her.
From his pocket, he pulled out a syringe.
The audience froze.
"What is he doing?"
"Is he insane?! That's a Level 4 reality bender!!"
In one swift motion, Leon jabbed the syringe into SCP-239's neck.
She yelped—then slumped into his arms.
Leon wrapped her gently in an emergency blanket and walked out of the vault.
Calm.
Unbothered.
As if it were just another day.
The audience collectively held their breath.
This... was how it ended?
Was this truly the end of the SCP-239 crisis?
The silence was eerie.
Chat exploded with questions:
"Why was Dr. Clef so obsessed with termination?"
"What exactly did Leon do?"
"How will SCP-239 be secured?"
"What happens to the Four Doctors of the Apocalypse?"
No answers came.
Only silence.
Future Foundation HQ
"Dude, that's it?!" Peter Parker waved his arms. "You can't end it like that!"
He turned to Leon Lake, practically begging:
"Please, tell me what actually happened! I'm dying of suspense!"
Leon gave a strange smile and shrugged.
"Let's just say… the cause and effect are far more unexpected than you think."
Just then, Gaea's voice chimed in:
"There's still one more clip."
Peter looked up.
The final reveal began.
The screen cut to a small room.
A man—face red with rage—shouted:
"What the hell did you say to her?!"
Clearly referring to SCP-239.
Leon Lake stood calmly before him.
"Sir, your anxiety is misplaced. The footage is preserved. Audio retention is at 88%. You already know most of the conversation's content and outcome."
"Damn it, I don't want your data!" the man roared. "I've read your file. I know you. Kondraki, Gears, even that lunatic Clef—they all vouched for you!"
"Some even wanted to promote you to senior researcher…"
He stepped closer.
"So answer me, Leon. What did you say to her?"
Leon was silent.
The man seethed.
"What you did could've brought down the entire Foundation. More importantly… you destroyed the SCP."
