The image on screen showed the fight between two men. It was far less intense than the last battle—and even looked a little comical at times.
But no one across the entire Marvel universe laughed.
Every viewer was stuck in a quiet, inexplicable fear.
Because of what Dr. Clef had said.
That future—a rotting universe, twisted gods, reality collapsing—was too bleak.
Even though Clef insisted it was a lie, it took root in everyone's mind...
> What if it's not?
A chill seemed to drift across dimensions.
---
S.H.I.E.L.D.
> "It's fake, right?" Natasha Romanoff asked, her face pale.
> "It doesn't matter if it's true... as long as it only happens in that universe," Nick Fury replied.
Everyone visibly relaxed.
Right. Anomalies like these only exist in the SCP Foundation universe.
And yet—
Fury looked back at the screen. A flicker of concern passed across his face.
There was something he hadn't said aloud:
> If anomalies truly appear without end… can the Foundation even survive long-term?
---
Kamar-Taj
The young apprentices had no clue what Clef meant. They were still lost in their magical roleplay.
But the Ancient One watched them with a somber expression.
Others could afford to be curious.
She had to prepare for the worst-case scenario.
If even a sliver of that vision were true—
If those beings breached this universe—
It wouldn't be impossible.
The multiverse had no boundaries, not for them.
---
Asgard
> "Gods going insane?" Loki scoffed, unsettled.
But the idea stuck with him.
> Can gods go mad?
> "No. I won't."
Yet anxiety flickered in his eyes.
He kept watching, eager to see where the Foundation's twisted universe would go next.
---
Under Leon Lake's deep gaze, the scene dimmed.
New text appeared.
---
> [Post-Incident 239-B Report: Long-Term Consequences (Selected Excerpts)]
> Item 97: SCP-239 exhibited uncontrollable Keter-level abilities, indirectly leading to multiple SCP and staff deaths, and major destruction of Site-17.
Proposal: SCP-239 to be kept in a medically induced coma. Supervised by Dr. Erica Valdason.
Priority: Beta.
> Item 102: Several Foundation personnel showed exceptional courage and sacrifice.
Proposal: Honorary commendations awarded to Researcher Lake, Dr. Bright, Dr. Gears, Dr. Kondraki, and Administrator Kain Pathos Crow.
Leon Lake's promotion to Senior Researcher is approved.
Priority: Epsilon.
---
The livestream exploded.
> "Leon got promoted??"
> "From mid-level to high-level researcher just like that?!"
But no one really argued it.
After all, without Leon, Site-17 might not even exist anymore.
Then came a final log—
> Item 138: Dr. A. Clef's actions during Incident 239-B resulted in the deaths of multiple SCPs and Foundation staff. He also displayed several concerning behaviors, including non-standard interactions with SCPs 091-ARC and 336.
Proposal: Dr. Alto Clef to be reclassified as a Euclid-class humanoid SCP and contained at Site-17.
Containment number and procedures TBD.
Priority: Alpha.
The audience fell silent.
Every other doctor had been praised.
Only Clef was beaten, scolded, and now—
Imprisoned as an anomaly.
---
The golden system text flashed on the screen.
> [Leon Lake's Third Memory Has Ended!]
But before anyone could react—
> [Leon Lake's Fourth Memory from His Past Life Is About to Begin!]
> [Keywords: Death of a King | Rebirth Plan | Sarkic Cult | Chaos Insurgency | O5 Council...]
All across the Marvel universe, everyone was glued to the screen again.
No time to speak—
The text vanished.
---
New Scene:
> "You submitted a proposal related to 'memory'?" Dr. Kondraki's voice asked.
> "Yes," Leon replied.
Kondraki sighed, scratching his head.
> "You're already a doctor now. Security Level 3. You can access most of the site's projects. I don't get it."
> "This one requires Level 4. And it's top-secret."
The livestream chat lit up:
> "Top-secret?"
> "Oh, it's about to get wild."
Kondraki's eyes narrowed.
> "Wait... you mean SCP-3000?"
Leon shrugged. "Yes."
Kondraki stared at him a moment. Then unlocked a desk safe and pulled out a thick file.
> "Technically, SCP-3000 was upgraded to Level 5/3000. Even as site director, I might not get full clearance anymore."
He handed the file over.
But before letting go, he paused.
> "Kid… I watched you grow from a junior researcher to where you are now. Don't do anything you'll regret."
The chat paused.
What the hell was in that file?
---
S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Level 5… top-secret…"
The phrase echoed in Nick Fury's head as he stared at the back of Leon Lake onscreen.
> What are you planning, Leon…?
The other agents had just one thought:
> OPEN. THE. FILE.
---
[PROJECT TITLE: ANANDASHESHA]
The name alone stunned SHIELD.
> "Ananda... what?" Natasha tried to pronounce it.
Even Nick looked puzzled.
Then Maria Hill chimed in:
> "I found something. It might be a match."
They all turned to the screen.
> "Shesha," Maria read, "The serpent king in Indian mythology. Also called Ananda. Said to have a thousand heads and support the stars themselves."
Everyone relaxed a bit.
> "Just a myth," Fury muttered.
Or so they hoped.
---
But the next warning shattered that calm:
> [WARNING: CLASS VIII COGNITIVE HAZARD. UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS FORBIDDEN.]
Everyone went still.
Then the file opened.
---
SCP-3000 FILE – EXCERPT
> Item Number: SCP-3000
Object Class: Thaumiel
Site: INWBKL Site-151
Project Lead: David Bell
Supervisor: Kerry Eckelkamp
Task Force: SCPFEremita
The layout was unlike any file they'd seen.
This was beyond top-secret.
> Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-3000 resides in [DATA EXPUNGED], a 300km-wide oceanic area. Patrolled by Foundation warships.
Civilians strictly barred from diving or exploring.
Individuals exposed to SCP-3000 must be quarantined indefinitely.
---
SHIELD went silent.
> "A containment zone… 300 kilometers across?" Natasha whispered.
> "Underwater?" Fury said grimly. "How big is this thing?"
---
> Description:
SCP-3000 is a massive serpentine aquatic entity, similar to a giant moray eel.
Estimated length: 600–900 kilometers.
Head diameter: ~2.5 meters.
Body diameter: up to 10 meters in places.
Silence.
Then—
> "Six hundred... to NINE HUNDRED KILOMETERS?!"
> "No way!"
> "That's an ocean-sized snake!"
> "This makes every kaiju we've ever seen look like a garden worm!"
---
Kamar-Taj
While apprentices debated just how far 900 km actually was...
The Ancient One stood frozen.
She'd traversed galaxies. Witnessed the Celestials.
But even among cosmic gods, the largest entity was no more than 300,000 meters—200 miles.
This?
This was cosmic-level.
Multi-universal.
---
> Anandashesha wasn't just large.
It was on a tier equal to or above the gods.
And that… was only the beginning.
