In Appendix 1, a previously deleted ritual preparation item reappeared:
> [One live male domestic chicken, recommended to be caged to prevent accidents upon entering SCP-2317-Prime (referred to as "the chicken").]
At this moment, no one cared why a chicken was necessary for the ritual.
All attention was locked on the newly surfaced ceremonial text—just a few words, but like a magnet, they captivated everyone:
> [3. After completing one circumambulation of SCP-2317-AG, the Master of Ceremonies will sprinkle holy water on the assistant from head to toe while reciting: "Seven Seals, Seven Rings, Seven Thrones for the Scarlet King."]
> [4. The MC then moves to a safe location away from the assistant and sacrifices a chicken using an obsidian knife. The chicken's blood is poured into the holy water bowl, mixed thoroughly.]
> [6. After another full circle around SCP-2317-AG, the assistant will approach the stone at the circle's center and pour the remaining blood-water mixture onto the salt and sand, reciting: "Blood for the old gods, holy water for the new king."]

The Deepest Reaches of the Universe — Observer Dimension
The moment the name "Crimson King" appeared, the pupils of Observer Uatu shrank to a pinpoint.
Over countless millennia, he had observed some of the most ancient and powerful beings across multiple universes.
But among all those entities... there was no Crimson King.
And yet—
Just seeing the name invoked a primal, indescribable fear within him.
A flood of chaos overwhelmed his mind: cries of forgotten civilizations, madness from lost timelines, hatred of modernity, loathing for humanity, and contempt for the meaninglessness of existence.
No! Stop!
Uatu managed to pull himself back from the brink of collapse.
"Damn it! What the hell is this thing?! Just reading its name causes mental contamination..."
The Crimson King.
"The Crimson King!"
"No! He's not some supreme divine entity. He defies classification! Mortal frameworks can't contain him!"
For the first time in his long existence, the all-seeing observer felt something terrifyingly unfamiliar:
Terror.
Yet beneath that terror, curiosity still smoldered.
---
Elsewhere in the Multiverse
Inside a cosmic temple, Eternity—the abstract embodiment of the Marvel Multiverse—whispered:
> "The Crimson King…"
As the incarnation of all space-time and the collective consciousness of life, even Eternity had never heard of such a being.
But the moment He read the file, He instinctively attempted to search the multiverse...
Only to discover that:
> The Crimson King had blocked even His perception.
For the first time since the birth of the universe—
Eternity felt fear.

Marvel Universe — Widespread Reactions
The entire Marvel world erupted.
> "WTF?! He's a god???"
> "Crimson King?! My soul shivers just hearing that name!"
> "Now I understand why the system warned us from the beginning… this thing is horrifying!"
> "How is such a being even contained???"
> "The Foundation… they're insane but incredible…"
---
Inside S.H.I.E.L.D.
Every agent was paralyzed with dread.
"Crimson—"
SLAP!
Nick Fury silenced the speaker with a backhand.
"IDIOT! Don't you know some beings take notice the moment their name is uttered?!"
The agent snapped back to his senses, drenched in sweat.
Even Maria Hill's voice was shaky.
"No… that being doesn't belong to our universe."
She turned to Fury.
"If the Crimson King truly existed here, we'd be long dead."
Fury fell into a grim silence.
> The Crimson King is undoubtedly a top-tier god.
> He could easily trigger an XK-class apocalypse.
> But could such an entity really be contained?
> Especially by a ritual involving chickens and water?
No—it didn't make sense.
Unless…
He looked back at the screen with narrowed eyes.

More Information Appeared on the Monitor
> [Addendum 2317-2: History]
SCP-2317 was first discovered in 1922 by [DATA EXPUNGED], and relocated to Containment Area-179 in 1982.
> Upon first discovery, 4 of 7 chains were broken. The 5th chain's destruction caused a [DATA EXPUNGED] event.
> The 6th chain's failure triggered disasters resulting in over 2 million deaths.
---
Fury's eyes widened.
Each chain break = a world-class catastrophe?
Two million lives lost?
And this entity is still classified as just Keter-level?
This wasn't the Crimson King.
But whatever it was...
Only one chain remained.
He gulped and read on.
> Procedure 220-Kayla Basas is effective for containment until the chains can be restored.
Records show the severity of [DATA EXPUNGED] events increases exponentially.
If the final chain (SCP-2317-G) breaks, an XK-class end-of-the-world event is almost certain.
> Everything must be done to ensure the success of Procedure 220-Kayla Basas.
---
Silence.
The entire Marvel audience fell into hushed horror.
As if a wave of existential dread swept through every corner of their world.
Then came a burst of chaotic emotional outpour:
> "TWO MILLION DEAD from one chain?!"
> "This... this is beyond any natural disaster…"
> "And only ONE chain is left???"
> "We're just insects to these cosmic entities…"
---
Inside S.H.I.E.L.D.
Natasha's voice trembled. "Those chains…"
"No," Fury cut her off, his voice low and bitter.
"Even if that last chain doesn't cause a doomsday…"
He faced the room, his tone chilling:
> "That chain is holding a 200-kilometer-tall entity—SCP-2317-K."
Everyone went dead silent.
If the chains alone caused world-ending disasters…
What if the entity itself got free?
---
Stark Industries
Tony Stark's hands shook as he clutched his glass.
"How did the Foundation manage to contain that thing?"
"It doesn't add up," Colonel Rhodes said gravely.
"Nowhere in the documents does it say the Foundation actually contained SCP-2317-K."
Tony froze. Then it hit him.
When the Foundation found it, the door already existed.
So did the chains.
The entity was already imprisoned.
"Then… someone—or something—stronger must have bound it in the first place!"
Rhodes nodded solemnly.
"But if so, why did six of the seven chains break?"

Future Foundation HQ
As the level 4 file ended, Peter Parker stared at Leon Lake.
"That's it?"
"That's all I could access with Level 4 clearance," Leon replied casually.
"But… you looked further later, didn't you?" Peter asked nervously, his voice full of fear, wonder, and desperate curiosity.
"C'mon, tell me!"
Leon smirked. "Didn't I say it's not over yet? Just keep watching."
Peter blinked.
Then the screen flickered.
A familiar figure appeared.
---
The Supervisor.
Footsteps echoed.
Clack. Clack. Clack.
"We meet again, Senior Researcher Lake," she said coldly.
She narrowed her eyes, inspecting him.
"Why are you interested in SCP-2317?"
Leon looked her in the eye.
"I just wanted to see it."
Her lips curled faintly.
"What if I told you there's more—something only those with the highest level of clearance can see?"
