"Well, well… a whole group of monsters coming at me together, huh? So you're the new generation of the Charlotte family's strong ones? But with just the three of you, you won't be able to deal with me!" Rosinante lifted his head, smiling faintly at the three in front of him.
"Let's see if you can still say that in a few minutes!" Daifuku said while rubbing his belly continuously.
"Go, Genie!" Daifuku commanded.
A puff of smoke erupted, shaping itself into a huge, blade-wielding demon who charged straight at Rosinante.
"Devil Slash!" The demon raised its massive sword and swung it down at Rosinante.
"Aladdin's lamp, huh? Wonder if you can actually grant wishes." Rosinante chuckled as he watched the attack come down.
Before anyone could see how he moved, his body flickered without warning, shifting a mere ten centimeters to the side—just enough to slip past the demon's slash.
"But constantly rubbing your belly like that… looks more like a street performance. This little 'five-five-seven' move isn't cool in the slightest." Rosinante casually threw a punch, striking the demon squarely after it missed.
The Genie was incredibly tough—ordinary people couldn't hope to destroy it—but under Rosinante's fist, it burst apart into smoke and vanished.
"You're pretty capable… but my Genie is immortal!" Daifuku said in surprise, before quickly rubbing his belly again at a dizzying speed.
In no time, another Genie burst from his navel, charging at Rosinante once more.
At the same time, Cracker clapped his hands, summoning pieces of biscuit that fused together into biscuit warriors, each armed with a long sword, marching toward Rosinante.
"My, my… one after another, all with such annoying abilities." Rosinante said with a grin.
"Perfect. I just got my hands on a sword recently. Haven't used one in ages… might as well test how powerful it is." He placed one hand on the hilt of the violet-bladed Ziming sword at his waist.
"Heaven-Crashing Slash!" Rosinante shouted, drawing the sword in one swift motion and sweeping it in a wide arc.
Rosinante had actually used a sword for quite a long time.
Not long after arriving in this world, he began learning how to kill with a blade—because killing with a sword was more convenient.
Combined with his abilities, even opponents slightly stronger than him often ended up losing their lives to his blade.
Back then, he even earned the nickname "Silent Blade," because his sword strikes made no sound, taking lives without warning.
However, he never seemed to have much talent for swordsmanship. With no teacher to guide him, years of practice still didn't bring him to the level of a true swordmaster.
His sword style was born from countless assassinations—practical, precise, and made for killing silently.
But once his strength grew to a certain level, he decided to abandon the sword.
He realized that assassination techniques wouldn't help him break his limits. To truly grow, he needed life-and-death battles with strong opponents.
That mindset was what allowed him to break through to admiral-level strength after fighting Kaido.
Once he reached admiral level, whether he used fists or a sword no longer mattered—both paths led to the same place.
Things that once seemed difficult became easy; it all came down to control—control of his body and of his power.
In Rosinante's eyes now, even a swordmaster was nothing special. With his mastery over strength, he could easily do what a swordmaster could, only with greater force.
As his blade swept out, an enormous arc of sword energy exploded from it, instantly slicing through both Cracker's biscuit warriors and Daifuku's Genie clean in half.
"Watch out!" Perospero shouted.
This slash was terrifyingly powerful, splitting apart everything in its path and continuing toward Cracker and Daifuku. The sight made Perospero's heart lurch.
The Heaven-Crashing Slash was performed by condensing the destructive force of his Crushing Fist into the blade, using the sword's sharpness to unleash it as a deadly wave.
A swordmaster might call it sword aura or a slash, but to Rosinante, it was simply another form of his Crushing Fist.
Instead of compressing force into needle-like or thread-like shapes as in the Crushing Fist, the Heaven-Crashing Slash compressed it into a sword's edge, creating a cutting wave.
Because of this compression, his slashes were not only unimaginably sharp, but also devastatingly forceful—far beyond the level of a normal swordmaster.
"Wave Motion: Pretzel Roll!" Cracker's face paled as he quickly drew his famous sword, Pretzel, thrusting forward.
At the same time, Daifuku's Genie struck again, and Oven's fists blazed with heat and Armament Haki as he punched.
The three attacks—Cracker's sword thrust, Daifuku's Genie slash, and Oven's flaming punch—struck Rosinante's slash head-on.
But the next moment, all three of them felt their expressions freeze.
The slash's power was beyond anything they could have imagined. A violent, unstoppable force traveled down their swords and fists, blasting them backward.
They were flung through the air before crashing heavily into the wall, which cracked and crumbled under the impact, dust filling the air.
"What a savage slash!" Charlotte Amande exclaimed, her hand tightening on her own sword as if ready to challenge Rosinante.
But in the end, she let go of the hilt.
"I'm still far from that level," Amande said coolly after taking a drag from her cigarette.
"Ah, maybe I went a little overboard… wonder if our vice captain's going to be mad at me." Rosinante said with a hint of mischief.
"But the Heaven-Crashing Slash's power… seems even greater than I expected. Must be Ziming's sharpness boosting it." He looked slightly surprised at the result.
In truth, it wasn't just the sword's sharpness—the real reason for the power was Rosinante's increasing mastery over his strength.
The better the control, the more compressed the force, and the deadlier the slash.
The Charlotte family members around them were all wide-eyed, stunned. This slash's power… wasn't it close to their mother, Big Mom's, Ikoku Sovereignty?
"Such a brutal slash… it hurts like hell! But this slash is different from normal—it's got some other force mixed in!" Cracker wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, using his sword to support himself as he stood.
"What slash? Just a cheap imitation." Katakuri suddenly opened his eyes and said coldly.
"Hey, hey! Katakuri, I came here to save you, you know. Don't ruin my moment! So I beat up your little brothers—big deal!" Rosinante rolled his eyes.
