Johnny stood up from his armchair and slid his phone into his pocket. The men who had escorted Adam inside moved to the large metal door and slid it shut with a heavy grating sound.
The factory was sealed. But Adam did not care.
His entire focus his entire world was centered on the small figure kneeling on the floor.
Sophia.
She was staring at the ground her shoulders shaking with silent sobs.
"I had a feeling my man wouldn't make it back alive from his visit to you," Johnny said his voice calm and steady a stark contrast to the volatile situation.
"But I have to admit I am surprised that you managed to torture the location of this place out of him. I thought my men were tougher than that. I thought they would never betray me no matter how much they were tortured."
Johnny was genuinely impressed. He knew that only a handful of his most trusted men knew about this secret hideout.
