Chapter Seventy Six

The bell rang signalling the end of that period, I still couldn't believe that I ditched a whole class, but William was more important than anything the physics teacher had to teach.
A part of me sighed inwardly, knowing I wouldn't be saying this in a few months from now, when I would be facing his exam questions.
William and I returned to the now crowded hallway, filled with the noisy chatter of students, there was still one class left before dismissal.
We walked to our lockers to grab learning materials, and just as we made a turn, we crashed straight into them.
My heart instantly tightened in my throat.
By them, I meant Kieran and Vince who were coming around the corner.
I turned away from Kieran's piercing look, ignoring the abnormal summersaults my stomach did.
