Chapter 4 - Chapter 2

They hailed a taxi and made their way back to Minji's house. After paying the driver and collecting Jiah's luggage, Minji rang the doorbell.

Her mom opened the door. "Oh, dear Jiah! Welcome!"

"Hello, Auntie!" Jiah greeted warmly.

"Come inside, both of you."

Jiah settled onto the sofa, while Minji started taking the luggage inside.

Her mom brought out drinks. "Please, have a seat. You must be tired after your flight from South Korea to Japan."

Jiah nodded, a happy smile gracing her lips. Her mom continued to ask about Jiah's parents and the weather in South Korea, and Jiah answered cheerfully.

Few min laters...

Meanwhile, her mom was already preparing lunch for them.

When Minji came back downstairs, she asked, "Jiah, do you want to see my room?"

"Yes, sure!"

Minji led her to her room, which Jiah found very cozy. "Okay, rest here for a bit," Minji said.

"Okay," Jiah agreed.

Earlier, Minji's asked, "Where is Dad? Did he come home?"

"Yes, he came home, but he had an emergency and had to leave again," Minji mom replied.

"Did he bring the car back from the car wash?" Minji asked

"Yes, Mom replied"

"Okay, give me the car keys.Minji"

They're in my room." Minji mom replied

"Sure, Mom," Minji said, and then turned back to Jiah. "Hey Jiah, are you feeling bored?"

"No, I'm enjoying myself here with you," Jiah reassured her.

Few min later

her mom knocked on the door. Jiah opened it.

"Oh, dear Jiah, where is Minji?" her mom asked.

"She's taking a shower," Jiah replied.

"Tell her to come down; lunch is ready. You and Minji, please come."

"Okay, Auntie, I'll tell her," Jiah promised.

Minji emerged from the bathroom, dried her hair, tied it up, and changed into a outfit. Together, they went downstairs for lunch.

After they finished eating, Minji's mom suggested, "Please, take a rest now." Jiah headed back to Minji's room and sat on the bed.

Minji joined her mom in the living room. "Mom, Jiah is going to the pot shop with me."

"Going where?"

"To my pot shop. Lily is alone there."

"But she just arrived. You'll take her again?"

"Lily is alone... Lily needs company too,

and you ," Minji's mom mused.

"I will manage the shop from here, but I won't be staying there." Minji replied

Minji went back to her room. "Let's go, Jiah."

"Go where?" Jiah asked, confused.

"To my pot shop. Pack your luggage."

"But where will I stay?" Jiah asked, her brow furrowed.

"You know my sister, Lily? She's alone. Lily doesn't understand things properly; she's uneducated. You can teach her things while you're there. She won't be lonely anymore."

Jiah considered it for a moment. "Okay, I'm packing my luggage."

As they were about to leave, Minji's mom called out, "Hello, Jiah, are you leaving already?"

"Yes, Auntie," Jiah replied. Minji's mom looked at her kindly.

"Please, Jiah, come again."

"Sure, Auntie, I will," Jiah promised.

Minji loaded the luggage into the car. "Don't be late, Minji! Come back fast!" her mom called.

"Okay, bye, Mom!"

"Bye, Auntie!" Jiah waved.

"Bye, dear!" Minji's mom waved back as they drove off.

"How far is the pot shop?" Jiah asked

"Not far," Minji replied, turning the steering wheel.

They soon arrived at the pot shop. Minji got out to take the luggage. "Give me that," Jiah offered.

"Okay, ring the bell," Minji instructed.

Lily opened the door, her face lighting up. "Hello, sis!"

"This is my sister, Lily, Jiah. I told you about," Minji introduced.

"I see," Jiah replied, taking in the sight of Lily. Lily then helped Jiah with her luggage, carrying it into the room.
