Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: The Sales Office and the Dean's Office

The interior of the sales office was decorated lavishly, with bright marble floors, a huge crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and many exquisite designs on the surrounding walls.

In the middle of the hall was a large model, a miniature of Hundred Willow Academy, very detailed and beautiful.

On the right side was a reception area with redwood tables and chairs, leather sofas, and a projection screen.

As soon as Fang Xiu entered, the eyes of several sales office colleagues in professional attire turned towards him.

Upon seeing clearly that it was Fang Xiu, their expressions varied.

After all, they were all in the work group, so they had all seen Fang Xiu's earlier message about resigning.

Fang Xiu completely ignored the gazes of the crowd, walking around the sales office hall on his own. His gaze was mainly focused on the mental hospital's office area. For him, nothing was more important than exploring the secrets of the bizarre.

At this moment, a young man in a professional suit, with ordinary looks, a somewhat thin build, and wearing heavy black-framed glasses, hurried over. It was Zhao Hao, who had called him earlier.

He lowered his voice anxiously and said, "Brother Xiu, why are you only just arriving? Manager Wu is almost going crazy with anger. How about..."

Zhao Hao was interrupted by Fang Xiu before he could finish speaking, "Ritian, we'll talk about anything later."

Zhao Hao's Hao had the characters for sun and sky (日天), so in the past, Fang Xiu often jokingly called him Ritian. The current Fang Xiu chose to continue his predecessor's habit.

"Brother Xiu, you..."

Before Zhao Hao could finish, Fang Xiu had already walked away quickly, accurately speaking, heading towards the second floor of the sales office.

Because there was no Dean's office on the first floor of the mental hospital's office area.

Zhao Hao glanced at Fang Xiu's back, sighed heavily, and quickly followed.

He thought Fang Xiu was going upstairs to ask Wu Dahai for money, and he was afraid that things would end badly, so he chose to go up and see what happened.

Fang Xiu entered the second floor of the sales office, which was also equivalent to entering the second floor of the mental hospital's office area.

Although the staircase entrances of the two buildings were different, the floor heights were roughly the same.

After entering the second floor, before Fang Xiu could search, an angry and hurried voice came.

"Fang Xiu! You still dare to come to work? I've already fired you, do you know that!"

A middle-aged man in a black suit, white shirt, balding and with a potbelly, walked over quickly, pointing his fat finger at Fang Xiu and scolding him relentlessly.

The second floor was the sales office area, and Wu Dahai's angry shouts immediately attracted the attention of many colleagues sitting at their computers.

Most people had expressions of schadenfreude, eager to see the conflict between Fang Xiu and Wu Dahai, even hoping for a fight.

Wu Dahai was usually very harsh and unpopular with his subordinates. Although they didn't dare to contradict Wu Dahai, it would be great if someone else did.

However, the imagined conflict did not occur. Faced with his superior's scolding, Fang Xiu had no change in expression. He even couldn't be bothered to waste words with Wu Dahai. Amidst Wu Dahai's angry shouts, Fang Xiu grabbed his shoulder, pushed him aside, and walked straight ahead.

Although Wu Dahai was fat, it was mostly flab. Moreover, he didn't expect Fang Xiu, who was usually so submissive, to actually dare to push him.

He staggered, almost falling to the ground, but thankfully he managed to grab the computer desk next to him.

"You... you dare to push me!? You've gone mad!" Wu Dahai steadied himself, his face flushed with shock and anger.

Especially when the corner of his eye caught the gazes of other colleagues, he felt utterly humiliated.

"Lawless! Absolutely lawless! Security! Security!"

Wu Dahai wisely chose not to directly confront Fang Xiu. Firstly, he probably couldn't win, and secondly, as a superior, fighting with a subordinate in this setting would mean the end of his career as manager.

Enraged, he shouted and called security while still cursing.

Fang Xiu ignored all of this. Amidst the strange gazes of others, he turned around a few times and then headed towards the third floor of the sales office.

Because the Dean's office was not on the second floor.

"Fang Xiu, you little punk, you've got guts, actually daring to push me, you..." Wu Dahai, who was just yelling, suddenly changed his expression. "What are you doing! Who told you to go to the third floor! Come back here!"

He then pointed at several colleagues who were watching the show and roared, "What are you all standing there for? Hurry up and stop him!"

The few colleagues who were ordered could only reluctantly get up, but at this moment, Fang Xiu's figure had already disappeared from the second floor, having gone to the third floor.

Seeing this scene, Wu Dahai's face changed again and again. He quickly called out to those colleagues.

"Forget it, you all come back, I'll go myself."

He dragged his fat body and hurried to chase after him to the third floor.

Wu Dahai seemed very nervous, as if there was some unspeakable secret on the third floor.

Fang Xiu entered the third floor, and his gaze immediately focused on a door not far away. On it was clearly written "院长室" (Dean's Office).

He quickly walked towards the Dean's office, and Wu Dahai, panting heavily, had already caught up behind him.

In reality, Wu Dahai didn't know Fang Xiu was going to the Dean's office. He only saw Fang Xiu heading straight for the last office at the end of the third floor, and his expression changed drastically.

"Fang Xiu, you come back here!"

The office door was opened.

The angry shouts of a man and the exclamations of a woman came from inside, followed by the sound of dressing.

Wu Dahai's face instantly turned pale.

"It's over! It's all over!"

He hurriedly tore at his white shirt, ripping off two buttons, and then ran towards that office like a madman. He entered and saw...

Fang Xiu standing still, staring straight ahead.

And in front of him was a luxurious desk, the notebooks and documents on it having been thrown to the floor, replaced by a disheveled man and woman.

The man was thin, with sunken eye sockets and an unhealthy pallor, his pants pulled down halfway.

The woman had a good figure and delicate makeup. She wore a professional skirt suit and had a pair of long legs in black stockings, which had several large holes. Her high heels were nowhere to be seen.

Fang Xiu stared straight at the black stockings on the woman, or rather, his gaze was focused on the desk in the Dean's office of the mental hospital.

There was a piece of parchment on the desk, but it happened to be covered by the woman.

"Who the hell are you! Who let you in here!" the man cursed while hurriedly putting on his clothes.

The woman timidly hid behind the man, also frantically trying to cover herself with her clothes.

Fang Xiu recognized both the man and the woman. The man was the son of the developer of Hundred Willow Academy, named Wang Ziteng.

The woman was Li Feifei, the top salesperson of Hundred Willow Academy and also the most attractive among all the female sales staff.

The sales team of Hundred Willow Academy was built by the developer himself, so strictly speaking, Wang Ziteng was the son of Fang Xiu's immediate superior's superior.

"Wu Dahai! Didn't I fucking tell you that no one is allowed on the third floor?" Wang Ziteng roared at Wu Dahai.

"Young Master Wang, please calm down, please calm down. Fang Xiu seems to have gone crazy today. After he came, he not only beat me up but also rushed directly to the third floor without saying a word. I couldn't stop him at all.

Look, this is the new white shirt I bought yesterday, it was torn by this kid. It's my fault, I'm getting old after all, I really couldn't stop him," Wu Dahai said with an apologetic and terrified expression.
