"Would you like to be friends with me?" I stared at her dumbfounded. After all her character was made to distrust and not like anyone, even her brother, for the early half of the story.
Yet she's asking me, a stranger she just met, to be friends. Something's gone wrong very wrong.
"And why is a princess asking to be friends with me?" I asked letting my skepticism leak into my voice. "I feel like I would die if I didn't." I stared even more dumbfounded then the first time my head pounding at her words.
I was exhausted I felt like I would faint if I didn't rest soon. I would have time to ask her tomorrow. With those thoughts I then said this.
"I still have a lot of questions but im too tired so we'll continue this tomorrow." Walking away with a tired look. "You still haven't answered my original question." She said walking up beside me.
"Sure, I'll be your friend for now." And with that I walked away from her and headed to my dorm room for some much need rest.

'Can my life get any worse than this.' Grumbling inward I glanced to my side where Selene was. We were currently walking to class together as everyone stared at us.
"Did we really have to walk together." I said glaring at her nonchalant attitude. "Isn't this what friends do?" She said looking at me with a questioning look.
"Nevermind that what did you mean by yesterday." I said excepting at least some sort of answer but. "Like I said I felt my life in danger if I didn't be friends with you."
I was just about to ask what that meant before it clicked. She has a sort of clairvoyant like ability that allows her to feel events before they happen. 'It makes sense now why she said that.'
"You do realize that sounds like your just using me right?" I said looking at her with a mild glare
"I indeed understand that." She said with that infuriating expressionless face that seemed to annoy me more than it should.
I let out a sight before I stared at the classroom door.
I felt reluctant to open it for one reason, her brother. He was a seriously overprotective of her ever since that incident in their childhood that almost killed Selene.
With another sigh I opened the door and walked in with Selene next to me. As I walked to my seat everyone stared at me including Caelum. If looks could kill I'd be dead already with that glare he was giving me.
I reached my seat thinking I could finally get peace until I looked beside me.

I stared at Selene who was sitting next to me. I groaned inwardly at the though of Caelum rushing over to question me.
"Why are you sitting next to me." I asked with a glare.
"Shouldn't friends sit together?" She said cocking her head to the side which seemed to annoy me even more.
I stared back at Caelum who seemed to be intent on ripping me apart.
As if she knew what I was think she said this out loud which was basically a death sentence for me.
"You don't have to worry if anyone approaches you I'll protect you."
