...A pure-white God slowly rose and fell within Xuan Ming's divine soul, radiating a Law that towered above all creation.
With a single thought, he lifted the absolute stasis that had shrouded the Dragon Tomb. Everything began to flow once more, yet every dragon soul fell silent, not daring to stir.
Xuan Ming stepped forward and appeared before Gu Yuena.
She hovered in mid-air, still wrapped in nine-colored divine light, but her face was paper-pale and her aura faint. The heart of the dragon god imprint on her brow flickered unsteadily; deep within, her divine soul was being eroded and assimilated by the enormous will of the Dragon God.
Xuan Ming reached out, pure-white light condensing at his fingertip, carrying the will to negate and dominate everything. He was about to forcefully pierce Gu Yuena's brow to rip out—or even destroy—the heart of the dragon god!
"Stop!"
An urgent, authoritative shout seemed to pierce through layers of space, echoing directly within Xuan Ming's divine soul.
A gentle yet unyielding golden halo appeared out of thin air, blocking his finger from Gu Yuena's brow.
It was the power of the God of Kindness!
"Xuan Ming, halt!" The God of Kindness's voice was graver than ever. "The heart of the dragon god has already begun deep Fusion with her divine soul! If you tear it out—or destroy it—you will shatter the very Origin of her divine soul! The heart might be damaged, but she will be utterly annihilated, not even a wisp of her soul will remain."
Xuan Ming's finger froze mid-air; the pure-white divine light quivered. "Then what can be done?"
The God of Kindness fell silent for a moment, apparently conferring with the other four God Kings, then spoke again with resignation: "It's too late to interrupt the Fusion. The only path left… is to help her complete it."
"Complete the Fusion?" Xuan Ming looked at the struggling nine-colored mark on Gu Yuena's brow. "She is only the Silver Dragon King."
"Exactly." This time Asura God cut in, cold and direct. "The heart of the dragon god can be truly mastered only by complete Dragon God power. Gu Yuena inherited the Silver Dragon King's strength, but lacks the Golden Dragon King's Bloodline and ferocious will. Forceful Fusion will provoke a backlash. To save her, we must supply the missing half."
"Golden Dragon King…" Xuan Ming murmured, his pure-white God spinning as it calculated countless possibilities.
"Correct." A voice laced with mockery and amusement joined in—the God of Evil. "That fellow is sealed right now in the Forbidden Land of God within the God Realm. But, kid, let me warn you—"
"After so many years of imprisonment, the violence and madness from when the Dragon God split haven't faded; they've grown worse! He's now a complete lunatic, mind full of nothing but ruin and carnage. Even the five of us need some effort to subdue him. One careless move and his brute strength can wound us."
The God of Destruction added in a frigid tone, "You have condensed a God, but… we can't see through it. From your current aura, your divine force barely touches the threshold of a Peak first-rank god. Against the Golden Dragon King at full strength and in madness, your odds are slim. Even if you somehow suppress him, extracting his power safely for Gu Yuena to absorb will be far harder."
The Goddess of Life spoke with worry: "Moreover, Gu Yuena's state is extremely unstable. She is being assimilated by the will within the heart of the dragon god; her mind is already fragile. Introducing the Golden Dragon King's savage will into her divine soul at this moment… the consequences would be dire. Instead of completing her, it could speed up her total consumption by the heart, or even… give birth to something far more terrible and insane."
Finally the God of Kindness spoke, voice ethereal yet decisive: "Xuan Ming, we can open a passage to the Forbidden Land of God for you and Gu Yuena. It is the only way that might save her. But—"
Her tone turned utterly solemn: "After you set foot inside, we five God Kings will join hands to completely Seal that region. Unless you succeed in completing the Dragon God Bloodline and Gu Yuena fully masters the heart of the dragon god—or you fail utterly and perish—the Seal will not open. Nothing, be it a out of control Golden Dragon King or something worse, will be allowed to leave the Forbidden Land!"
The meaning of the five God Kings was clear.
The path had been shown.
The method had been given; its dangers spoke for themselves.
Enter, or stay out?
The choice was placed in Xuan Ming's hands.
It was a desperate gamble, staking his Life and Gu Yuena's, along with… the colossal risk that could engulf the entire God Realm.
Xuan Ming lowered his head, looking at Gu Yuena in his arms whose breath was growing ever weaker, at her tightly knit brows and lashes that trembled lightly from pain.

The five God Kings exchanged glances; their eyes held gravity, appraisal, and an indescribable trace of expectation.
"As you wish."
The five God Kings raised their hands in unison, and boundless God King power converged on a single point, smashing into the Void at the center of the hall!
Weng—!
A spatial rift rimmed with five-colored divine light and filled with terrifying energy fluctuations was forcibly torn open!
Behind the gate lay a shattered, dark-red land overflowing with endless brutality and Destruction—Divine Forbidden Land!
Xuan Ming tightened his hold on Gu Yuena; pure-white divine light flared around him as he stepped without hesitation into that radiant door leading to the unknown and to danger.
"Seal!"
The five God Kings shouted in unison; divine force representing the God Realm's supreme authority turned into massive Law chains that wove into a vast net, thoroughly sealing and suppressing the spatial rift.
The Divine Forbidden Land was cut off completely from the outside world.
What happened next—whether rebirth or annihilation—would be decided by the two humans and one Dragon inside…

Five figures radiating vast Divine Might appeared silently beyond a broken Void shrouded by dark-red energy storms.
This was the boundary of the Divine Forbidden Land; the spatial barrier was exceptionally sturdy, and ordinary Divinities could not approach.
The habitual mockery on the face of the God of Evil vanished, replaced by icy sharpness. Dark-purple divine force surged around him, carrying Laws of chaos and erosion, firmly locking onto the Seal.
The God of Kindness looked solemn; golden divine force resembled warm sunlight yet contained unquestionable power of order. Opposing yet subtly interweaving with the God of Evil's power, it formed part of the Seal and an added safeguard.
Asura God's blood-colored eyes flashed like lightning, killing intent chilling. He did not maintain the Seal; instead, he focused all his spirit, and a colossal blood sword—seemingly condensed from endless slaughter and judgment—slowly took shape above his head.
The sword exuded such terror that the surrounding space trembled; even as a phantom it seemed able to sever Karma and shatter Laws!
This was the God Realm's highest-level combined divine art, executed jointly by the three God Kings who governed evil, kindness, and Asura. Its power could utterly obliterate a God King!
Originally, it had been their final measure to completely resolve the great threat of the Golden Dragon King!
Goddess of Life and God of Destruction stood on either side: Life nourished the Seal's stability, while Destruction served as the last barrier against any energy leakage.
The God Realm's near-'laissez-faire' attitude toward the Silver Dragon King and remaining Dragon Clan in the Lower Realm was not due to inability to exterminate, but largely to lack of necessity.
Their gaze had always remained fixed on the most dangerous being inside the Divine Forbidden Land.
Golden Dragon King.
As long as the Golden Dragon King remained sealed, the chance of the Dragon God's resurrection was minuscule.
They had long since prepared: should the Golden Dragon King show signs of breaking free and going completely mad, the Three-Realm Judgment Sword would descend and erase it, along with its violent Dragon God power, from the Universe.
They had not acted, not out of mercy, but from weighing consequences.
The Dragon God's power was indeed dangerous, filled with uncontrollable madness, yet undeniably it had once been the supreme force that ruled Divine Beasts and stood at the God Realm's Peak.
The Universe was vast and boundless; no one could guarantee that beyond known Star Domains, other mighty God Realm civilizations did not exist.
To the God Realm, the Dragon God's power was both a sword overhead and a potentially indispensable trump card against unknown crises in the future.
Unless driven to a truly hopeless dead end, they were unwilling to completely destroy this force that held infinite possibility yet also represented ultimate danger.
Now, Xuan Ming and Gu Yuena's intrusion had greatly accelerated the moment of choice.
The five God Kings stood in full battle readiness.
They waited.
They waited for a result.
If Xuan Ming and Gu Yuena succeeded in controlling the Dragon God's power and emerged with a new order, that would be best.
If they failed—were devoured or assimilated by the Golden Dragon King, spawning something more terrifying, or if Xuan Ming's unknown godhood fused with the Dragon God power to produce unforeseeable mutation—then, for the God Realm's safety, they would have to employ this final measure and thoroughly erase the Divine Forbidden Land and everything within it!
