Chapter 322 - Chapter 322: The Charizard Clan’s Oath

"ROAR!!!"

The scarred Charizard unleashed a furious blast of Dragon Rage, its spiraling blue flames colliding violently with Ash's flaming Dragon Flame Jutsu.

"Sharingan: Genjutsu."

Ash's three-tomoe Sharingan spun to life. As the two fire techniques clashed, he cast a genjutsu directly onto the scarred Charizard's mind, its vision blurring instantly.

BOOM!!!

"ROAR!!"

Caught in Ash's illusion, the scarred Charizard didn't react in time. Ash's flame dragon struck it cleanly in the abdomen, hurling the massive Pokémon backward and ripping a cry of pain from its throat.

Ash exhaled calmly.

With a violent flap of its wings, the scarred Charizard launched itself at him again. Its right claw gleamed with a sharp white aura—Dragon Claw.

Boom!

Crack!

Ash lifted his left arm and blocked the attack with ease. In the same motion, he seized the Charizard's arm, pivoted, and slammed the giant reptile straight into the ground.

BOOM!!!

The impact split the rocky terrain, scattering debris everywhere.

Before the Charizard could rise, a black flame arrow—shaped from pure Amaterasu—materialized at its throat.

Ash stepped atop the Charizard's abdomen, his body encased in the ribbed armor of Susanoo, one skeletal arm drawing back a bow formed entirely from black flames. His hair stirred in the breeze as he spoke coldly:

"Submit… or die."

Liza could only stare, speechless.

"So strong… I didn't know a human could fight like this."

"ROAR!!!"

Ash's threat sent the elder Charizard and the magma-dwelling Charizards into a frenzy. They roared and surrounded him from all sides.

"Hmph."

Ash's expression turned ice-cold. He released his killing intent—murderous aura sharpened through countless battles in the Naruto world.

[ Killing Intent Released ]

Every Charizard froze. Even moving became difficult as the crushing pressure washed over them.

"Roar…"

Feeling that suffocating aura, the scarred Charizard's resistance finally cracked. It lowered its head in submission—recognizing strength far above its own. In the Pokémon world, the strong command respect.

Ash nodded.

"Good. Then listen. Bring your clan to my territory. I'll give you better resources—and in time, your group may become the strongest Charizard pride in the world."

Ash let his killing intent fade.

Back in the shinobi world, he had killed many. That bloodlust didn't simply vanish—and few beings, human or Pokémon, could endure it.

"Roar…"

The scarred Charizard hesitated. Leaving a homeland was difficult… but resources were dwindling. If they stayed, the magma-dwellers might soon become as weak as the outer Charizards.

Ash raised a hand.

"Mokuton."

The ground split, and a towering tree surged upward—lush, vibrant, radiating immense life force. The younger Charmander couldn't resist; they waddled over and curled up around the trunk, eyes half-closed in bliss.

"See?" Ash said. "I can create forests like this anywhere. I'll set aside land for your clan. Other Pokémon will live there too. In return… you obey me."

The scarred Charizard's eyes softened. Ash's abilities were undeniable—and his offer meant survival.

"ROAR."

This time, the Charizard nodded firmly. Survival, strength, a future for the clan—this was the right choice.

Ash smiled.

"Great. Gather every Charizard, Charmeleon, and Charmander here. Don't worry about space—my territory is more than big enough."

Ash pulled out a scroll.

"Wait—Ash, are you planning to take all these Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard away? There are… rules here. They can't just leave."

Liza finally spoke up, unable to stay silent anymore. If the Charizard left, what would she even be protecting here?

"You can relax."

Ash didn't even look concerned.

"With my standing, the Johto Alliance will absolutely give me face. They'll have no choice but to agree."

And it was true.

Ash's power, status, and the forces backing him weren't something the Johto Alliance could afford to provoke. Even if Charizard were powerful, Johto had other strong Pokémon—none worth risking a political disaster over.

If Kanto and Johto ever fought, Johto wouldn't stand a chance.

Not in military power, not in resources, not in trainers, and not in Aura specialists.

The only reason Kanto hadn't annexed Johto long ago was simple:

War consumed resources, and the world maintained a delicate balance.

Every region followed an unspoken rule—avoid war unless absolutely necessary. If that balance broke, the entire world would fall into chaos.

That was why regional Champion Exchanges existed:

A show of strength without actual warfare.

And the League Conferences were designed to evaluate the abilities of foreign trainers—again, without conflict.

Meaning:

These Charizards?

Ash had every right—and every ability—to take them.

Ash glanced at Liza, who was still processing everything.

"How about it?" he asked gently. "You could come with them. You know how the Alliance works. If you go with me, you won't be bound by those rules anymore. You can keep taking care of the Charizards—without limits, without restrictions."

He stepped closer.

"You've spent years protecting them. I'm offering you a place where your work matters even more. Isn't that better than staying trapped here?"

Liza fell silent again, eyes widening, clearly torn.
