Chapter 30 - Chapter 30 {Birth Family}

Leonardo's mind drifted back to that fateful day, when he had begged his father to move up the wedding date. He had been so eager to make Leticia his, to claim her as his own and protect her from the world. But now, she was gone without a trace, and he felt like a fool for thinking he could control her.

He slammed his fist on the table, causing the glasses to rattle.

"Damn it!" he shouted.

"I should have known better than to underestimate her."

He was not angry at Leticia. But angry at himself not protecting her enough. Fears is overwhelming thinking of the worse. You have been kept by the Princeton Family and didn't have to worry about food or water would the outside world treat you well? He kept having dreadful thoughts. How you left me. How his heart is so beyond one can image. So please let me know you are alright. Leonardo worried so much he clenched his jaw.

Aquilai Town

Leticia felt like someone call her name. Forget it who would call her name out here sigh. Leticia sat down as she closed her eyes she touched her hands as she smiled now it seems like it is time to reunite with her birth family. Leticia felt so much excitement she couldn't wait to meet them but she also felt nervous. Come to think of it ever since Leonardo returned back at his empire she hasn't clenched her fits much and now she doesn't need to wear this gloves. She hugged the gloves as smiled.

"Leo thank you for always being my guardian angel I hope wherever you now that you forget me, be happy without me," Leticia said. She took a deep breath and looked at the blue sky and looked at Tun Tun who was playing around.

Meanwhile, in the imperial villa, Leonardo sat alone in his study, staring at the portrait of Leticia that hung on the wall. Her beautiful, enigmatic eyes seemed to stare back at him, filled with secrets and mysteries he would never know.

He reached out, tracing her face with his fingertips, wishing he could feel her warmth and hear her voice. The thought of her out there, alone and unprotected, tore at his heart.

"Leticia," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

"Please be safe. Please come back to me."

He knew he was being selfish, wanting to keep her locked away where he knew she was safe. But the thought of losing her forever was unbearable. He loved her more than anything in this world, and the idea of living without her was a fate worse than death.

Suddenly, a knock sounded at the door. Leonardo quickly composed himself before calling out for the intruder to enter.

Marcus stepped inside, his expression grave.

"Your Highness," he said solemnly.

"I have news about Lady Leticia."

Leonardo's heart skipped a beat as he stood up abruptly.

"What is it? Have you found her?"

"No."

Crush useless useless useless!

Leonardo's mind raced as he processed this new information. The Magic Tower Bank was one of the most secure and secretive institutions in the world, catering exclusively to the magical elite. If Leticia had an account there, it meant she had been planning her disappearance for a long time.

"Marcus," he said sharply, his eyes narrowing.

"I want you to infiltrate the Magic Tower Bank. I don't care what methods you use bribery, blackmail, or force but I need access to Lady Leticia's account records."

Marcus nodded grimly.

"It will be done, Your Highness."

As Marcus left to carry out his orders, Leonardo slumped back in his chair, a heavy sigh escaping his lips. He felt like he was chasing shadows, always one step behind Leticia. But he refused to give up. He would find her, no matter where she was hiding or how long it took.

Meanwhile, in Aquilai Town, Leticia sat by the shore, watching the waves crash against the sand. She felt a sense of peace wash over her as she listened to the soothing sound of the ocean. For the first time in her life, she felt truly free.

Leticia did not use any Magic Tower Bank she knew people can find her that way so she used a different way.

Which was Zvre Secret Magic Bank.

Leonardo's eyes widened as he read the report from Marcus. The Zvire Secret Magic Bank? He had never even heard of such a place. It was clear that Leticia had gone to great lengths to cover her tracks.

He slammed his fist on the desk, frustration boiling over.

"Damn it!" he shouted.

"How could I have been so blind?"

Marcus shifted uncomfortably, unsure of what to say. Leonardo took a deep breath, trying to calm himself.

"There has to be a way," he muttered, more to himself than anyone else.

Leticia was drinking her rose tea and she tapped her finger. How can she find her birth family she sighed and she tapped her lips before she looked at Mrs. Baker.

"Leticia what is the matter?" Mrs. Baker said.

"Nothing, do you have a locator spell?" Leticia asked as she took a deep breath. In Aquilai Town Leticia has become a mysterious beauty.

Mrs. Baker's eyes widened in surprise at Leticia's request. A locator spell? That was a powerful and complex piece of magic, one that required a deep understanding of the target's essence.

"I... I'm afraid I don't have one," she admitted reluctantly.

"But I might know someone who does."

Leticia leaned forward, her interest piqued.

"Who?"

"The old wizard, Elias," Mrs. Baker replied.

"He lives in the woods just outside of town. They say he's lost his mind, but some swear by his magical abilities."

Leticia nodded thoughtfully.

"I see. Thank you, Mrs. Baker."

As Leticia finished her tea, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was on the verge of discovering something important. The thought of finding her birth family filled her with a mix of excitement and apprehension.

"What is the shop she owns?" Leticia asked.
