The following day, in the car.
"So how does it feel?"
"What?"
"You know, the system, how did you feel when it first appears?"
"Uhmm, it was kind of strange, i felt my consciousness fading for a while, but then i regained myself back..."
Although Ren was not involved with his whatever his sisters are talking about, but Ren looked at her with a tiny shade of fear.
"How?"
"What do you mean how?"
"When you lost consciousness, what was it like?"
"It was like i experienced death."
Ren was definitely worried,but he did not still talk,Lora noticed his discomfort.
"Big brother are you okay?"
"Yes, i am." i said patting her head.
I am not really sure what's going on, but all i know is that i am no longer receiving the system, with the information i have the system does not sound like a bad thing,maybe i should just leave it alone for now.
"Ren, are you listening to us?"
"What!" i said snapping out of my personal thought.
"Are you not interested in what we are saying?"
"Sorry i was not listening, what did you say?"
"Mio said she can get any power she want's from the system."
"Is that so?"
"Yes, infact i gained two abilities these morning,while i was taking my bath."
"Really, what type of skill?"
"I gained Thermal manipulation & Enhanced sensory perception."
"What type of abilities are those?"
"good question Lora, now for my first ability thermal manipulation, i can control how cold or hot i want something to be, for example if i do these." she raised a finger and the whole car begins to freeze inside.
Everyone in the car was shocked
"Wow you are amazing sister Mio."
"I know, and i can also do these." with the same finger, the cold car started turning hot.
"So you control both cold and heat?" Ren asked.
"Yes, and it looks like i have better control now over my ability,than i did these morning."
"What else can you do?"Tanya asked.
"That will be my enhanced sensory perception, well that allows me to be better."
"Uhnn, what are you talking about."
"Well firstly, i now have better vision than my four eyes twin sister, i can perceive sound if that makes sense, and if i touch anything i can see up to 30 seconds into the future and a minute into the past, i can smell intentions, will, emotions and some absurd things,and if i really focus on someone i can hear their thoughts."
Why is she these overpowered, is she the main character, well i can do all these, but the rate at which she is gaining abilities is insane.

Looked up at Lora.
"Lora."
"Yes big bro."
"You won't happen to have these type of ability, right?"
"No, i am just leveling up,everyday i get a +1 to all my stats, ranging from strength to agility, to intelligence, to vitality and to my senses as well."
"So have you noticed any change?"
"Not sure, i am still a day in, so we should wait for about a week."
"That's fair enough."
"Wait Lora, let me see your homepage."
"Sure."
She opened her homepage, Mio moved in to confirm her name and noticed that under Lora's name there was a tiny triple question mark.
"Lora, do you know what these triple question mark represent?"
"Not really, i thought everyone has that question mark."
"Yes i also have it, but i wanted to confirm what that question mark signifies."
"Do you think it's like one's build?"
"What?"
"You know like assassins, thieves, mages, healers and some other jobs like that."
"I kind of feel like that is what that slot is for."
"Anyway, i will confirm from other students who has received their system, unlike my confused sister and overthinking brother."
She must always remind us we are the only one left without the system.
"Don't worry big bro if anyone tries to pick a fight with you, i will be right there with you to deliver divine punishment."

"You know i will be right there to kick anyone who tries to go against you."

I was patting her head, while she was smiling.
"One more thing you guys." i said seriously, they all looked at me.
"What?"
"I think you guys need to keep your growth rate a secret."
"Why?"
"It's better to be underestimated than overestimated, if you tell people how you are receiving power ups, and daily increase stat boost,if there is any type of scuffle, your opponent would be fully prepared against you, they would have devised a counter measure to your current power, and even come up with a plan to overpower any type of power up you maybe expecting to receive, you do not know when a friend will turn into an enemy, and when an enemy will turn into a friend, at most keep the most important information to yourself, if people are talking about their own power and you don't want to feel left out, find a common ground in which you can all agree is normal, don't go as far as outshining your whole class, with great strength drags a greater enemy."
They all looked at Ren with surprise.
"Where is all these coming from?"
Ren realizing what he has said, begins to laugh nervously.
"It's nothing special, i just want you guys to be safe."
"But i thought everyone would be revealing the type of power they receive today."
"Like i said, don't talk if it's not necessary, but if you must reveal find a common ground that won't make you stand out."
"Ren are you trying to force your shut-in life to us."
"No it's not like that, i am just trying..."
Tanya begins to laugh.
"I know, just messing with you,i know you are looking out for all of us, as the heir to the Oswald family you must look after we your subject."
"Heir!"
Silence instantly filled the whole car, nobody dared to talk, everyone avoiding my gaze.
"Would someone like to explain what Tanya just accidentally reveal?"
No one still dared to talk, the car was silent until we arrived at the school gates, and before i could even talk, they had all vanished.

"Good morning Ren!" a voice said behind me.
Instantly checked who was that, only to meet a full smiling Ellen walking towards me.

"Ohhh!, what's with that look on your face."

"Really, is that how i look?"

Maybe hearing that i am now an heir to multi-billion family isn't the type of news i want to hear, what happened to my peaceful quiet days, come to think of it i haven't really enjoyed any peaceful or quiet day.
"Well then, we should head inside our class."
"Are you excited for our system collection today, i have heard from people in other classes, they said there system has been more helpful than they could ever have imagined."
"Is that so, sorry but i am not allowed to receive the system."
"Yes the sys....wait what!!!"
"Sorry but my dad thinks if i receive it, i might become so useless to the entire class, so he said while everyone is using the system i am only allowed to use the normal route."
"But how would you be doing your school projects, how will you be receiving lectures, how would your life be?"
"Don't worry about me, i will figure something out."
That is exactly the questions mum asked dad, but all he could say is,
"Since your son is a genius he will probably figure something out.",
i have to figure something to do, but for now i can live my quiet and peaceful life...
A large explosion was heard from one of the nearby hall.
Students were all gathered round the explosion center.
"What's going on?"
"What's the cause of these explosion?"
Student were all trying to get the full scope of what was going on.
"Ren, let's go check it out."
"Check what out?"
"The cause of the explosion."
"Why?"
"What do you mean why, it will be fun to see what caused the whole explosion."
"And?"
"What do you mean 'and' don't you want to witness whatever is going on there firsthand."
"No i don't want to."
"Why?, aren't you a little bit curious?"
"No, not at all."
She pouts, looking at me like she was angry.
"Listen Ellen, what ever caused that explosion isn't normal, it blew the roof up into the sky, and you think you can just go there, do you have any means of protection if anything happens to you?"
"No i don't, but what is the possibility of something just coming for me?"
"Ellen, listen, the possibility anything goes wrong in a fight is always 50-50, but what makes the situation a terrible one is that, most of those student gathered there already have there system to protect them, for we that do not have the system yet all we can do is just wait for a while until you all receive your system."
"Okay."
she replied grudgingly, we were walking past the incident center when a sword from no where was flying from the sky, and we watched it stab a student in the chest. Ellen could not believe what just happened she saw a student gets stabbed straight in the chest but surprisingly no one was paying attention to the student, she tried to go and help but the student removed the sword and he healed almost instantly and he continued walking like nothing happened.
"What's going on!" she yelled shaking me violently.
Regeneration isn't something special, but among normal mortals, i am also surprised.
"I don't know please stop shaking me." i said with a shaky voice.
"You saw it right!, not like i was the only one seeing things!, that boy just pulled out a sword from his heart, and he healed back like nothing ever happened."
"I think that's one of the advantages of the system, things like that would easily heal."
"Why are you not acting surprised?!"
I just messed with fate a little bit, that sword was coming directly at us, well not me but her, so i stopped for a moment to allow a student that has the blessings of the system to walk right in front of us, and receive the sword in the chest for her.
"I am surprised, but i guess things like these do happen when you walk around during a fight."
"Then let's hurry up into the class!"
"Sure."
On our way while running to our class, we saw the student councils running towards the place of incident.
Life and Death has just been tampered with by these so called system, they are giving humans way too much power, if they know that biological means of death ceased it's effect on them the moment they received their powers, how would they react, now that they have been granted eternal life and regeneration against all attacks, and with what i have heard and seen even if they are killed, they would always resurrect, and with their consciousness already tied to the system, they have transcended the border of life and death, they were killed before the system was giving to them, even if it's just for a moment, they are truly immortals.
