"I think we have passed by this place before." Erik, a level 17 student with light brown hair and black eyes spoke in a slightly hesitant voice.
He had a lean build, and a massive shield, almost as tall as he was, rested in his hands. His expression was frustrated as he stared at the constantly shifting walls around him.
"If Jake were here, we might've been able to find our way more easily with his help," Kai said in a grumpy tone as he walked beside Erik.
Kai was a short level 18 student with two daggers gripped tightly in his hands.
Both Kai and Erik were from the first-year normal class, and they had met only a few minutes after wandering through the maze.
After encountering one another, they decided to travel together, but even after more than twenty minutes, they still couldn't determine where they were. The walls of the maze shifted continuously, making it nearly impossible to find a stable route.
