The old man and his granddaughter appeared out of thin air. They stood atop a rooftop, watching as two powerful persons frantically searched around. It was right around now that the old man smirked, doing so for two reasons.
"Who would've thought that disciple of mine would nearly notice my existence? His intuition has sharpened over the years," he murmured. "And that kid—playing two veteran Master Mages for fools at his age; he's truly a once-in-a-millennium genius."
Siya, his granddaughter with long white hair, tilted her head. She was puzzled. What was so great about that? She didn't understand.
Seeing the adorably bewildered expression she was making, the old man chuckled.
