Chapter 1 - starlight strings

main characters;

Roy 17> shy, artistic, keep a sketchbook full of dreams he's too afraid to speak out loud.

 Aoi 18> gentle but mysterious new student with silvery hair and eyes and a violin that sings like stardust

Chapter 1; The boy who hears the stars

Roy never believed in fate...until Aoi transferred into his class one rainy morning. There was something different about him, like he wasn't from this world. when their hands brushed accidentally, Roy felt a soft tug... like an invisible thread pulling his heart.

that night, Roy dreamed of stars falling gently from the sky, and Aoi beneath them, waiting.

Chapter 2; The sound of silence

Roy set by the classroom window tracing invisible lines across his sketchbook. He couldn't stop thinking about Aoi... the violin, the dream, the strange warmth he felt when their fingers brushed.

at lunch, Roy finally gathered the courage to speak.

roy[softly]; "Do you... believe in fate?"

Aoi looked up from his bento, eyes reflecting the sky outside. He smiled gently.

Aoi; "Fate? I believe in strings. some we see. Most we don't."

That night, Roy wandered into into the music room, drawn by a haunting melody. Aoi stood along, playing the violin. The bow glided like air, and the notes shimmered like moonlight.

But behind Aoi, something strange flickered ~threads of starlight connected to his back like wings... only visible foe a second.

Roy[whispering]; "what are you"

Aoi didn't answer. Instead, he stepped forward and placed a small, glowing string in Roy's hand.

Roi

"Sometime, music finds the one who are meant to listen."

Chapter 3; "The sound that reached me"

the next few days passed like a dream. Every lunch break, Aoi would find Roy under the cherry tree with his sketchbook. They never said much ~ but somehow, it felt like they said everything.

One afternoon, Aoi leaned in and pointed to one of Roy's drawings.

Aoi [smiling ]

"is this me"

Roy's face turned rad.

Roy;

"No ~ I mean...maybe... it's not finished"

Aoi;

"Even unfinished, I like it. You see things others don't."

Roy looked away, flustered, but his heart felt full ~ the way it only did when drawing... or when Aoi smiled.

That evening, it rained again. Roy forgot his umbrella, but Aoi was waiting at the gate, holding his.

as they walked home together under it, Roy finally asked;

Roy;

"you're not... normal, are you?"

Aoi stayed quiet for a moment, then stopped walking. The rain around them seemed to pause.

He opened his violin case and showed Roy something hidden beneath the velvet lining~ a glowing shard f crystal shaped like a teardrop.

Aoi [softly];

"My real home isn't here. I come looking for a sound... the one I heard in my dreams. And when I heard you laugh for the first time... it matched."

Roy's heart skipped. He didn't know what to say.

So he just smiled ~ and touched Aoi's hand.

Roy;

"Than maybe... You're where you belong now."

Chapter 4; "Where our hands met"

The weather turned colder.

That week, Roy caught a light fever and stayed home from school. On the third day, a knock came at his door ~ Aoi, holding a small thermos and a quiet smile.

Aoi;

"I made you ginger soup. it helps... I think."

They sat quietly on the floor of Roy's room, wrapped in blankets. Roy's head rested near Aoi's shoulder. The TV played a quiet anime in the background, but neither was watching.

Aoi [looking down];

" Roy... do you always draw people you care about?"

Roy hesitated.

Roy [softly];

"...only when I'm scared I'II forget how they made me feel."

The silence was soft. Comfortable.

Then ~ Roy accidentally bumped his sketchbook, and a drawing flittered out. A small portrait of Aoi... asleep under the stars.

Aoi reached for it, but Roy panicked and grabbed it back.

Roy [rushing]; "No~ don't! It's not done, and it's weird, I know~"

Aoi [gently]; "... It's beautiful,"

But then, Roy misunderstood Aoi's quiet gaze. He thought it was pity.

So, heart thudding, he stood up.

Roy;

"You don't have to pretend to care, Aoi. I get it. you're kind to everyone."

A beat of silence.

Then Aoi stood, too, and slowly took Roy's hand.

Aoi [softly but firmly];

"I'm not pretending. You're the first person who made this world feel like home,"

He took the glowing shard from his pocket ~ it pulsed, just once.

And Roy realized:

That light wasn't just magic. It was a heartbeat~ and it had matched his.
