The moment Clint and the duke stepped through the tall wooden doors, a small bell chimed above their heads. The sound was quickly swallowed by the noise inside.
The shop was large bigger than Clint had expected with rows of wooden shelves, tall glass cabinets, and iron cages stacked neatly along the walls. Strange glowing stones floated gently in the air, lighting the room with a soft golden glow.
The air was filled with many scents herbs, metal, parchment, and even the faint musk of beasts. Somewhere deeper inside, a soft roar echoed, followed by the sound of flapping wings.
"This merchant is known for trading rare goods. You might even find something from beyond the empire here."
Before Clint could reply, a voice called out from the back.
"Welcome, welcome!"
