Chapter 87: Little O-Lin - Thunder Bagua!

The blade, glowing with an ominous green light, swept out, and black and red arcs of electricity flashed and crackled out of thin air. The sharp edge, wreathed in black and red arcs, cut a perfect crescent moon through the air, instantly reflected in Cabanha's eyes.

The cold, merciless gaze and the familiar sword-swinging posture made Cabanha freeze for a moment. Another face, a middle-aged one with a wild, unrestrained smile, appeared in his mind.

The next moment, the young man's words in front of him overlapped with the middle-aged voice from the depths of his memory.

"Divine Departure..."

Conqueror's Haki erupted, scattering the falling snow. Streaks of black and red lightning shot across the sea, creating countless cracks in the ice.

Cabanha's pupils trembled violently, his face filled with disbelief. The wound left in his body decades ago seemed to ache faintly.

"This... this is Roger's move!!"

The blade swept past with a clear hum. The Conqueror's Haki bombarded Cabanha's body from a distance, making his eyes roll back as he spat out blood and flew sideways.

SWOOSH...

The briefly unconscious Cabanha tore through the sound barrier, flying almost parallel to the ice surface, shattering icebergs formed from frozen waves along the way. He flew across the battlefield and, under the watchful eyes of countless people, crashed headfirst into the depths of Geyr Island.

Louis raised his hand and wiped the warm blood from the blade with his gauntlet, then slowly exhaled a puff of white air.

"Average..."

...

On a distant beach, two figures, one white and one green, crisscrossed. The World-Breaker war hammer and a heavy, jet-black tin staff clashed repeatedly. Every time their weapons collided, a huge, deep pit was blasted into the frozen ground. Slabs of rock and earth shattered, flying out like liquid.

The figure that had flown over their heads and crashed into the island's interior did not distract the two fierce beasts in the heat of battle.

The forest spirit swung its staff, knocking away the pale monster with the terrifying antlers and oni horns. Then, it waved its hand, which was formed from countless intertwined vines, and inscribed strange circles on the ground behind it.

"AWOOO..."

The circles lit up with a green light, and long, ferocious wolf howls were heard. One by one, giant wolves, over ten meters tall, leaped out of the circles. Their four limbs touched down on the frozen tundra as they sprinted rapidly, crisscrossing as they charged to surround Yelena in her hybrid form.

The scarlet eyes beneath the bone-white armor above Yelena's nose moved quickly, taking in the trajectory of every giant wolf.

The next moment, Yelena plunged one of her five-sickled hands into the frozen ground at her feet.

"Grave Spike Annihilation..." Beneath her gas mask, Yelena's lips moved, and she exhaled a breath of cold air.

As the gentle voice fell, the frozen ground trembled. One by one, translucent, incredibly sharp ice spears broke through the tundra, piercing everything on the surface.

"AWOOO..."

With piercing howls, the giant wolves surrounding Yelena were instantly impaled. As far as the eye could see, a dense forest of ice spears stood, stretching to the horizon. The ice spears burst out from within the giant wolves' bodies, and warm blood flowed down the translucent ice, dyeing them a brilliant crystal red.

The next moment, the heavy, cold tin staff came crashing down on Yelena's head. The elf with the goat skull helmet had, at some point, smashed through the ice spears and was now upon her. At the same time, countless thin vines extended from his back, weaving together in mid-air to form a long whip that was both tough and hard. It created sonic booms in the atmosphere, raising visible ripples as it lashed directly at Yelena's head.

Yelena's scarlet eyes constricted, and her heart grew cold. She knew that if either of these attacks hit her with full force, it would be far worse than just coughing up a little blood. To this, Yelena made an instant decision.

She instantly deactivated her Zoan hybrid transformation, her height returning to its original state. This caused the two attacks to miss, carving a path of destruction a thousand meters long behind her. Then, in her opponent's astonished eyes, she stepped forward, instantly closing the distance to his chest, and transformed back into her hybrid form.

Her giant claws, wreathed in Armament Haki, swept out, severing the vines. The World-Breaker war hammer pulled arcs of Haki lightning from the air and, in an upward swing, struck her opponent's chin.

BANG—

A sky-shaking roar, a ripple in the atmosphere. With one blow, the forest spirit spat out blood, which gushed from under the goat skull.

Yelena gripped the war hammer with both hands, leaped up, and instantly appeared in front of her stunned enemy. The war hammer, wreathed in Armament Haki, was swung like a bolt of lightning.

BOOM—

A roar like a ferocious thunderclap suddenly erupted. Where steel and flesh met, a powerful impact burst forth, creating a ring-shaped shockwave with a hundred-meter radius in mid-air. The powerful blow made the already disoriented goat-skull's consciousness even fuzzier. With a whistling sound, he was sent flying backward.

Yelena landed, and her digitigrade hooves struck the ground, creating a huge, deep pit in the frozen tundra. The next moment, Yelena looked up sharply, her gaze locked on the flying figure. The explosive power from her reversed-joint legs sent her leaping up, sprinting and jumping across the increasingly rugged battlefield. As she moved, a continuous whistling sound was heard, and the chaotic hurricane mixed with snowflakes, making the airflow's trajectory visible to the naked eye.

BOOM—

Yelena's hooves shattered the surface of the ground, leaving a trail of destruction as she launched herself into the air again.

The goat-skull's consciousness returned. He gritted his teeth and looked toward the source of the sound, only to find a flanged mace covered in sharp protrusions once again reflected in his eyes.

BOOM—

Above the battlefield where the Marines and giants were fighting, a tremendous roar sounded again, torturing the eardrums of the soldiers.

The teeth under the goat skull shattered, and his nasal bone broke. The goat-skull was sent flying backward again, whistling through the snow-filled sky as his tin staff flew from his grasp and fell onto the ice field.

The rapidly descending Yelena quickly scanned the battlefield, taking everything in, and then shouted, "Dorry, send me up!"

"Gegyagyagyagya!"

The greatsword arrived with a heroic laugh. The broad side of the blade accurately struck Yelena's deer-like, digitigrade legs.

BANG—SWOOSH—

Yelena used the force to launch herself into the air again. She held the war hammer above her head with both hands, spinning rapidly.

In the dim sky, dark clouds gathered, and lightning flashed. The pale figure soared against the lightning, directly reaching a position above the goat-skull.

The next moment, Yelena's scarlet eyes narrowed slightly. The war hammer above her head stopped spinning and came down like a lightning strike. In that instant, ten thousand thunders intertwined in the dark clouds, illuminating the terrifying figure with oni horns, swinging the war hammer in a visible arc.

With a terrifying roar of thunder, the war hammer, wreathed in powerful Haki and lightning, came crashing down, striking the old goat-skull man on the head.

BOOM—

Amidst the roar of ten thousand thunders, the powerful Haki and shockwave combined, scattering the clouds and mist in a radius of several thousand meters.

The heavily struck goat-skull didn't make a sound as he crashed into the hard, frozen ground at several times the speed of sound. The impact created waves in the earth like those on the sea. Then, countless cracks appeared, and the ground buckled and disintegrated inch by inch.

In mid-air, Yelena looked at the direction he had fallen, a trace of surprise flashing in her eyes. If she remembered correctly, that was the same spot where the figure that had flown over her head earlier had crashed.

THUD...

Yelena once again set foot on the ground, kicking up a large cloud of ice mist.

From within the mist that covered dozens of meters, Yelena took off her gas mask. She leaned on her war hammer and gasped for breath. Her scarlet eyes moved, staring intently into the distance. She could feel it. The aura from where that first figure had fallen was now rapidly growing stronger.

The next moment, a figure she was very familiar with was sent flying backward from the distance. Yelena saw it and subconsciously wanted to drop her war hammer to catch him. But soon, he spread his broad wings, stopped his momentum, and landed gently beside her.

Before Yelena could speak, an indescribably terrifying aura spread from the distance, scattering the falling snow.

In the large pit at the edge of her vision, a cloud of jet-black smoke, burning like fire, rose from the dust. From within the almost sky-blotting dust, a massive figure, dozens of meters tall, was faintly visible. A pair of crimson horns pierced through the smoke.

Bat wings with a wingspan of over a hundred meters extended from the smoke. With a powerful flap, the dust was instantly dispersed, revealing a beast from hell to the world.

The entirely crimson demon extended a goat's hoof and stamped it heavily on the snow-covered ground. Its upper body was wreathed in a jet-black smoke that burned and danced like fire. Its arms, covered in rock-like muscles, held a red battle-axe and a long, barbed whip, respectively.

"Is this... a demon?"
