Chapter 245 - Chapter 245: Take My Sword!

The void suddenly collapsed.

In an instant, the surface of the entire planet was webbed with countless crimson cracks, teetering on the brink of annihilation.

An eerie power of rules emerged locking onto Levos with absolute certainty, as if nothing in existence could escape its sentence.

The collapse accelerated, spreading outward at a terrifying speed.

The unlucky planet was torn into fragments and erased into the starry expanse.

A God of Destruction unleashing their full strength didn't just shake a battlefield it shattered the balance of an entire sector of space, even altering the orbits of countless worlds.

The gods watching retreated again and again, until they finally joined forces to raise a barrier and hold position at the edge of the combat zone.

Inside the barrier, Quitela wore a face like he was about to cry.

At this rate, he wouldn't have a Fourth Universe left to manage.

"Belmod, that's enough already!" Quitela snapped. "Are you trying to kill someone, or are you trying to erase my entire universe?!"

"Shut up!" Belmod's empty eyes burned. His power continued to build clearly refusing to stop short of the absolute limit.

"I've never seen Belmod this angry… He's actually releasing everything."

"And among all Gods of Destruction, he's easily top three. Going this far against a mere mortal feels… excessive."

"His strength is even higher than before. Looks like he's been hiding plenty all along."

The gods chattered excitedly, like they were enjoying a show.

Only Quitela and the Fourth Universe's Supreme Kai, Kuru looked sick with worry.

"Quitela, Kuru… eliminating the Seventh Universe's contestants is to save all universes," other gods comforted them. "Your universe's sacrifice is worth it…"

Before long, Belmod's Destruction energy reached its peak.

Two streaks of violet lightning shot from his eyes. He raised a hand and cleaved down at Levos with savage force.

All matter in the path of that strike compressed and collapsed.

"DIE!" Belmod howled, laughing wildly.

His hand-blade crossed space in an instant, shattering the shield and slamming into Levos's neck.

Bzzz !

Space broke apart layer after layer. Endless tearing force spilled out, as if it meant to swallow everything until nothing remained.

Whole star systems ignited in purple flame. Countless planets burst into dazzling fireworks.

Under that nightmare shockwave, the gods could only grit their teeth and keep the barrier intact none of them dared approach the center.

The quake in space lasted a long time.

Only when the Destruction energy finally dispersed and the aftershocks weakened did the fractured space begin to mend, and the view return.

In that moment, every eye widened in stunned disbelief.

The star system where the barren planet had been was gone reduced to dust.

In its place was a pitch-black energy vortex.

It showed no sign of closing. Instead, it slowly expanded.

No one knew where it led, but the destructive power within it made their souls go cold.

And yet

The most shocking part was this:

Levos, Belmod's target, was completely unharmed.

"How is that possible?! A Destruction divine technique infused with rule-power couldn't erase a mortal?!"

"He doesn't even have a scratch!"

"How did he block it?"

"Was it Puar? Did that girl sacrifice herself and take the hit for Levos?"

"Damn it he got lucky and slipped through!"

Inside the cube ship, the moment they saw Levos still standing, everyone exhaled hard.

"Buu, go! Heal Levos now!"

Bados stopped them with an amused smile. "No need. Mr. Levos isn't injured at all."

"Wha…?"

They were too stunned to speak. Confusion churned in their chests like a knot.

Piccolo frowned, thinking fast then his expression changed. "Wait… Puar didn't she didn't really…"

At the edge of the black vortex

Levos tugged at the limp battle suit on his body, his eyes full of pain.

He immediately formed a shield.

A moment later

"I can't believe it…" Puar's voice trembled with disbelief. "That God of Destruction's attack was like… a tickle. It didn't hurt at all!"

"Young Master Levos, we really survived! You're okay thank goodness!"

"Don't worry about me," Levos said, voice steady. "Worry about yourself. A Saiyan body can't survive in open space. You passed out just now."

Across from him, Belmod stared at Levos like he'd seen a ghost.

"How… how is this possible?!" he muttered, unable to accept it.

Levos wore a faint smile. "A God of Destruction's full-power strike is definitely terrifying."

Belmod roared, shaking with rage. "I don't believe it! That level of attack how could a mortal possibly stop it?!"

Levos calmly pushed Belmod's hand aside. "You'll know soon enough. The next strike… I'll use all my power."

"W-What?" Sweat beaded on Belmod's forehead. "Y-You… you still weren't going all out?!"

The other gods were just as shaken. They couldn't believe Levos yet they couldn't explain how he'd survived that blow either.

What was even stranger

That horrifying explosion hadn't touched a single inch of space behind Levos.

Behind him, the starfield was perfectly quiet. Not even a ripple.

As if nothing had happened at all.

Meaning the Fourth Universe hadn't been erased… because Levos had completely defended against a God of Destruction's full-power strike.

The gods felt their scalps go numb.

They'd experienced that collision firsthand. Even through the barrier, the force had been clear world-ending, universe-erasing.

It truly had enough power to wipe out the entire Fourth Universe.

And yet

Levos had stopped it.

It was absurd. It overturned everything they believed they knew.

Belmod ground his teeth. "You're not a normal human! Tell me where the hell did you come from?!"

Levos didn't bother answering. Since the game only ended with death… then it was time to end this farce as quickly as possible.

Behind him, a divine halo slowly formed.

A pure-white ring radiant but not blinding spreading a calm, peaceful aura.

The moment the gods saw it, the crowd exploded.

"How does he have… a halo?!"

"No wonder! As long as a halo exists, it can block any fatal damage!"

"That's impossible how could a mortal possess something like that?!"

"Even if it's fake, we still have to plan how to kill him!"

The instant Belmod saw the halo, sweat poured down his face.

His voice was dry and hoarse. "You have divine power in you… you're barely qualified to stand among the gods. How about we end the game here…"

"Too late," Levos refused. "You chose to be my enemy. I won't hold back."

As he spoke, the halo behind him became more and more solid.

Puar transformed excitedly into a massive greatsword. "Young Master Levos, I'm ready!"

Levos nodded with a smile and gripped the hilt with both hands.

The blade rose high.

Belmod suddenly realized a vast shadow had swallowed him whole. His body went stiff as he looked up.

A colossal phantom spanning heaven and earth enveloped his opponent.

Within that giant silhouette was pure, overwhelming divine power, seemingly endless, hammering into Belmod's body and forcing him back step by step.

In the phantom's hands, a titanic sword condensed from nothing but divine force lifted higher… higher… higher.

Belmod's body began to tremble uncontrollably.

For the first time, he understood what it meant to be small.

Right now, he felt like dust.

As if Levos was the one seated above all high, untouchable, absolute

And Belmod was the mortal, kneeling in the dirt.
