Chapter 117 - Golden Age

‎Monoliths had become embelems of bygone turbulent Era, a chapter taught in history, that no one wanted to remember.

‎Nomad was permanently stationed at Nomad City. Now a more dormant and silent guardian of Andromedan spaces. All missions strictly related to home galaxy.

‎Nomad operated directly under the Andromeda Security Council's wing.

‎The decade marked the most peaceful era in galactic history. Civilizations were coming together. Andromeda was rising as a galaxy, a new generation leading the force. New heroes had emerged in all areas of life, from the social sector to the military and even among independent contractors.

‎Eve spent most of her time with the gifted children in the palace. Sappherine's daughter, Oceana, was one of them.

‎Eve finally had a family of her own. Zara had permanently moved to Saiyara and settled down. Kayden got married. Axel became the operational head of Nomad City. Tina finally found her mother's niche, technology and gear. Nomad City became her playground.

‎The Soul Drifter missions had nearly ceased, so Eve kept it for herself for fast transits.

‎As time passed, Eve opened a government-funded university for archaeologists. She often taught classes as a lecturer, even leading field trips, taking her students to ruins of Andromeda she had explored during her lifetime.

‎Apart from that, she also took the Soul Drifter for a spin to explore uncharted areas of Sanctriam, unearthing its hidden secrets, bringing back artifacts for her university's museum collection. In no time, the Saiyaran Archaeological Institute became one of the most extensive libraries of information in the galaxy, attracting students, visitors, and delegations from across the universe.

‎Sometimes, there were these picnic expeditions, Eve would camp for a day or two with her students, uncovering new relics. Sappherine, Oceana, and her immediate crew joined off and on, just for the fun of it.

‎Ten years after her powers had ceased, since Eve became human, she looked almost forty-five, still stunning as ever. Though she never sought a relationship, thinking of dating sorrowed her heart. She still loved, Skybreak.

‎In every sense, Eve had managed to become a normal human being like any other. She had family, friends, and students—everything she could have wanted in her human life.

‎But she never hesitated when her galaxy was in need. Even when few, challenges that threatened her planet reignited the old flame in her. Nomad was always on standby. Once or twice a year, when Nomad returned to Saiyara after a mission, the entire city gathered to greet their queen after each successful return.
