Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 - The Pendant They Failed to Destro

Silence consumed the chamber.

The kings had thought themselves gods once - deciders of destiny. Now they faced the legacy they had tried to bury.

Elder Solarin studied the pendant, fingers brushing its edges. It pulsed in his palm like a heartbeat.

"This pendant," he said slowly, "was forged to track soulles across realms."

"We thought it gone," the King of Time whispered. "Destroyed with the last of Asharim."

"One piece remained," the woman answered. "They gave it to me. lt still responds to Serenya's blood."

The God-King spoke for the first time.

"Why bring this to us?"

"Because you need to understand," she said. "The Eight are no longer hidden.

They are being watched. And the one watching... is from a bloodline you failed to destroy."

Solarin stared at baby in his arms.

"Isara is not one of the Eight. But her sister can see what we cannot. And you, all of you... need to stop pretending you're still in control."

The King of Ice muttered:

"What if Serenya is the key? Not a threat... but a mirror."

"Then we're already behind," said the King of Space.

"And the game," whispered the King of Time, "has already begun."
