Vivienne brought Mila in her room and said happily, "Come Mila, this is your room. Mumma has specially designed it for you. Do you like it dear?"
Mila looked at Vivienne but didn't reply. Vivienne didn't mind Mila's silence and continued showing the toys and other things she had bought to her daughter.
"See. I've even bought coloring books for you." Vivienne asked Mila, "Honey, do you like coloring?"
The little girl was still silent.
Vivienne made Mila sit on the bed before she asked, "Mila, what is your favorite color?"
The little one stared at her mother but still stayed silent. Vivienne had already started feeling awkward but she knew that Mila's reaction was not unusual. After all, she had not appeared before her daughter all these years. So, it was normal for Mila to feel alienated towards her.
However, she still wanted Mila to warm up to her. So, she continued talking to her daughter even though the latter barely responded to her.
