Chapter 47 - great flood

The flood came fast.

One minute, Ojaga was watching the continents slam together through Wayne Manor's reinforced windows. The next, a wall of water three hundred feet high was racing toward them.

"Flying cities, NOW!" Bruce yelled into his comm.

All 269 cities lifted off just in time. Ojaga watched their old world disappear under the waves - New York, London, Tokyo, all of it gone in minutes.

"Well, that's terrifying," Barry muttered, gripping the nearest railing as their city-ship rose above the chaos.

One Week Later - Emergency Meeting

The conference room felt cramped with everyone packed in. Outside the windows, an endless ocean stretched to the horizon. Their flying city bobbed gently on the surface like a massive boat.

"Status report," Bruce said, looking tired. Dark circles under his eyes told the story - no one had slept much.

Diana checked her tablet. "All 269 cities made it. Most are floating on the ocean surface now. A few are still airborne, but that's burning through power fast."

Clark nodded. "Casualty reports are... better than expected. Maybe a few thousand lost worldwide. Could've been millions."

"Could've been everyone," Martha added quietly.

Ojaga leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling. "Okay, so we're not all dead. That's the good news."

"What's the bad news?" Victor asked.

"Look outside, dude." Ojaga gestured toward the windows. "Seven different worlds just got smashed together like ingredients in a blender. We have no idea what's out there now."

Arthur frowned. "I've been sending scouts under the water. The ocean floor is... weird. Parts of it are completely alien. Different gravity, different physics even."

"That's why we need intel," Ojaga said, sitting up straighter. "Victor, can you send drones everywhere? I mean everywhere. All seven world-zones."

Victor nodded. "Already started. Got about fifty scout drones ready to deploy. But boss, some of the energy readings I'm getting..." He shook his head. "There's stuff out there that makes Darkseid look like a playground bully."

"Which is exactly why we scout first," Ojaga replied. "No heroes charging in blind. Not this time."

Drone Deployment

The war room buzzed with activity. Dozens of screens showed feeds from Victor's drones as they spread across the merged world.

"Drone Seven reporting from the northern continent," Victor narrated. "Looks like... a crystal forest? The trees are literally made of some kind of living gemstone."

Another screen flickered. "Drone Twelve found a city. But the buildings are upside-down. Gravity's reversed in that whole area."

Bruce studied the feeds with growing concern. "These aren't just different worlds. They're worlds with completely different rules."

"Drone Twenty-One just went dark," Victor announced. "Last reading showed something big approaching. Really big."

The screen showed static, then nothing.

"How big?" Diana asked.

"Godzilla big. Maybe bigger."

Clark rubbed his temples. "Great. So we've got reversed gravity, crystal forests, and giant monsters. What else?"

As if answering his question, Drone Fifteen's feed showed something that made everyone go quiet.

A massive structure in the distance - part pyramid, part spaceship, part something else entirely. And around it, thousands of figures moving in perfect formation.

"An army," Arthur breathed.

Barrier Protocols

"That settles it," Ojaga said, standing up. "Victor, I want energy barriers around every single city. Whatever's out there, we keep it out there until we understand it."

"On it. But the power requirements..." Victor frowned. "We'll need to tap into some serious energy sources."

Clark stepped forward. "Kara and I can help. We've been supercharging ourselves with alien solar radiation. We can power the barriers if needed."

"Good. And I want detection grids too," Ojaga continued. "Anything bigger than a seagull approaches our cities, I want to know about it."

Martha looked at all the screens showing their transformed world. "You know what's really scary? This isn't the disaster. This is just the setup."

Everyone turned to look at her.

"That spirit thing warned us, remember? About greater threats coming. What if this whole world-merger was just... preparation? Making Earth bigger for whatever's next?"

The room fell silent except for the hum of electronics.

Ojaga cracked his knuckles. "Well, then we better get ready fast."

He looked around at his family and friends. "Because ready or not, I don't think we get much choice in what comes next."

Outside, something roared in the distance. Deep, powerful, and definitely not from their original Earth.

The exploration of their new world was about to begin.
