c116 A Sudden Realization! Victory is Decided
"Won!!"
"Ohhhhhh!!"
The survivors erupted in cheers as they witnessed Trunks carve Zamasu apart. For so long, this demon had become the destroyer of their world, corrupting the skies, twisting reality, and slaughtering innocents. He had seemed invincible. But now… one Zamasu had fallen. Their hope had returned.
Thud!
Trunks collapsed to one knee, his mysterious aura fading. His breath came ragged every ounce of energy, every spark of hope from humanity had been poured into that final blow. He had nothing left.
"It looks like Trunks pulled it off," Luya muttered, watching from across the battlefield. Then he grinned, his Saiyan blood boiling. "I can't fall behind now."
Whoosh!
A sudden fist came flying at him, but Luya calmly caught it mid-air.
Zamasu's eyes widened. "How?!"
Luya smirked. "What's wrong? Is a god's will really this fragile?"
"Silence, mortal!!" Zamasu snarled, fury twisting his half-corrupted face. He swung with rage
But Luya was already faster. His aura flared crimson. "Kaiō-Ken… twenty times!!"
BAM!!
His fist drove into Zamasu's stomach, folding the god in half. Blood spat from Zamasu's mouth as his eyes bulged.
"Even gods can feel pain, huh?" Luya mocked with a savage grin.
Zamasu roared, lashing out wildly, but Luya vanished with Flash Time, reappearing behind him and kicking him into the ground.
BOOM!
Dust rose as Zamasu clawed himself out, trembling with rage. His fused body was breaking down his ki unstable, his mind shaken.
Luya's own aura surged, his battle instincts sharpening with each exchange. His talent was evolving mid-fight, combat power rising beyond its earlier limits. Even the Kaiō-Ken felt more fluid now, his body adapting to its strain. He could feel himself brushing against something deeper his body reacting on instinct, without thought.
Is this… the path toward true Ultra Instinct? he wondered, his eyes locked on Zamasu.
He hurled a compressed energy sphere at the god.
Zamasu countered by spitting a purple beam from his mouth Holy Wrath Vomit! and the two blasts clashed in a violent shockwave.
Zamasu lunged through the explosion, fists blazing. Luya dodged frantically at first, but then he began to notice something. When his mind blanked, his body moved on its own, slipping between strikes. For a moment, he avoided a blow without even realizing it.
"What?!" Zamasu staggered in shock. "You disappeared?!"
Luya blinked, equally stunned. His body shimmered faintly with a pale glow, then returned to normal. That… that wasn't Flash Time. My body… it moved on its own.
"System!" he barked in his mind. "Did you record that?!"
But the system replied coldly: "Host's thoughts blanked out completely. Strongest talent was inactive. No data captured."
"Tch…" Luya clicked his tongue in frustration. He had brushed against the threshold of true instinct but he couldn't grasp it yet.
Zamasu's eyes narrowed. "What trickery is this, mortal?! How did you evade me?!"
Luya grinned. "Don't worry about it. All you need to know is… I'm done running. Let's finish this!"
He condensed a crimson energy blade, clashing with Zamasu's glowing purple hand blade.

Elsewhere, Vegito Blue clashed with the true fused Zamasu. Their fists collided, shockwaves splitting the sky.
"Damn it!!" Zamasu spat, veins bulging. "Why… can't I overwhelm you?!"
Vegito smirked. "What's wrong? Is this all your godhood amounts to?"
"Silence!!!" Zamasu screamed, condensing another blade and lunging.
But before it could reach, Vegito summoned his own energy blade, stabbing Zamasu through the side. "You're not the only one who knows this move."
Zamasu coughed blood, his immortal body trembling but his hand snapped up and shattered Vegito's blade. "Mortals… wounding a god… UNFORGIVABLE!!"
He hammered Vegito with a furious punch, sending him crashing back. Yet pain flickered on his face regeneration or not, he could feel the strain.
Vegito rose, smirking through the blood. "You talk of nobility, but look at you a broken wreck."
Zamasu roared, purple energy flooding the sky. "Then perish with this world!!!"
He gathered his ultimate attack an immense sphere of divine destruction, dark lightning crackling across its surface.
Vegito thrust his hands to his side, blue aura exploding. "Turtle… HAAA!!"
The two colossal beams collided, tearing the heavens apart.
"UOOOOHHHH!!!" Vegito poured everything into his Kamehameha, forcing Zamasu back.
Zamasu's face twisted in disbelief. "No… impossible!!!"
The wave engulfed him.

At the same moment, the Zamasu clone fighting Luya screamed, clutching his head in agony as the link faltered.
Luya's eyes flashed. Now!!
He pulled every last drop of energy, forming a massive Kamehameha. "Disappear… Turtle Style Qigong!!!"
BOOOOOOM!!
His beam tore through the weakened clone.
"NOOOOO!!!"
The copy of Zamasu disintegrated, consumed in the light, until nothing remained but dust and silence.

Both gods pushed to the brink.
Both mortals awakening something new.
Victory had finally tipped.
