The others blinked in surprise.
Andine, Yuvika, and Orman had seen Fian's strength before. Pitting him against Gara, who looked smaller and weaker, seemed unfair.
"Wouldn't it make more sense for Fian to fight Madha?" Orman suggested, knowing Madha's strength was no joke either.
"It's fine. I'll fight Fian," Gara said, remembering Fian's earlier words claiming Gara was stronger. Honestly, Gara wanted to test that for himself.
Madha, initially surprised, soon realized what Fian was aiming for— recognition. The last time they fought together, Gara had contributed more, and Fian hadn't forgotten.
"What about the rest of you?" Gara asked the others.
"Yuvika, fight me," Orman said.
He knew Madha and Andine were formidable, and honestly, he'd been a bit awkward around Yuvika before— she was the daughter of his boss's friend, and he was just a subordinate.
But after spending the past few days together, things felt more casual between them.
