Fian's ice spike pierced straight into her stomach.
At that close distance, Fian could see the fear in Vania's eyes—
but it wasn't directed at him. She was terrified of something else.
"Cough!" Blood splattered from her lips.
At the same moment, the tigers —who had begun shifting their focus away from Fian— suddenly vanished into thin air.
Several students trembled violently, still shaken by the killing intent those beasts had just aimed at them.
Before Vania completely lost consciousness, Fian caught one last look in her eyes. Relief.
It was as if she was finally free.
No one dared approach her collapsed figure on the stage.
Even though Andine had always disliked Vania, her healer's instinct kicked in. She stepped forward and knelt beside her.
"She's completely drained… far beyond empty," Andine said, placing a tear-shaped pill between her fingers. "I'll give her a Healing Tear Pill, but… I'm not sure it can restore her energy core. It looks damaged."
