Chapter 82 - Mushoku Tensei: Swords, Magic Hats, and Romance! [82]

Honestly, it would've been better to post the last few chapters all together during the climax.

But the reality is—I'm still in the "new release" period, and objectively speaking, it's not the right time to put this story on the shelves.

And… I'm not exactly the fastest writer.

Thank you, truly, for sticking with me all this time.

The Tutoring Phase begins tomorrow.

Longtime readers probably know by now that my storytelling rhythm always starts slow—laying the groundwork first.

Then comes the pull.

If you were hoping to jump right into a scene where Ghislaine's carriage arrives and they're off to Roa... well, that's probably going to be a letdown.

Because that's not logical.

And honestly, it's kind of... boring.

What's exciting about retelling the exact same events from the anime?

My writing has always played around the surface of familiar story beats, while the actual plot beneath is almost entirely original. Isn't that what you came here for?

That's how I see it.

If you have any suggestions, I'm happy to hear them. I'll try to learn, absorb, and improve. If your username is familiar and we've interacted in the comments, I absolutely pay attention.

You give me a sense of recognition—and under that expectation, it's only right that I continue to improve. To write something that moves you.

That's only fair. (Raising flags, huh?)

If you've made it this far, you're probably a true fan.

Maybe you genuinely love this story, but can't support it financially because of real-life circumstances.

That's okay.

Just reading for free is enough.

Paid or not, I want to say this—

Time is valuable.

And if you're willing to "waste" that time on this story…

Isn't that a form of recognition too? :)

I need that recognition. And I truly, sincerely thank you for being here with me.

If companionship had weight—

Then surely it would be measured from April to May, from the tail of spring into the start of summer.

In the cycles of flowers blooming and falling…

In every rise and fall.
