Nami immediately covered her face in embarrassment, helpless that she actually thought Lucen was being serious about something serious.
Luffy, on the other hand, seemed enlightened and looked at Gaimon with curious eyes.
Gaimon was already sweating, dumbfounded by Lucen's question, which was very...
"ARE YOU STUPID?! THAT'S SO RUDE! I'M NOT TELLING YOU THAT!" Gaimon shouted, his face turning red.
"Uncle Cauliflower, this is a serious question. Tell us," Luffy said, looking at him with sincerity.
"Yeah, be a man and tell us," Lucen added.
"Be... a man?... Yeah, you're right. I already said I'd answer, so I will!" Gaimon nodded, as if he couldn't back out now.
"No, you didn't say anything like that! And why are you even answering that?!" Nami shouted.
Gaimon blinked as he heard Nami. "Right… I didn't say I'd definitely answer!"
"Ohhh, come on, tell us!" Lucen insisted.
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP! STOP! IT HURTS! MY NECK—HHAHAH!" Gaimon screamed as Luffy suddenly grabbed his head and began pulling.
"Shishishi~ I'm gonna get you out. Lucen, come help me!"
Lucen joined in and began pulling as well.
"STOP! I'M ALREADY ONE WITH IT!!" Gaimon screamed in pain, but Luffy and Lucen seemed too into it to stop.
"I think you guys should stop—pfff~" Nami sighed. "I have no energy to deal with the two of them..."
"OKAY, OKAY! IF YOU GUYS STOP, I'LL TELL YOU ABOUT THE TREASURE I'VE BEEN PROTECTING FOR 20 YEARS!" Gaimon shouted desperately.
"Huh?... TREASURE?!" Nami, who had been sitting idly, immediately stood up, her eyes turning into Beri symbols.
"STOP, YOU TWO!" Nami shouted and quickly came behind Luffy and Lucen—
BONK~ BONK~
"So, old man, you were talking about some treasure? Hehehe~" Nami rubbed her hands together and gave her signature smile.
"Huff~ I'm still alive…" Gaimon breathed in relief, then looked at Nami.
Lucen and Luffy also stood up.

"No one came to this island in 20 years?" Luffy asked.
Gaimon had just finished telling them his story—how he and his crew arrived here, how he saw treasure chests atop a huge stone, and how he got stuck in one and was left alone on this unnamed island.
"No, people came, but all of them were pirates. I scared them away since they came to steal my treasure—"
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WHAAAH!" Gaimon screamed mid-sentence as Lucen grabbed the edge of his chest with one hand and held a sharp pointy stone in the other.
"Oh! Didn't you say you were one with the chest? I'm just checking if it's true," Lucen said with a dazzling bright smile.
In Gaimon's horrified eyes, Lucen proceeded to test his theory—until Nami grabbed Lucen's hoodie and dragged him back.
"One is so easy to manipulate, and the other is just stupidly stubborn," Nami muttered as she yanked him away.
"Old man, we'll help bring down your treasure," Nami said seriously.
"WHAT?! Really?" Gaimon exclaimed.
Luffy looked into Nami's eyes. "Aren't you a professional thief who steals from pira—"
"DON'T SPEAK NONSENSE! I HAVE PRINCIPLES TOO!"
Then Gaimon led them to a massive stone.
"It's up there," he said, pointing excitedly toward the top, though fear lingered in his eyes somewhere.
Lucen looked at the top, then from the corner of his eye at Gaimon.
"C'mon, Luffy! Quickly go up and bring the treasure!" Nami ordered.
"Okay!" Luffy shouted and stretched his arm, grabbing the top of the stone. He was launched upward, and upon landing, he shouted, "THERE REALLY IS TREASURE UP HERE!"
Nami and Gaimon looked up to see Luffy holding one of the chests.
"There are five of them up here!"
"GOOD! THROW THEM DOWN!" Gaimon shouted. "But don't throw them on me!"
"Nope." Luffy said.
The smile on Gaimon's face froze.
"What are you doing?! Throw them down!" Nami yelled angrily.
"No. I don't feel like it." Luffy said, sitting down casually.
"Don't talk nonsense—it's not your treasure!" Nami snapped.
"It's okay," Gaimon said quietly, his head lowered.
"What? It's your treasure." Nami looked at him, confused.
"You really are a good person…" Gaimon said, looking up as tears fell from his eyes.
"What happened?" Nami asked, puzzled.
Gaimon then confessed that he had long suspected the treasure chests were actually empty.
"Yup! Every last one of them," Luffy confirmed.
"Ahhh, what's the point of all that drama if you were just going to tell us they're empty?!" Lucen said from the side, bored.
"WHAT?! YOU INSENSITIVE JERK!" Nami grabbed Lucen's hoodie and shook him furiously.
On the side, Luffy smiled and said, "It's fine. There's still the One Piece out there! Why don't you join us?"
"What? The One Piece?!" Gaimon exclaimed.
"Yeah, I still have man—"
Before Lucen could finish, Nami hurled him away.
"Seriously, how can someone be this insensitive!"

"You're really not coming with us, Uncle Cauliflower?" Luffy asked again.
They were already near the shore, preparing to leave the island.
"No. I still want to stay here and take care of these guys," Gaimon said with a smile, looking at the mutant animals.
"Hmm… you're right. They are very cute. Many people would want to take them," Lucen said seriously.
BONK!
"Put that back!" Nami shouted, seeing Lucen holding a mutant pig.
"But it's so cute…" Lucen said helplessly.
"No means no! Didn't you hear? It's the old man's treasure—you can't steal someone else's treasure!" Nami scolded with her arms crossed.
"Hmph. Don't lecture me, thief," Lucen muttered.
"What? What was that? I didn't hear you."
"Nothing! Here, go, little guy." Lucen let the pig go, and it ran back to Gaimon, who was still talking with Luffy.
"I believe you can get the One Piece."
"Shishishi~ You bet!" Luffy grinned.
Gaimon smiled. "Looks like it's time for goodbye. I'll remember you guys."
"Yeah! Us too!" Lucen and Luffy shouted as they headed back to the boat.
"He sure was interesting," Nami said.
After reaching the boat, they soon set sail again.
"Yo! You're finally up, Zoro!" Lucen said as he saw Zoro waking up.
"Huh? Where are we? Weren't we on an island?" Zoro asked, looking around at the open sea.
"You slept the whole time. You even missed meeting an interesting guy," Luffy said.
"What guy?"
"A chest-man," Lucen replied.
"Chest-man??"
