"Emily, please don't engage them. A war with them would put us at risk to protect this world. If we lose more people on our side, we won't be able to close the portal," Brad said, concerned about the balance of their world.

Adam hugged Emily, understanding how much she had been through. "You saved me and changed reality for my happiness even when you had no memories. Your words protected me. Your powers saved me. He saw Emily's eyes, now filled with the pain of her past, and Adam wished to be the one who could fill them back with happiness.
