Chapter 16 - Blade-Man Jonjimo

CHAPTER 00016

Akar rolled around on the floor, dodging the intense blows that his opponents were giving. It was difficult to maneuver now, especially with the injuries he had endured. He still pushed through though, and finally took advantage of a moment his opponents stopped to jump to his feet.

Through his scars, Akar continued to battle - sometimes needing to manuever quickly to turn his enemies' attacks towards each other. Still wielding both of his blades, he finally was able to emerge victorious, raising his bloodied blade at Kitzimo.

"Anything else you want to throw at me?" His disheveled and worn-down attitude quickly turned snarky as he regained his confidence. To his suprise, though, Kitzimo didn't say a word back this time. He simply grinned menacingly and nodded.

Following his gaze, Akar concluded the issue. Someone was behind him. He began to turn around, but it was too late. He quickly found himself in a headlock via an arm that was nearly as sharp as a sword.

Instead of the attacker, Kitzimo explained the phenomenon. "Jonjimo here has limbs that resemble blades. He can decapitate you with the flick of his wrist." Kitzimo smiled maliciously. "Good luck making it this time."

Akar took their moment of gloating to escape the headlock, kicking back into Jonjimo for him to release just enough so he could drop to the ground.

Rolling to freedom, he quickly dodged one of the metal man's attacks, flipping back up to his feet in time to block another attack.

Or so he thought. But his timing was slightly off. Jonjimo's arm grazed his, gashing deep into his flesh due to its sharp nature. Through an agonizing scream, Akar maintained his block.

Hurdling backward in deflection, he immediately placed his healthy arm on his wound, but was stopped immediately after his opponent came charging forward at him, arms raised, preparing to jump in hopes to utilize his legs as well.

For now, all Akar could do was dodge his attacks and pray for a miracle.
