Episode 2 – Between Orders and Hesitation
[Scene 1 – The Boss's Office – Dim lights, thick smoke from his cigar fills the air. Elyar stands before the Boss, eyes fixed on the screen displaying Rei's photo.]
Boss (calmly but firmly):"Her name is Rei. Just a child, as you can see… but with a mind sharp enough to crash governments if used correctly."
Elyar (throws the file on the table):"She's only fourteen! Just a girl… How can she possibly matter? There are thousands like her."
Boss (smirks, sinister):"No, not like her. She's special. Smart, defiant… and most importantly—easy to break."
Elyar (frowns):"I don't manipulate kids. That's not what I do."
Boss (steps closer, face to face):"I'm not asking for your opinion, Elyar… I'm giving you an order."
Elyar (coldly, beneath clenched teeth):"And what if I refuse?"
Boss (deadly calm):"If you won't bring her… I will."He pauses. His voice drops to a chilling tone:"And you know very well what happens… when I decide to act personally."
[Close-up of Elyar's face – his eyes widen slightly. Memories flash: blood, screams, his mother's face distorted in fear.]
Boss (steps back, exhales smoke):"Make her trust you. Lower her guard. Manipulate her… Until she's mine."
[Scene 2 – Dim room – First appearance of Himura – standing across from the Boss, his eyes glint with spite.]
Boss:"That boy… has no idea who she truly is."
Himura (curious):"Who is she, really?"
Boss (dark chuckle):"Rei is the daughter of an FBI officer. Trained in cybersecurity by top agents. But somehow… they failed to lock away her heart."
Himura (smirking):"And you want to own that heart?"
Boss:"No. I want to exploit it—before it explodes in my face."
[Scene 3 – Elyar's Room – Night – He sits on his bed, staring at Rei's image on the screen, face twisted in conflict.]
Narration:"Everyone he ever got close to… he lost. And now, he's told to get close again—just to lose once more."
Elyar (whispers to himself):"Will I be the reason she falls?Or the wall that protects her from falling worse?"
[Scene 4 – School Courtyard – Rei walks alone, spots Elyar from a distance. Hesitant at first, then walks over to him.]
Rei (shyly):"Hi… again!"
Elyar (expressionless):"Hello."
Rei:"I just wanted to say… sorry again."
Elyar:"Do you always apologize this much?"
Rei (nervous laugh):"Uh… maybe because I'm always getting into awkward situations."
[Pause – Rei looks down, then smiles softly.]
Rei:"I'm Rei, by the way."
Elyar (slight pause):"...Elyar."
[Scene 5 – School Rooftop – Elyar stands alone, the wind playing with his hair.]
Narration:"Between his dead heart… and her innocent face, true danger was born."
[Scene 6 – Criminal Headquarters – The Boss watches Rei's image on the screen, then turns to Himura.]
Boss:"Keep an eye on the boy. If he fails… the task is yours."
Himura (grins darkly):"With pleasure."
