_Chapter Begins_
The night sky of Hell was all but empty; it was like a void of darkness that stretched endlessly.
But, deep in that darkness, seven bright lights could be seen holding the darkness back.
Each of these seven planets somehow produced light despite them not being stars.
And even stranger than that was the fact that each planet produced light that varied in color.
Green, purple, brown, pale red, deep red, pink, and the most surprising of all…
Black.
Yeah, one of the planets really had a light that somehow had a dark radiance to it.
Which should not be possible, since darkness is the absence of light, so how was the light giving out a dark radiance?
Well, trying to explain this type of stuff with mundane science and logic simply didn't work.
This was Hell after all—anything was possible.
In fact, somewhere on one of those seven planets, there probably was a guy fighting a giant wooden monster while trying to protect his sister, who he had crossed paths with by pure chance.
That type of scenario would sound outlandish to a normal person, but here in Hell, it was a common occurrence.
Chaos ruled Hell.
Well... it was more like chaos was Hell itself.

William had stepped out of the reflection that was created by the eye of the abomination.
If his other two plans had been considered risky and desperate, then this one was simply a suicide attempt.
It really wasn't even a plan, because there was no strategy or thinking behind it.
He wanted to use his ability to jump into the reflection of the glass shards and hopefully glide to his sister before the abomination caught up.
There were so many issues with this plan that you could probably fill a paper with how many there were.
What if his reflection travel wasn't faster than the monster?
What if the monster destroyed one of the glass shards that William was traveling through?
And even if he got to his sister before the abomination, what would he do after?
He didn't know if he could pull other people into the reflections, so trying to pull his sister with him was a big gamble.
And trying to just outrun the abomination without using his ability was out of the question for one simple reason—the abomination was just too damn fast.
It was so fast, in fact, that William's eye couldn't even perceive its movement.
And William wasn't even a mundane human—his body and soul had been altered by the purple orb—but despite that, he still had no chance of even reacting to the abomination's movement, let alone outrunning it.
So... what could he do?
Well, he could always try to fight it...
William gritted his teeth as he threw his first step on the physical world.
"If I am truly favored by fate, then... please let this all work out somehow."
Yeah... William's brilliant plan was to hope and pray that fate itself would somehow get him out of this situation.
The amount of stupidity in this plan was truly worthy of a trophy.
But... it worked.
Fate was truly looking out for him.
The moment William's foot hit the ground—a loud boom roared across the labyrinth of glass shards.
The space that separated him from his sister disappeared in a single second.
But of course, this sudden burst of speed William had achieved had caught him completely off guard.
So instead of landing next to his sister, he instead crashed into the massive glass shard that was behind her.
She was lucky that he hadn't accidentally crashed into her.
The massive glass shard immediately exploded as soon as William made contact with it.
Which was weird since the glass shards were supposed to be super durable.
The only thing William had seen destroy these glass shards was the wooden abomination.
And you know what else was weird?
William was not dead.
No human body was supposed to survive crashing into something at that type of speed.
So the question was...
How was he suddenly so fast and durable?
There was only one possible answer that William could think of.
But he threw away all these thoughts—as right now he had some much more important stuff to do.
William slowly stood up with a grimace.
He wasn't dead, but that didn't mean that he wasn't hurt.
But after experiencing dying twelve times by the vile wooden abomination, this body ache he was having was comparable to stubbing his toe.
He wobbled from side to side for a little bit, but eventually, he got his balance back.
William rubbed his temple.
"Well... maybe fighting the damned monster isn't out of the equation now."
With this new speed and durability, William could maybe try and fight the wooden abomination.
"Not this again..."
Just like in the church, he was back to this.
The logical part of his brain was telling him to use this newfound speed to get away, while his pride was telling him to use this newfound power to fight the monster and get revenge for the twelve times it had killed him.
Back in the church, he had chosen pride over logic and curiosity over safety, and it had not ended well for him.
He wasn't going to make the same mistake again...
Maybe.
Eh... he probably would make that mistake again actually.

"What... the hell was that!"
She was already beyond confusion with all the things that had happened to her.
But now... it truly was getting out of hand.
Someone or something had just crashed into the glass shards behind her with the speed of a fighter jet.
And not only that, but in the distance, she could see some type of hellish creature that was slowly closing in on her position.
"I have already gone through so much crap... and this place wants to throw more at me?!"
She gritted her teeth and looked at the approaching abomination with a hateful gaze.
The abomination was really taking its sweet time to arrive.
Was it because the monster was naturally slow?
.....
"No way."
She looked back at the rubble of glass shards that had been created by the thing that had flown toward her with terrible speed.
"Is it... trying to be careful of whatever that thing was?"
Was the wooden abomination wary of the creature that had crashed behind her, and that was the reason for its slow approach?
She scoffed and looked back at the wooden abomination.
"Did I just interrupt a fight between two abominations?"
That was probably what had happened.
"This just isn't great for me, huh."
In front of her was a giant wooden monster, and behind her was some type of abomination that could fight the thing that stood in front of her.
The situation seemed hopeless.
But maybe not completely...
She wasn't unarmed after all.
She took a stance and gripped the handle of her elegant dagger.
That dagger had a very unique design.
But its design wasn't the only unique thing about it.
She smiled darkly.
"Bring it on!"
