Ordinary, Lu Chong would have to keep his strength at the Black iron-tier intermediate grade to deal with a sandman in the White silver-tier elementary grade.

Hui Teng decided to play it safe and managed to survive for 5 minutes and 13 seconds by keeping his strength a grade lower than today's assigned combat strength.
"Only by having an advance-tier skill can one survive until the entire 15 minutes is up using the combat strength assigned by the lord."
Maris muttered as he watched Man Nao's battle.
The pudao soldier was able to upgrade his skill to the intermediate-tier using the one hour training session in the Hall of Truth, but he still couldn't survive through the time limit.
He was ousted after 11 minutes and 21 seconds from the ranch containing the wild sand believers.
The archers finally had a different score line in their combat training after they each handle a monster ranch of their own.
Huang Sai stayed true to his reputation.

Aware that he couldn't sustain his elemental arrows if he used them to pin the limbs of the black tailed fog scorpion, he decided to maim their entire eight limbs.
With 36 elemental arrows taking out at least 70 to 80 limbs, the archer walked out of the monster ranch after 46 seconds.
The reason for the extra 24 seconds was because of how deep the White silver-tier fog scorpions were moving.
As for Sun Can...
He walked out of the monster ranch containing the desolate fog lizards after 8 seconds.
Looking at his lord, he gave his reason.

The 23 White silver-tier elementary grade fog lizards were all pinned deep underground by his arrows.

Bai Yung thought while keeping his eyes away from Maris.
The only one who was still able to look at the soul reaper despite his fright was Lu Chong.

He muttered as he watched Maris walking into the monster ranch Sun Can stepped out of.
The moment Maris came within a certain distance from the desolate fog lizards, they began retreating in fear and terror.
Forcing the fog lizards back with every step he took, Maris stepped into the monster ranch before activating his battlefield technique.
Instantly, an eerie aura shrouded the fog lizards within an area of 5km square in front of him.
Taking a step forward, he suddenly vanished from the view of the fog monsters before reappearing 10 seconds later.
Behind him, rows of monsters began dropping lifelessly to the ground.
