EMMA
Xander's throat bobbed up and down and I thought I was finally going to get the apology I deserved. Not that it would make me hate him and his brothers any less, but still...
Instead what I got was, "Emma, please... I don't want to fight."
"Are you freaking kidding me right now?" I shouted, kicking open the door when it started to close again.
"Out! Xander out!"
Dropping the papers on my bed, he approached me, palms up. "But I told you I was-"
"Sorry?" I let out a bitter laugh. "Your apology doesn't solve a damn thing! Or are you going to apologize to me in front of all the people who heard you call me a slut?"
Xander said nothing, but he kept coming as harsh, angry breaths huffed from my nose. I felt that annoyingly familiar tingle on my skin the closer he got.
Ignoring Moon's frantic pleas to stay, I turned to leave before he could do something stupid like touch me. In one fluid movement, Xander reached me, grabbed my wrists and slammed the door closed.
