A continuous sound of message notifications made Theo arch his brows slightly. "Your phone?"
Daisy, who was munching on her steak, nodded innocently. "Hmm… probably Aurora… spamming me with pictures."
Theo just sipped on his drink, but his curiosity didn't fade even when the notifications didn't stop. After the fifth ding, he put down his glass and gave her a look. "You sure you don't want to check? It might be something urgent."
Daisy puffed her cheeks slightly, glancing at her phone which was facing down on the table before sighing. "Hmm… fine, fine…" She reached for her phone, unlocking the screen casually but her playful expression shifted the second her eyes met the messages.
Theo noticed her freeze mid-scroll. "What is it?" he asked, his tone calm.
Daisy quickly locked the phone again and forced a smile. "Ah, nothing serious… Aurora's just being dramatic, as usual."
Theo leaned back, studying her face. "Dramatic how?"
